The therapists were great and the room was nice but beware when booking the Couples Room, it is $10 EXTRA PER PERSON. I booked specifically here because the other location nearby apparently does not have a couples room. We got 2 gift cards as a wedding gift and I knew I'd have to pay gratuity on top of the gift cards but when I booked the couples room they didn't mention the fee to me. I found out on arrival that there was a $10 fee and then found out upon checking out that it was $10 PER PERSON. Just bizarre that it costs $20 to open a divider and even worse they don't tell you. We had a very nice experience with the actual massage, but it just put a damper on the experience with the added fee that they didn't tell me about prior. Commits fraud!!!! Absolutely do not go here. They will steal your money by cancelling your appointment rescheduling it without telling you! They canceled our appointment on Mother's Day saying that their therapist had Covid and then they never called to tell us they rescheduled it for the same day with someone else (a male when we asked for a female to begin with) and then told us they were going to charge us because we missed the appointment! We called and got them to credit our account and then we had to reschedule a couple of times, which we did before the allotted time, but when I went in for my rescheduled appointment, they told me that we didn't reschedule it in enough time and they used my credit to pay their therapist even though we have call log showing that we rescheduled it on time! I will be taking this to corporate to make sure that they know what this location is doing because it's not OK to steal peoples money in this market when a husband was just trying to do something for his wife for Mother's Day! I would 1000% give this zero stars if I could. The first thing I did was ask about it when I got there and the front desk young woman was not polite about it, and said they had no reason to lie but I'm pretty sure fraudulent charges is a reason to lie! When I asked for a manager, I told her that I had worked in retail for a long enough to know there is always a manager on duty. She told me there wasn't and it was just the two front desk girls working, and then proceeded to ask me to leave. This location is very fraudulent! My husband went to buy me a gift card 2 years ago for 2 individual 1 hour massages. When he was buying them the lady gave him a 2 hour massage gift card. He asked her to fix it, but she said it was no problem I could just split it up on my visit into 2 separate hours. I waited about 6 months to use it since it was a "treat" financially for us. The manager told me we were misinformed and she would accept it for my 1 hour massage and would credit my account for 30 min as a "nice gesture". So I lost 30 minutes that my husband paid for and she considered it a "nice gesture". Well I only had a year to use my 30 min credit ,so I decided to go back this week since I was given another free 30 min promotion from this location for my birthday. I scheduled and explained that I planned on using my free 30 min, the 30 min gift card balance I PAID for, and I would pay for another 30 min to have a 90 min massage. The manager called me back before my appt to tell me sorry but I could either use my promotion for a free 30 min birthday OR my gift card balance. So another 30 minutes was wasted! I don't understand how this location can just steal my gift card balance for 30 min last year and another 30 minutes this year. Why even have promotions? They're just scams to get you to come in and then they charge you more at your visit. Overall I would say it's very disappointing. I used to be a member here and I dropped thousands of dollars at this location. Prior to being a stay at home mom, I would get massages every two weeks here. They've received a lot of business from me. Now that I can't afford to be there every 2 weeks, they treat my business like shit. They steal my time I paid for, and they falsely advertise promotions. I would not recommend this location unless you can pay full price and visit them often. If you're not pouring money into their business you're worthless to their time. I would also like to add, if I was rating on my experience with Connie and Wendy over the years alone, it would be excellent. They are the only good thing about this location. Unfortunately from what I've heard, they are no longer there but Connie and Wendy deserve a 5 star rating for wherever they are now! I don't like how the staff operates. When you get a ONE TIME massage they're aggressive with the, "we need a card now or we're cancelling your appointment." First of all, there's a MUCH BETTER way to communicate this rather than having so much attitude. Especially for a first time customer just looking to treat themselves to a one time massage. It was off to a bad start so my daughter and I will be going elsewhere. The girls need to have less attitude and say something like, "we need a card on file so our therapists get paid for working, just in case you aren't able to make it." Raving about Wendy on here is a no-brainer! She is amazing and definitely an expert at her job. I have gone to Elements three different times now, and being that I only have the availability to schedule right before I come, I have had three different therapists. I don't remember who on my first visit, Wendy on the second, and this last time Vanessa. Wendy did the best job the second time I attended Elements and I was skeptical of coming in to get a 90 minute with Vanessa, but beggars can't be choosers since I usually call asking if there are any empty slots 20 minutes before. Well, it was a total waste of time worrying because Vanessa was also amazing at what she does. I fell asleep because I was so comfortable and relaxed in my massage with her! I also really want to add how amazing the front desk help is. I didn't catch his name, but he was so nice and accommodating. He always makes it a point to provide great customer service. What I also really appreciate about him is each visit he encourages me to sign up for the membership, but being that I can't ensure I will be able to schedule an appointment every month or even every other month, he is super understanding and doesn't pressure me or make me feel uncomfortable about coming back. I Such a great experience, and she really listened to my needs and made me feel comfortable. the entire process was easy, and I was able to get a same day appointment! Mehhh just mehhh... booked a couples massage for me and my bf and don't get me wrong the massage ladies were nice but I truly felt like they were super new into the field or something it was nothing special at all. I inquired about the groupon rate and I truly felt like we were given a cheap massage because of it ...She got some kinks out of my neck I thought at the time .... but later I realize she totally messed my neck up worse than it has ever been ! COMMITS FRAUD My massage was good, my experience was not. I went in around a month ago for my first time and ended up signing up for a monthly massage subscription. I would pay a monthly fee for a monthly massage and was told I could cancel anytime. Flash forward a month and I'm trying to cancel because I found cheaper and closer massage studios, so I call to cancel my upcoming massage and subscription. The manager was very unhelpful and had awful customer service. I was told that I could not cancel without 30 day notice, this doesn't work for me because I don't want my card charged and I don't plan on going to receive a service anyways. I explained to the manager that staff told me I could cancel anytime when I signed up, all she had to say was a I signed a paper and should've known. I can see that, but why when I ask are employees saying I could cancel anytime without mentioning 30 days? Then the manager says I also have to come in to sign termination papers, which I was not told either. (Exact conversation with employees previously: "So I can just call and cancel anytime?" "Yes and there's no cancellation fees." Point blank, I asked the manager if she was going to charge my card without my permission and without receiving my service. She said yes. I used to love this place. It's right by my house, and everyone was always nice. I haven't gone in about 6 months, and it appears that along with their ever changing staff, their customer service approach has changed as well. I've never had a massage place ask me to pay in advance for my massage. Well, yesterday they did. Thanks for making me feel like a criminal or something. It made me feel like she thought I was going to skip out on paying. Even though I'd already paid for most of the service IN ADVANCE with a $100 gift card. Even more insulting, a couple who came out AFTER their massage were paying next to me. So, I'm not sure if it was personal or if it was because I was the only person of color there. I get massages monthly due to my occupation. Today I got a deep tissue massage by Lisa. After a long hard work week running around a restaurant I was so sore and stiff. I cannot tell you how much she was able to relieve my pain. Literally one of the best deep tissue massages I've had. She used very firm pressure and worked on my problem areas. I feel 100% relieved. We filled out our paperwork and within two minutes we were taken back. My massage therapist was Lupe. I explained to her that this was my first time, she happily answered any questions I had, followed up on paperwork, and asked me about any target areas. Another Elements Massage canceled my pre-scheduled appointment with less than 24 hours notice so I called this location to see if they have a last-minute 90-minute opening and they got me all set up with Andrew. Location is easy to find, ample parking in the strip mall. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming. I arrived more than 15 minutes early to fill out medical intake form for first time appointment at this franchise location (the information does not transfer but that is more a corporate flaw than studio's). Andrew met me and we got started early (huge win) and he listened patiently about what may be injured, just sore, or needs extra attention. He explained he does medium pressure due to a current injury and said "if anytime you are not happy with the massage, let me know cus I don't want you paying for a service you did not enjoy". NOW THAT is a humble masseur & great customer service. The massage was great. He worked out ALL the knots in my neck, upper and lower back, shoulder and rotator cuff - it was like a bubble wrap game that we were winning! A month ago I had a bad back pain and I went there since is close by where I live , massage was ok actually helped me a lot have no complaints for that at all. When I left the lady at front desk offer me the membership which I refused then she asked me to get massage a month after that which I didn't say you, well she booked the day ans time she wanted. That day came ans I started receiving a call for the place I imagined they wanted to book an appointment . I didnt pick up the phone because I was out of town and the second call somebody left me a message that since I dint show up ( for an appointment i didnt book) i was gonna reicibe a charge for cancelation fees. What ??? So i called back immediately and the lady said i had an appointment and it was gonna be 45 dollars for not canceling the appointment obviously that drove me crazy so I'm the meantime while I hung up and call back to speak with the manager, with no authorization and arbitrarily they charged 139.00 to my card that they shouldn't have to keep on file and they had no written authorization and signature for me to make any charges. So they got the amount they wanted whenever they wanted after speak with a girls who said was the manager and after she threatened me saying if I keep talking like that ( loud and upset) she was not gonna process my refund. So I had to open an investigation with the bank for fraud. Fortunately bank was able to refund me that money was stole from this place and the unprofessional staff they have. First off, I do suggest you go here if you're looking for a new massage place but it seems theres a pattern that its difficult to explain what you want or have the therapist hear you out. I've been here 3 times I believe. I mainly like going here because the location can be convenient to me and they have online scheduling. I almost never get a massage if I can't read future appointment times online. That being said they seem to always have openings so if you find a therapist you like or wanna try it out its super easy to maintain a schedule. I saw Wendy and she's naturally skilled but I wasn't able to fully convey what I needed done. I like to see how a therapist naturally massages to be honest. Best massages I've gotten I didn't tell them one thing about myself or ask for one thing so I figure theres a natural insight in it. I also saw Jonathon... My biggest quam is I expressly conveyed that I got there early, 30min early actually, to make sure I got every minute of massage. He assured me that in litetal terms. I was "seen" at 4:10, few min later it began... 4:12, massage ends, I begin to gather myself, moments later I check my phone, it's 5:06, that means the massage ended at 5! but didn't start until 4:12? What's the point of paying by length of time when its not a full 60min? They even said they don't have that 5min before after rule and you get a full 60min. read more

Had a couple massage so this is reviewing both therapists separate. When we got there the front desk ladies were very polite. It was pretty hot in the front area to where I actually had to step outside to cool off some even in this AZ heat. The staff stated they could turn the air down some as well. My partner and I were called back at 2:06 PM and they did a review on what we wanted. They were done at 2:54 PM. So we were actually shorted a few minutes. My partners therapist did a wonderful job. Travis listened to not only verbal requests but was able to take note by the way my partner reacted through body ques. She was very pleased all the way around on his professionalism as well as his style. She rates him a 9 out of a 10. My therapist Andrew was polite but I dont feel he really got what I was wanting as he kind of cut me off when I was trying to explain. My partner and the other therapist kind of giggled about it when it happen as I was having to repeat myself a couple times. I wanted stretch to be Incorporated into my massage with my shoulders and back as the main focus point for the deep tissue massage. My legs were the areas I wanted stretched incorporated with the massage. He was able to apply great pressure onto my back but it didn't really feel like a massage, he didn't use much of his hands at all. It felt like he placed his body weight on his forearms and just moved around so I did not get the knots in my shoulders worked on at all as well as other focal points on the back. It felt like a pressure rub on my back. My arms/hands, feet were not done at all. The stretches were nice but the massage on my legs were nothing. Again it was like a deep overall rub. The sides of my legs and sides of my thighs were not touched at all. Even though I was not real happy, I still tip as I feel work is work. We checked out and the ladies asked how it was, I informed her the stretches were nice but I was not happy with the massage aspect at all but my partner was very happy with hers. All she said was, he has been doing this for 17 years, maybe you just need a different therapist and asked if I wanted to book another appointment. I love how they incorporate stretch massage so I am willing to try again but maybe with the Tempe location and a different therapist. read more

Very disappointing experience. Got a Groupon as a gift from my husband and called and scheduled an appointment with Melissa. I was very specific with them that I wanted a lymphatic massage. Explained that I had lymphedema in my leg and was not interested in anything other than a lymphatic massage. Told me Melissa was the expert so I scheduled an appointment with her. Saw her this morning and before we got started I again explained to her that I had lymphedema in my leg and was only interested in a lymphatic/relaxation massage. What I got was a deeply uncomfortable, deep tissue massage. Lots of thumbs and elbows pressing every sore muscle. And she talked constantly... Would tell me the pain level should be a 7... seriously? In a relaxation massage I should experience pain at a level 7? She would then shove a thumb or elbow into where ever she thought was "tight" and would press it there until she either thought she felt it release or until I told her the pain dropped to a 2. What the heck? I have never had a massage therapist intentionally massage to a certain pain level. I did tell her several times that it was uncomfortable but she seemed to think that was a result of my tight muscles as opposed to the way she was massaging. Also, she used so much pressure when massaging my upper back with her full arms that my face and neck were shoved so hard into the table. Also, she clearly had absolutely no idea what lymphedema means. She said she was a medical assistant but the way she massaged my lymphatic leg made it perfectly clear she had no idea what she was talking about. If I had wanted a deep tissue massage, maybe this would have been an awesome experience? I have no idea... I hate deep tissue massages. read more

I used a Groupon and received great service. I was able to make an appointment quickly that worked with my crazy schedule. I was welcomed into the spa, they gave me water and I filled out the forms. Emily took me back a couple minutes before my scheduled appointment, talked with me about what I wanted/needed from the massage session then let me change. The massage lasted 50 minutes, as they said for a 60 minute massage and it was great. She had great pressure and did exactly what we had discussed. I'd recommend it although I'm not sure what the prices are outside of Groupon...they seem comparable to many other spas. read more

Here visiting from out of town and had the most relaxing 2 hour massage with Lupe as a walk in. Try the CBD oil, it's a game changer. I doubted it would do much but it has a very nice and relaxing cooling effect almost like peppermint but more subtle. I went in looking for deep tissue and while they said Lupe normally doesn't do that, I found she was able to provide deep enough pressure to get the large knots out of my shoulder and back.
