I barely drop reviews but I have been coming to Nails Spa BK for about three months now after being a local in FTL for five years. The owners are truly some of the kindest and hard working individuals in the industry. They work 8-8pm or more every single day, and aside from that the quality of the nails done by Brian and Kim are stellar. They are the absolute best, focus on growing out my natural nail and I just love coming here because they make every customer feel like family. Plus I feel like they have great pricing. I've done dip, builder gel and cat eye designs. They do it all but I believe specialize in builder gel and I'm never going back I LOVE this place. I have never been treated so poorly at a nail salon in my life! The guy that works there my thumbs weren't drying, and he would pull him out and tap his hand on it not gently to see if it was dry and messed it up and then puff and puff, and then sat there and talked about me while I was sitting there! I left in tears. I've never experienced anything like it in my life I would not go here. I will say the woman who did my toes was lovely. UPDATE it was obviously the polish that was an issue because it did this on my toes!!! RUDEST man!!! read more

This place is great and pretty quick if you don't like sitting at a salon for 2 and a half hours. My nails always look good after leaving. I wish I could come here more. Second nail salon in Ft. Lauderdale that is well below my expectations. He actually nicked me and I bled. Thought he would make up for it but I have gel polish all over my fingers. He didn't even try to file my nail off from my skin which most salons do. Sadly I will not return. Still on the look out for a good nail salon. Maybe only NJ salons have good nail techs read more

Ok soo giving two generous stars for this place because on numerous occasions Ive had issues recently. The wife of Brian is amazing, but other staff members make lots of mistakes. I came in with an appointment and they confused my friend for me and gave her my appointment, and then scolded me like I was a child, not a customer. Another time Brian did my pink and white and it looked so sloppy I had to have them taken off the next day. While I frequented here in the past I would not recommend it to anyone in the future. read more

First time visit and last time. I showed Brian a picture of my nail inspo. It was extremely natural nail request, sheer beige. He proceeded to over dip my nails without shaping them first. I even asked and his answer was, I am lazy. I decided to trust the process and I noticed how thick he was layering the dip powder. When I noticed him starting to shape the nails, I knew it was going to be bad. My face changed and as he noticed he decided to start boosting the salon sharing everyone there has been going for years. I found that to be odd. When he begins to apply the polish he asked me if I wanted just one coat, I said "I wanted a beige tone" mind you he chose pink dip powder. When he finished I literally was so upset. Paid my service and then I was sent a survey link on my service experience. I proceeded to share my pov and he responded with call the salon to make it right. I call the salon about 2hrs after and asked for my nails to be redone. He was rude saying how I should have said something in the moment, I do agree but then he kept pushing the issue instead of hey, come in and we will make it right. Again, first and last time I come here. read more

My first time there was a wonderful experience! I was greeted happily as a walk-in with my friends daughter. I needed help fixing a terrible full set done elsewhere the day before. My full set looked awful thick, bumpy, uneven lengths, and a terrible color. Brian reassured me he could fix this mess. He did such an amazing job transforming my nails evenly, shaped beautifully and applied OPI Funny Bunny. Brian was so kind and did my nails in a timely manner. I had my dip powder with tip extensions removed and a fresh set immediately added on, and I will always be going back here! Appointment was prompt and I've never gotten a dip powder with tip manicure faster. Brian didn't rush, he is just so efficient and good at the manicure that he was able to get me out in roughly an hour. He took the time to help me pick a color despite being busy, and i really appreciated attention to detail. I will never go anywhere else. A good friend of mine recently referred me to Nail Spa BK and I just had my first appointment with them today. I met with April for my pedicure and Brian for my acrylic refill. The both were AMAZING! They both took their time to dedicate their attention to my services and the results are simply wonderful. I am not easy to please when it comes to my nails, and these guys did not disappoint. Friendly service, and well priced but the place was a bit dirty including the bathrooms which were unkept.. My friend got a toe infection from the pedicure, so we will not be returning unfortunately. STAY AWAY. If I could give Zero stars I would. My nails and toes looked like crap, chipped and lifted. No customer service and refused to fix them. I'll have to find the pics of what they did. My favorite new nail place!!! They are super clean and organized. Everything is new and set up for social distancing. They don't even allow the other workers in the area if they dont have a client. They take your temperature and make you wash your hands, there is plexi glass at front desk and at all of the stations. I got ombre dip nails and Kim took her time and made sure they looked perfect. I was so happy with the service and his customer service is the best I have ever experienced in my whole 20 years of getting my nails done. This is my second time there, what made me return was the welcome feeling you get- they are not your typical Asian salons where they just say " you want your nails cut" pick a color" and so on... they are not overly chatty, but they will engage in conversation, and Tina must have said 4 times how sorry she was that I had to wait, and she appreciated that I did"... they do excellent work as well and I am going to tell everybody I know in this area to try them-they are kind of tucked away in that shopping center where Padrinos is off of Federal- I went somewhere else for like 2 years and each time I came in was as if it was the first time I was there-"you want your nails cut?"...Thank you Tina, Brian and Kim for being nice people- it is a rarity in this business today. read more

i made an appointment for a regular gel manicure, my nails were long, strong and 100% real, no tips…read moreat all , 100% mine. i told my nail tech several times that this is my real nails, and i only do gel polish. He either didn't listen to the multiple times i said it or he just didn't believe that my nails are actually real and not fake, because he proceeded to used multiple drills on my entire nail. On one finger he almost drilled through my nail and into my skin, it's now very sensitive and had a slight dent from the drill, causing me to say "ow that hurts ". after he was done overusing the drills he didn't put my hands in the water to soak instead he put cuticle oil on my cuticles and was about to use the trimmers when i looked and saw there was skin trimmings from someone else . I immediately pulled my hands away and called him out for trying to use a dirty tool on me, to which he argues back saying he just used it on me, which was untrue because he only used the drills and a nail file. He then tried to pull out acrylic nail tips, I got up and did not let him finish, i paid and voiced what had happened to the front desk and they refused to acknowledge any wrong doing. that nail tech completely RUINED my nails I've worked YEARS to grow long and strong . My nails are now paper thin and i will be calling the licensing and regulations to report them. DO NOT GO HERE! Not to mentioned the man at the front is incredibly rude and appeared to be drunk and slurring his words. He offered no solution or apology. I've attached my nails before (all mine no tips at all) and my nails Now after what he did to me (paper thin and almost transparent) and you can see on my middle finger where he drilled way too much and left a dent .

Brian & Kim are the new owners of this location as of July 2020 and they are amazing! Kim has been doing my nails for 15+ years & was saddened to hear she was no longer at previous location. I hit the jackpot looking for a new place closer to home when calling various places and actually found her in her own shop. If you want perfect nails that last then you must make an appointment to see her! Shop is very clean & super relaxing (I have a feeling I'll fall asleep when I go back for pedicure LOL). Following safe guidelines by taking temperature when you arrive, then wash your hands, station cleaned after every client so it is clean when you sit down with barrier in between. read more

This place is incredible, a hidden gem that I recently discovered, a husband and wife team , ( Brian & Kim), that recently bought the salon and turned it into a nail spa, Kim gives one of the best pedicures that I have ever received, ( I literally fell asleep because I was so relaxed), and my nails look so perfect and beautiful, also more importantly they are following all the proper sanitation guidelines, your temperature is taken at the door, and they have clear dividers at every station, you must wash your hands as soon as you arrive, I felt very safe and Kim is the best of the best!, ask for her and you will t read more

I requested for an appointment and when i got the there place was super super clean, and smelled really nice, of incense. i was greeted and was taken to a chair to get my nails done. the lady doing my nails was really. nice, very attentive to details, and open to new designs when i asked her if she can do other designs. the guy that was working there was really nice as well and a few times came to check on the progress and said my nails looked very pretty and overall i love the place. i will definitely be going here again. read more

i made an appointment for a regular gel manicure, my nails were long, strong and 100% real, no tips…read moreat all , 100% mine. i told my nail tech several times that this is my real nails, and i only do gel polish. He either didn't listen to the multiple times i said it or he just didn't believe that my nails are actually real and not fake, because he proceeded to used multiple drills on my entire nail. On one finger he almost drilled through my nail and into my skin, it's now very sensitive and had a slight dent from the drill, causing me to say "ow that hurts ". after he was done overusing the drills he didn't put my hands in the water to soak instead he put cuticle oil on my cuticles and was about to use the trimmers when i looked and saw there was skin trimmings from someone else . I immediately pulled my hands away and called him out for trying to use a dirty tool on me, to which he argues back saying he just used it on me, which was untrue because he only used the drills and a nail file. He then tried to pull out acrylic nail tips, I got up and did not let him finish, i paid and voiced what had happened to the front desk and they refused to acknowledge any wrong doing. that nail tech completely RUINED my nails I've worked YEARS to grow long and strong . My nails are now paper thin and i will be calling the licensing and regulations to report them. DO NOT GO HERE! Not to mentioned the man at the front is incredibly rude and appeared to be drunk and slurring his words. He offered no solution or apology. I've attached my nails before (all mine no tips at all) and my nails Now after what he did to me (paper thin and almost transparent) and you can see on my middle finger where he drilled way too much and left a dent .
