And wow. It was my first time cupping so honestly i was scared but she is so skillful that it didn't hurt at all. It felt like she was hitting the pressure point to release the tension in that area, and 3.5 years of pain from laborious work was fixed in a one hour session. The massage room is very peaceful and has nice soothing music playing. One suggestion would be a hook or hangers for hanging up clothes but a chair is provided. Mary was very attentive and asked about the temperature, comfort of the face cradle and pressure of the massage. I've had many massages in the past and this was one of the best. It was extremely relaxing, especially the scalp massage. Mary told me exactly what she was going to do to make sure I was comfortable. I really appreciated that she washed the oil off her hands before the scalp massage so that I was able to go back to work without greasy hair. The pressure was just right, not painful but definitely worked on any tight muscles. It was a full 60 minutes and so relaxing. After a quick conversation where we covered what I was looking for, she customized the 90 minutes to be the perfect combination of relaxing and therapeutic. I had all my knots and tension worked out without feeling like I had gotten beat up. She also gave the right amount of communication throughout the massage: attentive without being intrusive to the experience. The room itself wasn't mind-blowing, but I couldn't care less when my eyes are closed for 95% of my time spent there. I also liked the fact that she used grapeseed oil for the massage.
