Great service! I'm really happy with my pedicure and my pink an white gel nails. My nail tech was detailed and got all my ingrown nails out. She took her time and did well. They also did a fantastic job on my daughters hands and feet! No complaints, we are both very happy. The vibe was chill - enough talking but not to much. In town for a cruise. Needed a quick mani/ pedi before we set sail. I went in around 1030a. Was seated right away for a pedicure. Plastic lined tub and sanitized tools were used. Anna did a great job cleaning and polishing my toes. Nice scrub, massage, and warm towel included. She took her time and was very detailed which I appreciated. She also did my gel manicure afterwards. She removed my cuticles and it was not painful at all. Overall good experience! The total for gel mani and reg pedi was $66. WORST PLACE EVER! I haven't even left and can tell you this is the worst pedicure I've had in my life! It last about 15 min , start to finish! She didn't scrub my heels, lotion, massage, NOTHING! Not only that, I had to ask her about 6 different times to keep making my nails shorter and now they aren't even filed in a straight line. I had a broken nail I needed fixed from a previous place I had went to in Dallas. Since they didn't have the same color I had to get all my nails repainted which is fine, however, there are places where they didn't polish my nails completely and you can see the old color. There are bubbles one on of my nails..idk from what! My one nail that needed to be fixed isn't even coffin shape to match my others, I kept asking him to make in more angled and thinner but I gave up, I felt like it would have been worse if he kept filling. I also asked for matte which is what my nails were previously.. they do not look matte at all! He said my color was to light which is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. My nails were lighter blue when I came in with matte color and I get matte almost everytime. Seriously the worst experience ever. I've never paid $30 for a pedicure and not get a FULL pedicure. My nails looks hideous- I'm extremely disappointed and will never be back! read more

Salon is dirty, messy, unorganized. Worst dips manicure I've ever had. Nails are lumpy and not smooth. Old polish not completely cleaned off before new polish applied. Guy tried to tell me to wash it off and scrub it with the brush. Then tried to tell me it was extra to clean up all the extra dip debris around my cuticles. Really?!? Will never be back. 3 workers in there. One to help people than 2 nail ladies. One of them is really talented and did my friends nails amazing. The other, not so much. I didn't get her name but she wears a chanel necklace. She clearly rushed me. I asked for a fill in and when she was putting the acrylic powder on I realized It was dip gel, not acrylic powder. She also put barely any on. Used the tool to smooth them out once on each nail. Continued with my french manicure and didn't use a pure white or a french base. I've been nail salon hopping. A lot lately. I do have an independent nail artist I adore, but she does this spectacular bejeweled nail art wizardry that can easily siphon your day, time I just never seem to have. The problems I've mainly encountered with all these every-block nail places are the TURNOVER and the I-JUST-STARTED-DOING-NAILS workers. I feel like once I start a little nail relationship with a good tech, I show up, he's gone and they stick me with "the new one". I've tried to get specific, too, requesting a certain level of skill and ability of the tech before I'm assigned a seat. Bait and switch then occurs. I ramble. I'm reviewing Nails by Cindy because they were just so nice and because I wasn't really expecting it---I got a great tech. Its a small place, they line the ped bowls w plastic, the tools were sanitized, they wore gloves, its not glitzy new but everything looked clean enough. The prices were about right, they didn't price gouge me for my little designs. An extra star for accommodating me being differently abled. Satisfied. read more

She paid $60 which is super reasonable for the length and shape. But what I learned about this shop as I sat and watched. They have employees who actually care anout your well being. They are detail oriented and the gentlemen doing your pedicures is an awesome employee!! I will go back and have some services done. I just tried this place for the first time. Nail job by Lily was mediocre, I had to file and fix them prior to her polishing them. She was much to quick to notice the details. She never spoke a word, even when I spoke to her. The atmosphere was uncomfortable to say the least. I felt like I said or did something wrong! If they work on tips and want repeat business then they should be a little more personable and take the time to notice details. read more

Update: the next day my nails are chipping really bad. So yeah, I am very unhappy about this. I have not been doing dishes or anything else that would cause my nails to chip. The pros: *Quick (for a mani/pedi). They had a guy working on my feet while a woman did my hands. *Fairly inexpensive $35 for mani/pedi combo *the hand & foot massage was really great! (so nice!) Cons: *Not a very impressive nail polish selection & many of them were old and separating *the place isn't very nice *There was a male employee clipping his nails on the chair near me *the same man was walking around the shop eating with his mouth open *The woman filed the nails on my left hand way too short and I had to ask her to file down the right hand so it would be even (otherwise the right hand would be significantly longer) The nail polish does not evenly cover the nails and/or edges. Overall it was an okay experience. I liked that it was quick and fairly in expensive. The nail polish selection was not very impressive. I was also not happy that the woman made my nails so short (i told her to only shorten them a little. she shorten them all the way down and I had no free edge after she was done). They did a good painting the nails (with a few spots missing the top coat). And the massage was nice. read more

This place is terrible. Got a manicure yesterday for a special occasion less than 24 hours later. Guy who did my nails repeatedly cut my skin around my fingers causing multiple cuticles to bleed. After cutting me three times someone else took over. The polish came out horrible. It was immediately bubbly before I even left the salon. I pointed this out so their proposed solution was to put another coat on, which clearly won't solve the problem when the polish stocked is just not good polish (was OPI but must have been old). Ultimately they did not charge me for the manicure which I appreciated/there's no way I would have paid for this (See picture below taken less than 24 hours after the manicure). The polish is turning orange for some reason and is peeling, and the top coat is not even on the full nail on most fingers so you can see the uneven lines. It was a very simple, non gel manicure. It's just frustrating to sit there for a manicure, waste time, and have it look terrible and have to go to an event with disgusting polish. read more

I used to come here all the time and I made an appointment for my mom to try them out .. WORST MISTAKE EVER!! The man that did her pedicure made her bleed she was screaming in pain and he continued to hurt her.. than she moves on to her dip manicure she picked gold and she starts putting a blue dip color on her nails. When she realized it she told him she picked gold not blue so instead of taking off the blue color he tells her that when she washes her hands with soap the dip will come off . ANYBODY WITH A BRAIN KNOWS THATS A LIE!!! so he than proceeds to put original color that she wanted ON TOP OF THE BLUE COLOR !!! Didn't take off the blue didn't drill the nails to make them even left it like that and let her walk out the door unhappy and without her nails fixed properly. I called the next morning to adress the situation and this is the most unprofessional place I've ever been too. The manager argued with me there's nothing he can do about it and hangs up on me. This place needs to be shut down for lack of professional and lack of cleanliness. I'm so disgusted by this place please avoid this salon at all costs !!! read more

The good news is my nails look decent. But I had to coach the woman on how to shape my nails. Square nails aren't supposed to have razor sharp edges. They need to be slightly rounded at the corners. It took three requests to get them in a normal square shape. She left one hand with nails visibly longer than the other. I had to ask her to file down one hand so my nails were even on both hands. The experience was rather unpleasant. The guy working on my feet was a bit better but both were clearly not happy to be there and the let it show big time. And it was really expensive too. To round it all out, the television was on some sort of religious infomercial type thing for a charity with very graphic descriptions of starving children. I'm sensitive to the problem of starving children in third world countries but it was on the whole time and it was very disturbing. Really not the kind of thing you want to watch while you get your nails done. I looked away of course but the sound was on so I got to hear some of the most depressing stories I've ever heard all while getting my nails done. Not recommended. read more

I last posted 4 years ago. For approximately the last 3 years, Nails by Cindy has been under new ownership. I am a regular, weekly client. I have come to know Ty, Lily, and the rest of the staff. They are all very capable and professional, and hard-working. I am a bit stunned at a post that implied that a Rolex was stolen. I have left my pocketbook out often when I use the bathroom and have never had an issue with anything being stolen. About 2 years ago, I left my debit card there by accident. They didn't have my phone number but I called and they had it in safe-keeping. This is a family-run business and Ty takes great pride in the finished product of all the technicians and ensuring that anyone he hires does a good job. I HIGHLY recommend Nails by Cindy. read more

Worse threading experience ever. I m Used to having my eyebrows thread for over decades now. This place didn't know what threading is. Started using tweezers to thread. So I had to walk out before they messed up my eyebrows. I will not recommend this place to anyone . read more

I found this place after getting my nails done at the Marriott harbor Beach. I actually paid 155 for something that looked like an amateur did. The nail Polish was not smooth and uneven on the nails ..,, the acrylic was lumpy and let's not even begin with the nail polish on my toes were just GOD awful and all over my toes. Visited this generic nail salon while on a layover in FLL recently. I'm a flight attendant & time is always crucial. I will support any biz no matter where I land. $30 for individual lashes, awesome. Rude ass behavior from the tech, absolutely unecesssry & it was freely given. She did an awesome job & my coworkers loved my lashes. Although I gave them the details of this salon, I did so with full warning: BE PREPARED FOR BITCH MODE from the tech. She was rude, arrogant, argumentative at inquiries, etc. she just told me to sit & began doing my eyelashes. In the end, this is a spot to visit if you have no alternatives and your in the area. He does and amazing foot and leg massage for no extra charge. They also don't charge extra for vinyllux polish. Oh! And they serve wine! read more
