My friend and I have both gone in twice, the first time my friend asked for blue and white with snowflakes for Christmas. The nail tech gave her red and green, when my friend stated she wanted blue, the nail tech told her no and continued to paint the red and green. This time it was my nail that broke only three days after getting a rebase, I was not doing anything rough with my nail, simply reached down to scratch my leg and the tip broke all the way off. I went in to get it fixed, and the nail tech would paint it and walk away to do something, paint another coat and walk away to make a phone call. Fixing one nail took almost 45 min and I left with the gel on my nail still wet While it's by far not the worst place I've been to, it is the lack of communication and professionalism that will be why we won't be back. read more

I went in yesterday to get a full set, got sat with a girl I've never seen before and she's never done my nails. She filed so incredibly deep that it exposed underneath my nail, it was excruciatingly painful. She got a little frustrated when I kept pulling away but when I told her it hurt she ignored the statement. I wanted red nails, and I wanted them matte. But right after she got done filing to make sure it was all smooth she just put the Matte coat right on top, leaving a lot of streaks in my nails. read more

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU TRY! I travel a lot and tried this place because I desperately needed a manicure after covid. I should have know by the upset customer cussing out the owner, or the dirty condition of the place, but I was in the middle of a manicure. I got back to my regular place today and when they took the dipping powder off, my nails were yellow/green. They did not apply a base coat and when they brushed on the "dipping powder" it left air pockets for moisture to get in. Right when I walked in the door, I thought about leaving. The greeting was "what do you want?" I tell them a manicure and pedicure. I was then told to wash my hands. It's great that they are having people wash. I suppose I just expected a bit of a greeting. I didn't feel welcome at all. It was crowded, boarder line over crowded for Covid restrictions. I got gel polish for the first time. If this is a representation of gel polish, I will stay away from it next time. The polish was thick in some areas and very thin in other. Just over all every uneven. My nails were not filed evenly. It's very noticeable. I ended up going home and filing them myself. Usually, after the polish the manicurist (who never told me her name) does a bit of a hand massage with lotion. This was not done. My pedicure turned out better than my manicure thankfully. I originally wanted just regular polish on my toenails but she kept pressuring me to do shellac so I eventually just said fine so she'd stop trying to upsell me. I don't like being pressured into overpaying for something I didn't even want. The manicure and pedicure were so rushed, it was done in under an hour. The dividers that were set up to separate people kept falling down. Overall, I would not go back. It was not relaxing at all. It was subpar at best and not nearly worth the $87 (not including tip) that I was charged. read more

Disappointed. This place has recently gone through a management change. Some of the furniture and fixtures have been upgraded. But, the prices have gone up and the service quality has suffered. I have been here twice since the management change. The first time, I made an appointment and they still didn't get to me until 30min after my appointment time. The shaping and painting of my nails isn't at the quality level I have come to expect from this place. I had to put additional top coat on my nails when I got home so that they were adequately covered. And, there is definitely an "assembly line" feel to the place now, where they power through your service to get you out the door. It may just be an adjustment period, but I have been disappointed enough to start shopping for a new favorite nail salon. read more

They don't take the time to let the gel cure and you have to go back and ask them to fix them the next day because the gel peels off you acrylic (been twice and both times this happened) They rush through everyone so your nails never turn out good or last. Don't go. This is serious. Dirty, chaotic place. My first visit (on impulse) was for a regular pedicure on Fri Jan 31, 2020. I just took the last of antibiotics prescribed for a bad skin infection on Feb 12. The tech cut the cuticle on my big toe too close and made appropriate apologies, and I forgave her. BUT - the infection that flared up 12-24 hours later was frightening. My toe was 2X normal size & flaming red. On Mon Feb 3, I consulted the doctor & started 900 mg per day Clindamycin & improved within 4 days. Checking Yelp 1st would have saved me a lot of grief. I am considering reporting to State licensing board to save others. read more

I'm giving this place 1 star because they stopped taking appointments and it is now first come first serve. It's difficult to wait around as the average wait is about 35-45 minutes and I can no longer get an appointment with the nail tech I have been going to for 2 years. Way to lose your customers guys! Some people actually have a life and waiting around 35-45 min. to be taken by any nail tech is not a good option. Walked in on a snow day for eyebrow waxing. Was told to go to the back room, I followed the lady. The room was disgusting, the table covered in an obviously unwashed cover with stains all over it. And the edges of my nails are so sharp that I keep scratching myself with them. And every time I go and they always make me bleed. My Aunt, daughter and I visited today for pedicures and had an amazing experience. They have completely remodeled and it looks amazing! They have a beautiful waterfall video and soft relaxing music and beautiful pictures on the walls. The chairs are sooo comfortable and they massage. They offer beverages and took such good care of us. They do push the deluxe package but didn't bother me as it was amazing and well worth the money which wasn't much btw. This place is always very busy and you will wait regardless if you have an appointment or not. Make sure you pre book with a technician that you know is good, otherwise you're not going to get good service or be happy with your nails. There is only one person who has done my nails exactly as I asked and she's so busy I have to wait 15-45 minutes, even if I have an appointment with her. I finally had to find a new nail place because the only person who is good there is overbooked and overworked and it's ridiculous to make an appointment and have to wait anyway. If I could give This place a zero star rating I would. I went in there about a week ago and asked for a specific design which will be the first picture that I include. I came out with these. There is paint all over my nails my cuticle was all covered in powder and cut up, and one of my fingers was very cut up. I went in there with $40 telling the lady that that's all I could afford and she still tried to charge me $50.. Even though I told her I only had $40 so I asked her what was in the price range of $35 because I still wanted to tip her. She then proceeded to charge me $5 for designs even though on their sign it says free designs. I called right after I left because they were closed by the time I left. And they told me to come back The next day, I called ahead the next day because I've had a couple problems with them before and they told me that they probably didn't have time to do anything but they would look at them, so I went in and had them look at them because my nails were hurting really bad and I did notice while the lady was doing my nails she did not file down the old powder that I had on my nails. My nails were super thick the designs were super thick and I had paint all over my fingers. when I was in the salon they told me that they would have to charge me $35 to get them fixed. Even though the day before they already charged me $40. my main concern was me possibly getting an infection, it was way past the designs at that point because my nails, my fingers, and even my hands were hurting. they proceeded to tell me that it was my fault because my nails were "too long" even though I've had long nails for about three years now. And I've never once had pain with the length. And I don't quite understand how the pain would come from that when I had cuts all over my cuticles and powder all over them. When the One of the ladies was looking at my nails she told me that there was no cuts, I proceeded to show her them on one finger and she told me that it's only on one. Whether or not it's on one or 10 I can still get an infection from one cut. I then asked them for a refund because I wasn't going to pay another $35 and they told me that there was no refunds. I then asked them if they could just take them off and they refused me service unless they charged me. Then the lady that works upfront proceeded to push me out the door and I told them that I will be contacting Dora a.k.a. the health board department. And because I know elegant management is reading this they have been contacted! and I'm sure you will be hearing from them very soon:) also if a months back I did write another review, but the funny thing is was that it was deleted by the next day. I find that so funny because in that review I included that one time I was getting my nails done and there was a new girl that worked there, she proceeded to tell me that everyone there thinks I'm a bitch and calls me names. not very professional if you ask me. Keep in mind I was 17 at the time. Sounds like harassment on a minor too me. Place was dirty and unorganized. I went in for a shellac French manicure and a regular pedi. First off, she didn't take the color that was already on my nails off before she started the French mani. So I pointed it out and she kept going. Then I said I didn't want that other color showing like it did so then she "redid" my nails. She did a poor job and they look clumpy. The girl doing my pedi was super abrasive and rude. The polish she was using was old and was not drying right. When I shower her what was happening. She blamed me and asked what I did. Wtf! She redid it and again it was awful. I saw people coming in who had appointments having to wait long times. Not to mention you get charged more if you pay with credit card. I recommend this nail salon to everyone I meet, and typically their services are incredible. My nails always look perfect for a fantastic price. Today, I called to make an appointment because two of my nails came off. The woman on the phone told me it was no problem, to come in and they would fix it free of charge. Upon my arrival, after letting them know i needed a fix, they told me to sit down and wait. After almost an hour, I was told it was my turn and took a seat at a table. Another 20 minutes passed and one of the technicians began to fix my nails, then had me move to a different table to have another technician finish her work. 10 minutes later, another tech files my nails, without saying a word and not even taking a seat, making it feel like I was an inconvenience. After cutting my finger and making the shape completely different, she leaves, without polishing or saying anything. Another 15 minutes pass and a third tech applies polish and walks away. Finally, 3 techs later, a 4th tech finishes my two broken nails, both now with completely different shapes than the rest of my nails. I then mentioned the different shapes and wait time and was told better luck next time. I usually love this place and their work, so I am just disappointed with their services when all i needed was a simple quick fix. read more

WORST nail salon. I wish I could give them no stars. I went in during my lunch break to treat myself to New Year's Eve nails. All I wanted was a simple black coffin style full set. I should have known this place was a ripoff when the girl next to me was quoted $25 and I was quoted $35. Regardless, I gave them a shot. When my nails were done, I was so far from happy. My natural nail was showing under the acrylic and the paint was not properly applied. I had to get back to work though. I called the next day to have them fixed. They said they could get me in. When I showed up, they were telling me my nails looked fine! Omg. I wish I took a picture. They were AWFUL. They then told me they could only fix one of my nails. At this point, they were spending more time telling me my nails were fine rather than just fixing them. Finally, I just told them to take them off and I would like a refund. I mean, I only had my nails done for 24 hours. They told me they couldn't offer me a refund. I didn't care at this point. I would rather have my natural nails than the s**t they put on me. I got acrylics here and sadly it's two stars. It was super busy and even with an appt. had to wait 30 min. I would suggest going on a weekday and not counting on a reservation. My nail technician was April and she seemed to be in a hurry. Shes quiet and sweet but sadly my nails did not turn out well. The acrylic is lumpy and it's not fully on my nail. Best nail salon in the area! Trust me, I've tried them all. They always do a great job and use the best products. My favorite thing about Elegant Nails is they offer free basics designs (French tip, polka dots, stripes, etc.). It's a very small additional fee if you want a more complex design. Some advice though, come in with a design already in mind. They don't have any examples of designs in their shop even though they are constantly doing them. I do have one complaint, and it's because of this complaint I've tried every other salon in the area hoping to find a better one. They are terrible at honoring appointment times. When you call for an appointment, they will always say your requested day/time is available even if there are already lots of other appointments scheduled in the same slot. They obviously don't want to lose business by suggesting a different time. When you show up for the appointment, be prepared to wait 15-60 minutes. It can be incredibly frustrating. They are very busy (which shows how good and popular they are) so the wait can be quite extensive. I wish they'd figure out a better system for appointments. Regardless, I'll keep going despite this issue because this is the best nail salon on the northwest side of Denver. read more

They were super busy when I first got there which surprisingly I was happy about because it meant they had a well known name. I started going to Elegant Nails because it's close to my house and the prices are a little less costly with free nail design. I've gotten my nails done probably 6 or seven times and I kid you not, I've never gone the entire time between rebases without a couple of nails chipping on me. Keep in mind that I work in an office - not somewhere where I'm rough with my hands. I continued to go out of convenience and thinking they'll get it right one of these days. This last time my nails chipped after TWO DAYS. I went in to get them fixed and was told to come back in 30 min. I came back and waited another 10. FYI - there's usually at least a 15 min wait because it's small in there without a lot of nail techs. A few days later the same nails chipped again and progressively got worse!!! Went last week for a full set i asked for red with black hearts. I sat in the back by the sinks for about 15 minutes because they told me to wash my hands and go to station 7 i get done washing my hands and they had already sat someone else in my seat. Was walked past and ignored for 15 minutes while they were sitting people who had just walked in. The gentleman who did my nails was in a rush to get me out of his seat didnt trim my natural nails or even file them at all. And now within a week they are starting to peel off. I came in around 5, no appointment needed -- of course I did have to wait but they seated me within five minutes and started to work on my nails. My nails are perfectly thin, the paint isn't thick and the gem stones are placed so beautifully!
