Regina was great help in the whole processing of getting a place and moving in. She was able to get us in before key time. I use to love living here. Now I hate it. People aren't very nice, at all. The leasing office and management is not helpful at all, in fact they will send threatening letters to CYA. The best people here are the maintenance team, Anthony, Jose, Jesus, & Daniel, as well as the cleaning staff. The leasing office flat out lies about time frames. They said the dog park would be built by December 2021 when I moved in. They do not communicate when there is an emergency (example: active shooter in building barricaded in his appt for 9 hours and we got an email about it the following morning, fire alarms randomly going off, ect.) In addition, many dogs have been attacked here by Pitt bulls (one killed with her head bitten off a few months ago). I was very excited to move here, and now can't wait for my lease to be up. The leasing office and management (Robin) do not take crucial matters, such as dog attacks, car break ins, bikes being stolen (which happen at least twice a month here in a "locked" garage with "cameras".) The leasing office does not take this or handle these situations in a professional or serious manner. If you need help, they will tell you to call the police; managers will not help with any crimes occurring on their property. Elements is an unsafe place for dogs to reside due to the management allowing aggressive dogs to live here. The office also will lie when you move in starting that the second structure will be done in 6 months. They told me this over 2 years ago and continue to tell new residents this. Also, they allow a unit on section 8 housing on the first floor to do hard drugs in their home with no investigation or repercussions. If you are considering moving here, I would highly suggest you rethink that decision and look elsewhere as the Elements Community is a toxic environment to reside. read more

Updating my review due to the amount of cases of criminality inside of the community. Bikes getting stolen, cars getting broken...and any change regarding the security is made. Love the community (neighbors, amenities, cleaning and maintenance employees) but we can't live in a place with high renting prices and feel worried about your car parked inside of a gated place with cameras everywhere. Something has to change and a bigger care with the tenants and their belongings is the minimum expected. read more

I recently moved into Elements with my husband and we couldn't be happier with our apartment. We are in the new "Wood" building and it is beautiful with some of the coolest amenities I've ever seen in an apartment complex! What really made our experience so great was the excellent customer service provided by Regina from the leasing office! She helped us throughout the entire process and was always there to answer any questions we had. Regina was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, honest, and kind! She made our move-in process stress-free (thank you, Regina!). My husband and I look forward to living here and building a community with all of our new neighbors! :) read more

Let me start by saying. Im not a big Yelper or complainer. I am a pretty positive and patient individual overall. This place is SUPPOSED pretty awesome. But I waited about  five months on purpose to see how the honeymoon stage would pan out.  1. Maintenance staff is great! A+ 2. Office staff thinks their shit doesnt stink because they believe they work at a high end apt complex. After many what should of been pleasant encounters I have come to this conclusion. Your job is customer service, not to be angry, agitated or snobby 24/7. They talk and look at you like you are a nuisnace as a resident. Paying $3400 a month for a two bedroom isnt chump change. Prob close to alot of their salaries. Not like it matters, just be freaking nice.  3. They sell you on exclusive amenities and during this pandemic they have been terrible communicators, customer service reps and a pretty unpleasant company to deal with. So many great, level headed residents are right there with me on this.  4. As Orange loosens its restrictions these a** holes fail to open their amenities or even as much as give their paying residents any plan of action. While neighboring complexes provide openings and rent credits. 5. Send an email get a copy and paste response back about CDC guidelines. Well get your facts straight and look around to whats happening and allow the residents to finally use what they pay for.  6. Everything is made cheaply and breaks down. Water leaks, plumbing issues,  mis wired electric issues. Just a disaster, yet they speak to us like we owe them!  DO NOT MOVE IN AND BE SOLD BY THEIR BULL SHIT, THE ONLY THING UPSCALE IN THIS PLACE IS THE RESIDENTS. Everything that they have no control of. Real bummer because this was a place I was actually excited to move into. read more

Been a resident for almost two years now. They just made a change to the parking situation where you cannot park in the lot across the street anymore. There is absolutely ZERO parking for guests. And by zero, I don't mean that they can just park on a street 5 minutes away and walk to the place. There are literally zero solutions within a mile radius. My roommate and I cannot have our girlfriends over for dinner anymore because they can't park anywhere without getting a ticket or towed. They will tell you "we have plenty of guest spots and you can park on the street behind the buildings" but I honestly think you have a better chance at finding a spot on the Newport peninsula on a perfectly sunny day in summer than in those spots. Unless you plan on never having a guest come and see your place, this apartment complex is no go until they fix the parking situation. Don't let the employees in the leasing office tell you they have plenty of guest parking because it's a complete lie (they told us the same exact thing)! read more

I moved in a couple weeks ago into the new building on the third floor and just dealt with a terrible ant problem. I realized my new apartment is poorly built with big globs of paint dried on doors, random scuffs, holes, and gaps, all throughout the apartment. Elements is an expensive apartment complex to live in and often times I feel as though I made the wrong decision moving here. The ants had completely taken over the guest bathroom and spread to my kitchen, making them both gross and unusable for the time being. I do not leave food out, and that bathroom is completely empty, so I can rule out it being a personal living issue. While spraying the ants with different materials I had to go out and purchase myself, I noticed all the poorly sealed gaps and holes throughout the door frames and baseboards that these ants could make a path through. I even noticed a couple ants and holes in my bedroom as well. I called the leasing office about it and even after already calling and submitting a work order, I have to fill out more forms and just wait. After calling, they did not offer any sort of compensation despite this clearly being an issue at their responsibility, and not mine. How am I expected to wait and submit all these forms while the ants continue to crawl all over my belongings, especially kitchen items, and not try to handle the situation on my own? I feel as though I should be compensated. I cannot cook at the moment, eating at home is uncomfortable and gross, and that bathroom is also unusable. The guest bathroom door can't even shut due to the apartment being poorly built and I don't know how this was not checked for beforehand. In addition to pest control, I think I have to submit two new work orders for the holes and the door, both of which are not at my personal fault. It is frustrating, especially because you move into an apartment at this price point and expect a different standard of living. I also dealt with an issue of someone parking in my assigned space since day one of moving into the apartment. Garden communities courtesy patrol literally does not do anything, I found that out after making four separate reports about the same vehicle at different days and times. Save your time and contact the leasing office to get information about their towing company. I chose to live here for their amenities, but I have quickly realized it does not make up for the actual apartment itself that boasts the words "luxury" and "high-quality." read more

Also. This place is INFESTED with bugs (ants and fruit flies). They say they can spray weekly but THAT DOES NOT FIX THE ISSUE! And will not!!! The infestation is literally behind the walls in the plumbing - we are dealing with moisture ants here!!! And then the flies and gnats come up through the plumbing as well. This place literally needs to be condemned and have a deep extermination done. There is no other way to get rid of these bugs!!! It's EVERYDAY! read more

After about 5 horrendous months of living here and many negatives here is another! Just when I thought elements couldn't get worse they never fail to surprise me! As I was making my way up the parking garage a car hit me and ran. I went immediately to the leasing office extremely shaken up considering a guy was speeding in the garage and hit me inside of my car. They were extremely unhelpful and basically told me I'm left to fend for myself. And that Irvine police is the only one who is able to help me. I took a picture of the cars front plates and most likely he is a resident and showed the leasing office and they wouldn't even run the plate in our system. However Robin made sure to get me to email her the cars plates anyway. Even though she would not be searching in resident database or reaching out to them. I asked at the very minimum for ELEMENTS to put out a email to residents about safety and reckless driving in the garage and that was too much for Robin to even assure me she could do. I could've been very hurt and it was right underneath a camera. If anything happens to you or your property as a resident here you are on your own. As I've mentioned previously in regards to numerous other issues I have had in my short time here. Thank you to the Irvine police and the other resident that saw the accident and came to see if I was ok. ELEMENTS, and ROBIN SPECIFICALLY YOU ARE NOT LUXURY AND OR CARING. Natasha H read more

Avoid this place like the plague. Management is AWFUL. Once you sign your lease, they are not accommodating whatsoever and do not care about the residents. There is police constantly at the building and there is dog poop/pee always in the elevators and on the rugs throughout the building. The morale since I've moved in has significantly diminished and most residents I speak to are wanting to move out. I cannot wait until our lease is up so I never have to deal with this place again. If you are looking for a nice "luxury" apartment, go anywhere else. What you pay for here does not match the quality of living that you get. read more

So I locked myself out and had no choice but to go to the leasing office To ask for Help. Anyway. I met with Regina which was smiling and happy and laughing. And I told her my story and she helped me out. No questions asked not only did you take care of me. She was funny, too. We actually laughed together and told each other a couple stories. It was like we were best buds. Thanks Regina, for your help, you made my experience awesome. read more

I had the pleasure of meeting Ben Flores from Maintenance yesterday. Ben Flores is a standout. Personable, friendly, and extremely helpful. After each task he asked, "anything else I can help you with?" And I kept thinking up things for him to do! :-) He really hooked me up on the water pressure in my sink, for real, and gave me good tips on how to optimize the pressure. Frankly, all the maintenance guys at Elements are awesome. They are super responsive no matter what time of day and their follow up and follow through is exceptional. Great customer service, well worth the price of admission! And whoever is doing the recruiting (Jesus, is that you?) is doing a fantastic job. read more

Ceiling are the worst !!! I wake up everyday with my upstairs neighbor footsteps !!! The isolation between the levels are terrible but the walls have good isolation and i never heard my side neighbors . The entry doors are so light that if someone stand behind the door in the hallway can completely hear everything you say inside . The bath tub looks really cheap and the material is plastic ( its not even a real tile ) The refrigerator doesn't have water dispenser, which is really annoying. Came from LA to do a Tour had a day packed with tours in the area, every place I went to they were prompt with going over units and amenities in the scheduled time. Came to this place 15 min early, waited for my appointment time and the person in charge of doing our tour was with the previous appointment very engaged in conversation still going over unit plans application process etc., and did not respect our appointment time, I asked how much longer I would have to wait due to being on a schedule and still nothing. We left after waiting about 10 mins as there was no sign the rep would be ready for us any time soon. It might seem minimal but professionalism is important when considering where you're going to live and seeing if they respect ur time and are efficient. Too bad we weren't able to see this place. read more

Sincerely one of the nicest places I have stayed in. I have been here for almost 2 months now and I am enjoying it so much. I am a full time college student, and it is so convenient considering how close I am to campus. From down to the amenities, all the way to the exceptional service inside the leasing office. Amazing state-of-the-art gym, bowling area, and just overall amazing units! Other than people hogging the EV spaces, there is not much I can complain about. Ever since touring the whole area, Mark in the leasing office has been such a huge help with everything. He responds to emails fast, and is always kind to the ones who need assistance. A great place to stay. read more

The maintenance staff are very conscientious! The microwave and curtains in our house were broken before, but we didn't care about them. Then one day the toilet was leaking water, so I called for an emergency maintenance service. Anthony is a very considerate maintenance guy! He quickly came to help us fix the toilet, also changed the curtains, and finally helped us order a new microwave. Later he also helped us repair the washing machine and door locks. This morning, it only took Anthony and Jesus ten minutes to get our new microwave ready! Really responsible and efficient! I will definitely recommend this service to other residents in the Elements. :) read more

Leaving a review for living in the wood building. This building is newer and the floorplans are great. We live in the corner unit so we only share walls with one neighbor. Additionally the amenities here are great, the gym is probably the best apartment gym I've ever been in, there is a bowling alley, pool tables, and also a golf simulator. The pools are also nice and not packed. The children's play area is about to be finished and looks like it will be a lot of fun. Definitely recommend this place especially compared to Irvine company apartments. read more

Had a recent repair done for our unit. Repairs took a lot longer than expected but hey that's apartment living. Good time living here other than the unit repairs and no cell reception in my unit. Most likely due to the fact that we are the units inside the building and not facing out towards the street. In terms of the maintenance done on our unit, team as been fantastic. Rob and Anthony's team are also quick and friendly to help with our needs. TLDR maintaince team great, amenities nice, poor guest parking, and poor cell reception. read more

Waste of money. They only want to get you to sign a contract and then DGAF. Lived here OVER a yr and don't let the pretty amenities trick you. Here's a snapshot of just the last month here (not even the whole yr of BS). Not only have we met neighbors wearing ankle monitors, Ive seen dogs bully guests and corner them so they couldn't leave, and to top it all off.. theres been DOG POOP ON my front door 3x now. People let their dog's poop INSIDE the building w/o cleaning it up. And Management has been less than apologetic even with documentation. I have a feeling the dog poop has happened to others.. as now no one has a doormat. Also, the internet sucks when everyone is sharing the same network inside a concrete can and phone service is even worse. And to get a hot shower in the morning you'll have to waste a bathtub full of cold water. (If you care about that stuff) During Covid, they made zero concessions for the residents and didn't even enforce their own "Covid rules." Save your money and rent elsewhere. BOO on you Elements! DO BETTER! read more

This review is for the maintenance personel; Anthony. He was so professional and pleasant the couple times he came to replace the alarm batteries and fix one of my kitchen drawers. Not true if they say it's 100% smoking area cause people live here still smoking inside their unit with the windows/doors open or at their patio/balcony, so you can smell marijuana everywhere in this community, everyday. Very sad that it has come to this but we have been unable to sleep for months due to noise violations above us and even tho we have time and time again tried to be reasonable and fair, we are gaslite. Worst experience ever, I eventually left after 7 months with no pool. I moved into the wood building on March 10th, and the pool is still not ready. Chris, and specially Robin Duma, are extremely rude and very vendective. Management does not care. They just wanna save money and deflect any kind of responsibility. For 3 thousand a month for a one bedroom apartment, there are far better options. A lot of the pictures that they have up online are not even real. The community has been under construction for years, but they have computer generated pictures online to decieve. As far as management's response. They clearly want to avoid any responsibility. When are you gonna finish the pool??? It's been 7 months with no pool. I lived alone, I have the lease, and you can simply look at your records, who paid you every month. Your claims are ridiculous!! read more
