Linda is such a superstar and I am so grateful we found her here in Spring Valley/La Mesa area!! We came in initially for brow threading which I was used to doing with another professional, and Linda definitely upgraded what I was used to!! I trusted her immediately and because she does so many different treatments I asked if she could help me with a root touch up and improve my color. I came in a little later for it with my mum, and Linda not only welcomed us both so warmly and with homemade snacks, but also did such an outstanding job, all whilst being so present and intuitive with the process. On top of that she's just the sweetest mother figure I didn't know I needed and I know she extends her motherly Love to her clients equally. Thank you Linda, I love you!!! I wish I could give her more than five stars. I was recently in Spring Valley for my bachelorette and really needed to get my eyebrows done since I didn't have time back home. When I found this spot, I walked in without an appointment, and she kindly took me in right away. I have been coming here for years now. I can always count on her to make my eyebrows look their best. I recently got brow lamination with a tint and they came out beautiful. My biggest thing is my eyebrow results with her are always consistent. I tell her I want just a cleanup, she does just a cleanup. She never tries to push her own agenda. My experience here was extremely welcoming despite coming in and assuming they accepted walk ins... I felt so bad!! I let them know I could come back at a better time but I was not turned away despite the fact. I went in for brow threading and was super happy with the results and service. She really took her time and made sure I was happy with the shape. I tend to tear up when I've gone to other places just due to some sensitively I have by my eye but No Tears Here! very gentle technique! 100% recommend! Just make sure to schedule your appointment before walking in!

Not disappointed and all the POSITIVE reviews were spot on. Linda is definitely the one to go to for finding your hidden beauty brows. Super gentle hands and friendly personality. Asked about my comfort and made sure that I was pleased with her work. She did not leave a hair astray and even offered to fill in my brows afterwards. Super hesitant, as I don't allow just anyone to touch my eyebrows. I was afraid of them being skinny, not listening to my concerns. BUT I absolutely recommend this place, Linda was super sweet. She informed me about where my eyebrows stood, what I need to do to work on their shape for next visit, and fixed them. She also sells good eyebrow powder, and a brush with it . I was also worried it was going to hurt, but absolutely painless. I thought she wasn't going to be able to get my stubborn hairs out, but she did. A girl with thick eyebrows , this is hard. I am so very grateful I found this place! I recently moved and have been looking for somewhere to get my brows threaded. I found this location in Yelp and decided to stop by on a Saturday. I waited less than 5 minutes and was out the door in less than 10! Linda did a great job with my eyebrows and talked me through what she thought was best for me. My experience with her was one of the quickest and least painful I have ever had. I honestly am so happy to have found a great eyebrow threader in this area. Can't wait to come back. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. I first spoke with Linda on the phone a few months back asking her what time they closed and what time I could come. She said no come now, it's been a slow day I'm closing early. I physically could not get there any sooner so I went somewhere else and was extremely happy. I decided to give Linda another try since they are so close to my house. She is rude and cold. She criticized the growth of my eye brows, I've been working so hard to grow out. I showed her a picture of how my eyebrows turned out from the other place, told her I wanted them to look the picture. She told he it couldn't be down and that they were fake eyebrows. I was not happy with her technique it hurt more than I have experienced from anyone else and not sanitary she held the thread in her mouth. Go to Awesome Brows 2522 Jamacha Road, El Cajon, CA 92019 instead, more professional and kind. She will even fill them in for free after the threading. read more

Open Sundays! Walk-ins are welcome and it wasn't too hard to find. It's in the same plaza as the library, Big 5 and Smart & Final. Plenty of parking. My GPS told me to turn right a little too early. read more

I've been going here for about 2 years, and it's one of the only places I trust with my brows. I stopped getting my eyebrows waxed because it was harsh on my skin, and just didn't look as natural. I love that it's family owned, and there are only 2 ladies who work there, so the service you get is consistent. Both ladies are awesome but I usually go to Ava on the weekends. She is sweet, gentle, and kind. It's also extremely affordable! Can't beat $10 bucks for an eyebrow thread! I'm usually in and out of there within 15 min, even if there's a wait read more

My first time here and I am IN LOVE! This place is right down the road from me. I've past it numerous times until one day I decided to look them up on yelp and I saw amazing reviews. Let me tell you, they have a 5 star rating for a reason! This is the best my eyebrows have ever looked. This was the first time I had ever gotten anything done to my brows ever. For the longest time I just told myself it would be pointless because my eyebrows are so fair. But I was so wrong. Linda did an excellent job and has completely change my mind on that. She even showed me how to fill them in naturally so I can always have great looking brows. She was very fast, and gentle - which is really important to me since I've never even plucked my brows before. I didn't know what to expect pain wise when going in, but it didn't hurt at all. I live in spring Valley so I recently searched for a place to get my eyebrows threaded & I found this place on Yelp & saw such great reviews. So I thought to try it out. Most of the time whenever I go somewhere else I hardly ever leave completely satisfied but GUUURL, Linda hooked it up! She was so sweet & did my brows just how I wanted them! It was only $10 to get them threaded. Also she gives out stamp cards so every 7th threading is free which I like a lot b/c you'll come back about every 2 weeks to get your brows done. I'm so glad I found a good place in spring Valley that's local to me that does such an amazing job with my brows! read more

After years of over-plucking, I let my eyebrows grow out for 10 weeks with the goal of letting an experienced professional reshape my brows. I searched for highly rated eye brow technicians and Linda from Elegant Brows caught my attention. Having never undergone threading, my mother graciously accompanied me, and thankfully a Monday afternoon proved to be the perfect time because I was seated right away. Linda explained the process before working her painless magic, which only took a few minutes. Afterwards, she showed me how to correctly apply brow powder and suggested a serum to encourage growth in my sparse brows. I will start applications tonight and hopefully see some positive results. Seeing how quick, painless and beautiful my results were, my mother decided to get her upper lip threaded. Only a few minutes later and we were ready to go. I must recommend Linda from Elegant Brows to anyone who wants an experienced professional with quick and gentle hands. I will definitely come back whenever I'm in town. Thanks Linda!! read more

For the longest they only had Linda working here whom is really great at threading. You don't even have to tell her what to do, she will shape your eyebrows to how they grow and your facial structure. They recently got a new girl, Eva. She is just as great as Linda, actually I think she's more gentle when threading and she is fast and good. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Eva & Linda are both really great. read more

By far the best place. I usually go up to Clairemont to eyebrows by Anita but I moved to spring valley so elegant brows is much closer to me. Went in today to get my eyebrows threaded and Linda did an amazing job I love the fact that she took her time to make them look amazing never in my life has someone done my eyebrows with such perfection. They always leave them too thick or not even but time is perfect and Linda did amazing and also you can beat the price I paid 10 and I usually pay 15 read more

I didn't win the raffle but the winner wanted a wax, nothing more. Reina's couldn't do this so she offered the certificate to me as she knew I really wanted microblading done. The winner told me the business had verbally approved the transfer-- as they should seeing as it was hers to do with what she pleased after winning! Moving forward..... so I buy this GC... I'm stoked! Next day I contacted Reinas to book, told them I was the one who purchased raffle ticket from winner.... Etc. Lady told me this was being offered by artist Nazzii. I requested her insta.. all checked out... and that very same day she had a cancellation! I was then told to shoot her a text of my brows before the appointment. I then text the photos to Nazzii and immediately she said she doesn't work on brows done by previous artists. Kind of weird since it's a SEMI PERMANENT tattoo that calls for touch ups every 2-4 years (depending on skin type, sun exposure, etc etc.). And In my case, it'd been over three years... ANYWAYS....that was pretty much it. No mention of corrective options, removal, or starting fresh. Just statement that she doesn't work over other artists TATTOO* (ahem-- I don't have tattooed eyebrows!) followed by a message stating that "Microblading is a natural individual hair stroke on natural brows". .....yes this is correct.... And your point is.....???? Pshh Her alternative offer: one brow tint. One brow tint. For a $600 certificate. Ya know... if terms and conditions were disclosed prior to the raffle....All would be fine. And come on ---The original winner couldn't even swap it for a basic brow wax (which is fine they only thread)..... but the fact I couldn't use it for the service it was issued for... no no no. And the business's solution was a single tint service worth maybe $20. In conclusion........Before booking, I'd suggest reading the review directly before mine on this page -- it appears to describe a very different policy about working over previous brow work. Make of that what you will. Zero stars if Yelp allowed it.

I had to change my review, sadly. After almost, if not over, a year of going to this place, I'm never going again. Despite the fact that the staff is very talented, I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone go to this place. Linda makes really uncomfortable, passive-aggressive comments if you don't go back to re-do your brows as often as she tells you to. I usually just grin and bear it and laugh it off, but this last time was the last straw. I'm a mom-to-be who works 3 jobs, 2 of which are in LA, so I don't have much spare time to waste of trivial things like eyebrow threading. This last time I went I was made to feel so shitty because I hadn't gone back in about a month, and the entire time Linda was threading my eyebrows she was groaning, dropping her hands on my face like she was just overcome with exhaustion at having the "arduous" task of doing someone's eyebrows, and making remarks like "this is a haircut, not eyebrow threading!" No one should be made to feel humiliated for putting their family first instead of their vanity and not threading their fucking eyebrows often enough. As I left, she told me "come back in two weeks. This wasn't funny". Like I purposefully decided to grow a forest on my face just to spite her. Save your money and go somewhere with actually friendly and talented staff. read more

I have been going to Linda since before COVID. She has transformed my once over-plucked, uneven, sad brows to a fuller, even-level set of beauties! Who knew that plucking can destroy follicles?!? Now Linda has expanded her salon and provides full-service hair, esthetician, and spa services. She has added several hair stations/booths and has a separate spa room for when privacy is desired or required.
