Parking here is relatively easy to find as the dedicated lot is spacious enough to accommodate a few dozen vehicles at any given time. Their hours are also quite reasonable as they are open Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 5:00pm while being closed on weekends. My most recent visit was during the morning of Friday 12/11/2025 at around 9:00am. I checked in one day prior on the My Health Online app through Sutter Health which was a very seamless process as they had a ton of open timeslots available. After entering the facility, you make an immediate walk to the right, sign-in, and wait (which was less than 5 minutes). And since this was for Lab bloodwork, I made sure they did a Lipid (cholesterol level) profile, comprehensive metabolic panel, prostate antigen test, and complete blood cell count. Once I was seen by a medical specialist, they checked my vitals (heart & blood pressure) and weight. Since I fasted 12 hours prior to coming here, I got a syringe in my left arm (which was just a slight "pinch") and was on my way. Total time from when I arrived to when I exited the building was less than 10 minutes. Overall, the front desk staff and nurses were all very friendly and accommodating. All in all, the "Sutter Medical Plaza Greenback Lab" was a fairly positive experience with no hiccups or issues. My rating, an above average four stars.

She's friendly has a way of making you feel very comfortable, and the best part is you only need to get poked once. They came out around 8:30, and said if we were signed up, we might still not be seen. But I was next. Many times they were not full, many times people were seen who had not checked in. I saw names called that were on the walk in list behind me, but I was next, of course they would see me right? I left at 1045. 4 hours into my Quest experience. I wanted to show my son that he should not give up and be patient. But then I was told again that they close at 11. A nice lady named Kenny? Was kind to my son, I was thankful for that I will choose somewhere else if I can. Quest has a monopoly on lab services in most cities. In mine, if you do not have Sutter health, or Kaiser who has their own lab, you are stuck with Quest. The only reason they take walk ins is greed. They are not here to take care of anyone, and their staff having to yell at everyone in the lobby all day long that they may not be seen is a joke. Dont take a waitlist if you cannot get to them. Your computers are strong enough to tell you how many you can take for the day. I really needed to get my lab work done today. Quest clearly does not care about anything but money, not even their staff.

I had a very disappointing experience at AIMS Urgent Care…read more Before arriving, I completed my registration and insurance information online because I wanted to be seen as quickly as possible. When I got there at 6pm, I was asked to fill out additional paperwork, and then I was told they didn't accept my insurance--even though I had already submitted it online and everything appeared to be approved. The nurse who took my vitals seemed rushed and inattentive. She had trouble getting my temperature to register multiple times. I overheard her tell a coworker that the thermometer wasn't working, but instead of using another thermometer or trying a different method, she recorded my temperature as 98°F even though I had been running a fever since the night before. That was very concerning to me. Both the nurse and the doctor were dismissive throughout my visit. When I tried explaining all of my symptoms, I felt like neither of them was really listening. The doctor spoke very quickly, spent very little time with me, and ordered a rapid strep test. While I waited, I could hear staff at the front desk laughing and talking while I sat in the exam room waiting for results. Instead of the doctor coming back to explain my diagnosis or answer any questions, someone from the front desk came into my room and simply told me I was free to leave and that my results would be emailed to me. I was told I would be prescribed antibiotics, but no one explained what medication I was receiving or discussed my diagnosis in person. I was also told my prescription would be ready in about 40 minutes, but it wasn't available until around 9:00 p.m. The following day, I called to request a doctor's note because I was still very sick. I was told they could only provide documentation saying I had been seen, not a note addressing work restrictions. Given my symptoms and diagnosis, I asked whether they could provide documentation supporting time off while I was contagious, but they declined. I also asked if they could email the note since I was ill and trying to avoid going out again, but they refused and told me I would have to come pick it up in person. Overall, I left feeling unheard, dismissed, and frustrated. My concerns weren't taken seriously, communication was poor, and the level of care I received did not meet my expectations. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in patient communication and attentiveness.

Communication with the phlebotomist will help to minimize miscommunication, provide clarification and eliminate unnecessary pokes. You are your best historian, so speak up about your veins, i.e. small, like to peek & retreat, rollover, needle type that has worked in the past such as a 'Butterfly', ecetera. With an appointment, being seen on time is the result, because Quest policy is to provide service to all scheduled appointments prior to servicing walk-ins. Waiting area is sufficient for mobility devices such as wheelchairs , walkers, canes and more. Blood draw area can be a tight squeeze for wheelchairs but the phlebotomists rearrange things to make access. With a scheduled appointment, an experience at Quest has the potential to be optimum. Oh, have insurance card or payment ready at the time of appointment or optionally, input health insurance information under the profile section in the MyQuest system when scheduling appointment. Anything to save time. Time is a priceless commodity.

When I got there, the kiosk was having issues locating my appointment and getting me checked in. A Quest Lab worker named Jazz, who I had just witnessed help numerous people before me, politely came over to help. After 2 unsuccessful times of trying to help walk me through confirming my appt at the kiosk, she took my printout (I had printed out my appt's QR code & appt info) and told me to just check in as a guest and that she would honor my appt and call me back in a few minutes. As a customer service manager, I can tell you this is EXCEPTIONAL Customer Service, and this employee needs to be commended as such so she is encouraged to treat more customers how she treated me.
