I went in just to get a standard mani / pedi and walked out with the nails I needed. Amanda was fantastic. My fingernails were a mess by using glue for press on nails. After discussion I decided on getting the builder gel nails. They came out looking natural and will help treatment my damaged nails. They changed their menu for pedicures. I enjoyed the organic spa pedicure. it was very relaxing and Amanda helped match the toenail polish with the fingernail color. And we ended with a cute flower. I am ready for the beach. I've been experimenting with doing my own dip nails at home, but decided to treat myself and have them professionally done for a change. As a beginner, I fully recognize that I don't have the same training or expertise as licensed nail techs, which is why I was excited to see what a professional touch could do. When I arrived, my nail tech, Joe, began removing my previous dip by filing. A few of my nails had some lifting at the corners, and rather than soaking them off, he started to pry the dip off using another nail tip. This process was painful. I understand that my at-home application may not have been ideal, but I really wish the removal had been done using the standard filing and acetone method--it would have been much gentler on my nails. That aside, Joe's work overall was clean, and the final look was nice. The application is a little thicker than I personally prefer, but I recognize that comes down to individual style. I just hope that next time, more care can be taken with the removal process. read more

I did not ask for regarding gel and Jessica did not tell me it was gonna be $10 more when I wanted clear polish cause I don't like color and she gave me the specialty color when I didn't ask for a color. I just wanted clearcoat once again she didn't tell me it was gonna be $10 more and when I got to the front, they didn't even show kindness. They would rather have me and the nail tech waste our time to take it off and reapply just to put clear or pay the $10 extra for it which is really unnecessary because it was gonna waste my time so I'm not happy with what happened at all and it is my second time going. and she didn't apply the specialty color twice. She did one light coat and they could've said my apologies but they didn't. They gave me the alternate of stay waste your time or suck it up and pay the $10 when they could've just been like I'll take it off, especially since you only had one coat but they were being very stingy and I wasn't happy about it at all and the nail tech name is Jessica. PS I asked for square round and it's more on the square side. I'm not very happy about that either. read more

I chose their classic pedicure so I can be done quickly, how does a $35 pedicure end up being a $52 service charge? Apparently from reading past reviews it's what they do -- up charge you without telling you. Not once did I ask for anything extra other than my classic pedicure with white french tip. I always recommend this place to friends and family. I haven't had a bad experience until yesterday when I noticed every tech was rushing their customers and nails. The guy at the front desk wanted go home so badly and rushed me to make a payment while I was getting a pedicure and fill. One of the tech had to go through my pursue and I didn't want her to. After my pedicure, we moved to her table and at that point my nails were looking THICK. You know it's bad when your bf, friends and coworker say how thick and white they are. I called today to see if they could fix them. I came in and the guy at the front desk looked annoyed (he knows me by my nail btw because I've been here before and never had an issue) he told me okay will fix them. He seats me with a guy and the guy files them down and ADDS MORE acrylic. They look even THICKER. The guy at the front is always asking every customer if they like them and he checks them out by looking at the state of your nails. He didn't even bother to look mine way. He never said anything or walked by to ask anything. The guy tech asked if I liked them better and I said honestly no they look even worse but it's fine because I am gonna get them taken off tomorrow at another salon. My daughter and I went in to have our nails done this past weekend. She had an awesome tech that did a great job on her nails. Unfortunately my experience was not as great. I had to tell my tech twice that I wanted my nails cut shorter and still did not get them cut the way I wanted. I got a French and wanted it to be thicker. Told her twice about that too. I had already taken the polish off and all I needed was my toes polished and I was charged for a polish change when there weren't any polish on my toes. I didn't like that at all. I was charged $340 for ( 2) $64 dollar pedicures and 2 medium length full sets with little to/ no designs on them. The guy who was doing my nails sliced my finger open with a nail file; in the midst of him bad mouthing the previous nail tech who worked at this same nail "spa". The nail tech,and I use that term loosely (He can say what he wants about her, she never cut my finger open) managed to not only blame "dry skin" for him cutting me with the damn file but also put superglue on the cut which bonded my finger skin to the acrylic. I'm considering suing these people. Even with a 70 full set the full price should've been about 260 not including tips. How is the base price $340!!! Lucky for him I didn't wanna argue bc I was so irritated about my finger. The deluxe pedi has some weird jelly and orange slice mess going on but I'd pay for THAT again. Maybe not the whole polish my toes then put them in liquid wax. I had bubbles in my polish from it. Another thing is; WAIT UNTIL I AM DONE TO PUT ANOTHER PERSON IN THE SEAT/station IM IN. I went to wash my hands and came back, this jerk had another person next to my phone and purse like tf?! I feel like I pay for what I want if I wanted extra designs etc I'll gladly pay for the work. But if I show you a design and you tell me you can do it but, really can't. I'm gonna be more mad. I will never come here again. I only came here because Judy at Allora spa didn't answer the phone that morning. I regret going to element and will not spend a dime there I'll make sure everyone I know will never set foot in there again unless it's to have them served with a civil suit. read more

No clean instruments, not one thing. I asked for a soak off but tech insisted on peeling off the old acrylic. Would not listen to mean processed to tell me " I am the mail tech, I know what's best". I should have left but he had already clipped the tip of the old acrylic. long story short I have three infected finger nails. Within five hours my nails fingers were red and tight. If I could give them a zero I would. Oh and I got a wax first, the lady left wax on my eyebrows. She also gave me lip wax without me asking for it then change me for it. I got my nails done than went to get my eyebrows waxed. My nails were horrible. I kept looking at them trying to figure out what was wrong with them. They had no apex on any of them. Then went to get my eyebrows. They lady then proceeded to start with a lip wax. I told her no I just wanted a eyebrow wax well long story short. I ended up pay a ridiculous price for a lip wax that I didn't want. The service charges for high and the quality was not equal to charges.
