It happens only on the FIRST SATURDAY of every month from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the campus parking lots. It's basically a massive mix of vintage items, clothes, plants, vinyl, antiques, and local crafts/vendors without being ridiculously over-priced. Parking is free and there are a few food trucks on the side. Even if you don't want to buy anything it's a great spot for a Saturday stroll.

It's been years since we visited and decided to come back. We got lucky with parking but it can be chaotic. The parking structure and spaces are small and you will inevitably get blocked trying to leave or get in from people waiting for spots. There is a good mix of new and old here and the booths and stands are in general very organized and orderly. I also love the shaded covered over most of the parking lot, it provides some protection from the elements. Some highlights form our last visit: -There used to be a vendor here that sold really nice wool socks that were soft and thick. We weren't able to find him anymore, it was a middle aged man with a mustache, if anyone knows the name please shoot me a message. -A really nice guy was selling pokemon card repacks with cusotm packaging and my kids loved them! He was super nice and was giving away free pokemon stuff to kids. -2 booths had very clean vinyl records and cassette tapes. My brother enjoyed digging through these.

First, there's an older gentleman with white hair, a white mustache and beard, who was one of the friendliest individuals I have witnessed. There was an older woman standing by the entrance. He organized some chairs that were near the entrance and told her if she wanted to sit that she could sit there. She was surprised at this gesture and very grateful. As I shopped throughout the store, I came across all of his hard work. He was always busy, grabbing things from the back and stocking them in the front. And I have to get a shout out to the guy who was working the register. There was an enthusiastic, maybe 5 or 6 year-old boy talking about his dinosaurs to the cashier. The cashier met him with equal enthusiasm and it was just nice to see human kindness in action. They also have some pretty good finds here. I found some BALLY work pants, Danier Leather pants, and a pair of Rothy's. None of them were my size, unfortunately, so I didn't buy them. If there are any avid resellers out there or anyone who likes a good thrift find, this is definitely a place to stop.

This was quite the unfortunate experience. I was so excited to have a thrift and vintage day and I had a tote bag with me for all of my shopping and farmers market shopping since it's a sunday... I walked in and greeted the staff, and did not get asked to put my bag away. If a store had an issue with it right off the bat, I have no problem with a bag policy. An example is the recycling bookstore, they ask you to put your bags with them and that's completely valid since they preface and have a storewide policy. Not a "customer profiling" policy. I then had an unfortunate experience where the male staff was following me and then later asked me to put my bag in the front. There were white customers in the store with bags similar and smaller sized to mine. I complied respectfully but I did not see anyone else with their bag in the staff storage area. I had my laptop with me as well and the front where they made me put my stuff was unattended and near the front door. I tried to brush it off and shop because I truly did have a mission to purchase a couple of antique items, but I felt so absolutely disgusted and appalled by the staff and their microagression towards me. The funny thing is, either if it was because I was young or brown, you shouldn't assume someone is capable of stealing when they could be your next best customer. First and last time i'm stepping foot into this sad establishment. I'd rather support businesses that respect their customers. Never have I been treated like this in another vintage or thrift shop. Such a shame and such an embarrassment. I'll be posting a video to explain the rest of my experience on tiktok as well.

Just dropped off several large bags and boxes of items to donate (hello major spring cleaning!),…read moreand I have to give a shout out to Deshawn (I hope I spelled that right, initials on my donation receipt are DC). I've dropped off donations at this location countless times over the years, and this was the first time I had someone walk up to my car and offer to help me unload my donations and kindly point me to the correct bins for where to place things (electronics, household goods, clothes, bags, shoes, etc). He also asked if I wanted my bags back and if I needed a donation receipt. The last time I donated items here, there was a guy working who practically screamed at me "No hangers!" to which I responded, "Sorry, I didn't know." - I put the bag of hangers back in my car but he definitely didn't need to yell angrily. So this visit was 100 times better, thanks to Deshawn. Goodwill, I hope you acknowledge the great and kind employee he is! Friendly tip: I had fragile wine glasses, pint glasses, and ceramic mugs to donate and I wrapped each item in packaging paper and bubble wrap and placed them in an open box. I was told this was a great way to donate fragile items so they don't break. The back parking lot where the donation drop off is located can get tricky to drive in/out of if there are more than few cars back there. It's basically a small loop with about 6 spots in the center. And when people are walking back and forth from their cars and the donation bins and cars are trying to exit or pull in, it can get dicey so a little patience will help!

He opened another box of my items and pitched them through the air across the bins so everything went crashing and slamming into the bins beneath. This was due to my items not being sorted. I cleared out the home of a family member who had passed and explained this to him when I arrived and that I had several boxes of unsorted items. He also hurled insults at me about the items being dirty and nasty. Some of the boxes were dusty from storage but the items inside were predominantly new and still sealed. He took out his phone to film me when I responded to his angry accusations . I got into my car, said "Fuck you," and left.

My guess is that we have bought at least 80 separate things from the HCC since 2020. We have countless happy endings. Most recent was a maple dining table with 8 chairs for $349 + delivery. It replaced a smaller table and 6 chairs I bought from IKEA 40 years ago. HCC sold it in 2 days for $399, which paid me $200. So the new set cost me $149 + delivery! During the call, I was informed that they are no longer accepting consignments because the store is closing. What is frustrating is that no one contacted me to let me know about this change. Had I gone ahead with the pickup and the item didn't sell by June 21, I would have been responsible for picking it up myself. Since the original pickup cost me $100, that's money I would have spent for nothing. This is important information that customers should be proactively notified about, especially when it could affect their decision to consign an item. A simple phone call, email, or text would have prevented a lot of confusion and inconvenience. Very disappointed with the lack of communication.

First of all, don't come in, saying, "What's new?"…read more This shop is the flagship of Antique Row. To be honest, I don't think the term "Antique Row" exists. In fact, it might even be the director of "Training Day", I'm not sure, but there are four antique shops in a row. One big one, one small one, one medium one, and one that has a "Back in 15 minutes" sign permanently taped to the door. Anyway, this one is big. I'm not a huge fan, but it took me 1 hour 20 minutes to get through the whole store, which is well-organized and packed. Though to be honest, 50 of those minutes was the Playboy section. Those articles are long. Like I said, I'm not a huge fan, but I do like looking at big clunky lamps, politically incorrect Americana, lunchboxes, things with boobs, clocks, bookends, cookie jars, geographical postcards, things with ugly faces, salt and pepper shakers, three wise monkeys, things that light up, pre-1990 pop culture (especially old toys and games I may have had, 70's fast food glassware), and unique furniture pieces, especially if they have weird right angles or bartending functions. I don't like quilted stuff. I smell pee just thinking about it.

Their prices are reasonable. I ended up buying some California pottery, a framed floral print, and an MCM trinket dish. I'm looking forward to returning and taking another look around the store. There is a parking lot in the back of the building. Note: Some vendors have modern items mixed in with their antiques. A quick Google image search before you buy is a good idea if you care about the age of an item.

The furniture especially has been a pleasant surprise, with prices that are incredibly affordable. Like most thrift stores, it can be hit or miss, but that's part of the fun. I really appreciate that this place is part of a bigger mission and supports a cause that gives back to the community. That makes every purchase feel even better. The location is also great. There are a bunch of antique and vintage shops on the same side of the street within a couple of blocks, so it's easy to spend an afternoon exploring and hunting for treasures. Free street parking in the area is a nice bonus and makes it convenient to stop by anytime.

They do have a…read moreparking lot, that is small and made smaller by the fact that on the side of the building, they have the donation drop off area. Just maneuvering your way around the parking lot when people are also trying to drop off donations can be a nightmare, especially when people get rude. If you go during peak times, avoid the parking lot and just park on the street, saves you a headache. As of lately, I have been able to find really good deals here and by that I mean that new items are priced lower by Goodwill than what it was originally marked by retailers. Yes! As it should be. Since I am big on school/office supplies, I snagged so many supplies for over 40 percent off. Although I dont like trying on clothes in stores, the fact that they removed the fitting rooms is annoying. They do have a 7 day window in which you can "exchange" clothing. Think of it as a same day use store credit. You don't have to get another article of clothing, but you can get something else with the value of the item that you are returning. I got a top, thinking it would fit nicely, but no. I went back and got another top and no, it also did not fit, now I have to go back and exchange it for something else. Annoying that this is just for one top, I cant imagine getting several pieces of clothing and going through this loop. Lesson learned, no more buying clothing. All other items besides clothing is final sale. Staff is friendly, store is neat and organized.
