It was a Saturday night at 7pm and this Miami girl was looking for a place to get a shellac aka "gel" Mani/Pedi on my way back down towards Miami from Delray. I was planning to go out that night and my nails were on dire need of some TLC. I knew most places would be closed so I was pleasantly surprised when I found this spot was open til 9pm. There were at least 8-10 customers inside so I already knew I found a winner. Boy was I right! They quickly took me in and showed me over 100 gel nail polish colors. Ahh decisions decisions ! Amazing customer service! I ruined the polish on my big toes soon after I had them done yesterday. I came in the today unannounced and they fixed them right away at no charge. I was happy to stumble across this salon since moving here several months ago. I've been a few times and I'm really blown away by how much they all pay attention to detail. My nails always look great and my gel manicures actually last two weeks, my gel pedicure still looks like I just walked out of the salon a month later. I never stopped here before but her sweet demeanor and great calm energy will definitely make me want to return. She was oh so gentle, unrushed and very thorough on my overlooked toes. Sat for 20 minutes in a chair, with no jets allowed while my feet were in the water, even though I had an appointment at 3 o'clock. When it came time for the person to come sit and do my nails at 3:20, they were going to allow him to go with somebody else because she was complaining even though I had been there longer. Over booking, not following social distancing, will not ever be back and I've been going here for years. read more

Walked in one day to try them out.. First time was just O.K... Polish looked clumpy but I still left feeling eh whatever ive had worse.. On my hands.. On my toes I ended up with a serious toe infection a week later.. Didn't even bother calling them to complain. Gross! Second chance.. I got my nails done here for first time on Saturday. The OPI gel equipment is old and hot and doesn't work well. Thumb corner came off in 4 days which I stopped by and got fixed no problem. Two days later index and middle finger also coming off- I'm in Sales and can't come in every 4 days to fix my nails. For Gel they need to last 2 weeks! This is one of my favorite nail salons ever. I will come here every time I visit South Florida. This is my second time and they are awesome! Pedicure is soooo relaxing. I did shellac pedi and they even got me in right as they were closing and somehow remembered me from the first time I came here in December. Shellac manicure is great as well. Made an appointment for 3:15 got there at 3:10 it's 4:25 and I just got done with the pedicure when I asked for a basic pedicure. I asked for a fill in right when walking through the door I even picked out a nail color I wanted for my hands and made it clear I wanted that specific color. At the end of the hour and 15 minute pedicure I was asked if I wanted my nails done. The lady then proceeded to grab the white color I had put on my toes instead of the color I picked while waiting an hour and 15 minutes to get my pedicure finished with. Do not go here! I went to do a full set dip for me and another full set for my daughter! Instead of removing my existing nails the right way with remover and aluminum foil, these crazy women use the electrical polisher drilled it down to below my nail surface created a BURN on my nail!! Very affordable at $28.00 for a mani/pedi. Convenient location with a parking lot are bonuses. The shop is clean and the staff is lively and friendly. I received a very attentive pedicure with one of the best 10-minute massages I've ever had (included in the price). Because I had to leave for an appointment before they could start my manicure, they let me pay ahead for the service and return later in the afternoon for my manicure. When I returned my earlier technician was with another client, but greeted me warmly and handed me the polish I picked out earlier in the day! I was assigned another tech who began working on my nails immediately, even though the salon was very busy. Unfortunately I was less satisified with the manicure. Though she carefully worked on my nail bed, my polish dried with streaks and bubbles, and her hand and arm massage lasted less than one minute. But when the owner came to the drying station to inquire about my satisfaction, I declined to say anything because overall my service at this salon was outstanding. Even though my polish wasn't great, the manicure itself was perfect, and she didn't hurt me one time. I had to come back and edit this entry. Even though my polish wasn't done well, it has lasted without chipping for three days now. This is a first as I am very hard on my nails. I will definitely be giving them another try! read more

My fiance and I looked for the closest nail salon in the area we were in and stumbled upon this place. Although the service was good it's not enough to give this place anymore stars. Shortly after we left the salon my fiancees toes swoll up on the sides where the nail technician had cut on the nails. Have to say, was ALWAYS happy there......then, the last three times, nothing but DISASTER !!! Made appointment with the person I like to get my nails done with, because he speaks ENGLISH. WEll, sorry, he is busy....even though I made an appointment???? So somebody else took care of me. Nails were very unsatisfactory. Second time, same thing and the lady cut my finger. OUCH ! This last time, not able to get the asked for person to work on me. Pedicure, no ENGLISH, constant talk with the girl next to him and he had to paint my toes over and over because he kept messing up. Then the OWNER did my fingernails and cut my two thumbs AND my forfinger. It still hurts 2.5 days later. The Shellac job looks terrible with streeks and bumps. I do not know what happened to "ELEGANT NAILS", but I will NOT go back. If I make an appointment with a specific person, I should be accommodated. He cut them extreamly short, all the way to the skin and cut the sides of the nail off. They looked so awful. It is hard to explain the mess he did. Came here with my friend and the guy giving her pedicure cut too deep into her cuticle, made her bleed, and without even looking up at her, poured hydrogen peroxide on it. He continued with the pedicure and didn't look up at her. Didn't apologize, didn't offer a discount. She was still in pain after we left. After moving to the Pompano Beach area it was tough to find good a nail salon, Nail Paradise Too was an absolute disaster and Nail Safa was just okay. This place is a cut above the rest because of how friendly everyone is and the service. I came in to get my nails done before Christmas and the manager Rose gave me a calendar and wished me a Merry Christmas. She was very sweet and treats all customers like old friends. My nails came out great and I was a happy customer. The only negative thing I can say about this place is that it can get a bit busy (for a good reason) and the place is not that big. If i could give this nail salon no stars i would. i have been here twice in the past two weeks. first time for a fill i left with uneven nails and they all lifted off in a week. So today i went back (with no nails on at all) and asked for a full set with gel coffin style. i was told it would be $36. by the time i was done i had "Chiclet gum" nails it was awful they charged me $41. I told them i was not happy and that this was not coffin at all. they didn't try to fix them or anything. they took my money and starred at me like i had 5 heads. This place has gone downhill dramatically. They don't care or acknowledge repeat customers, and don't honor appt times. I felt so bad when my mom was in town, she paid for the "mother to be" (me) to get a mani/pedi with her, and the lady literally put not massaged, not rubbed, but put lotion on my arms and painted my nails. No manicuring in there at all. I pretended to be pleased to avoid hurting my moms feelings. They look like the tools they're using are from new, sanitized packages, but if you watch, they actually put their used tools back into the same package! Gross! Overall, they don't even pretend to appreciate business, almost as if they don't want you there at all! So that's what I do, don't go there at all! I've been going to this location since I was probably around 7 years old. Rose used to run it, and we never had any problems, they knew us, she treated us like family, she would even give me cultural little outfits from her country when I was a little girl! My mother and I still go here, even after the ownership change, but after today's visit I will be finding another location! I sat between my mom and my aunt (Keep in mind that I am 18 years old now), and they asked me to get up and move to a different chair which I thought was weird. About 5 minutes in, I realized it was because I was getting (who I assume to be) a new worker in training. She didn't massage my legs, instead she lathered my legs in oil and rapidly moved her hand up and down until the oil was gone. Training is not easy, and I understand that skill comes with practice, but it was not a good experience, and I am disappointed that I was forced to move and given the short end of the stick because I am a "kid", especially when I have been a customer for over 10 years. The only thing good about this place is Nina and the regulars know that because she is always booked up! Either way, the money that comes out of my pocket is just as good as the money that comes out of anyone else's pocket and I will find a different place that values my business! read more
