Going on six hours since my first call, called back in, I was told they were given my message, should be hearing back soon... 9 hours later....called in one last time for closure, told they were given my message...that's all they knew (the answering service). So 9 hours later, no call back...nothing...big fail for this place. Really? You can't call me back to say you can't make it over? Can't call back to say you're too busy? I called them and they sent a tech, who showed me how to reset, it was the actual the flashing light you had to press and hold for 10 seconds to reset, my old pump had a clear button on the side. they charged me 350 more for the visit. The pump never worked properly. The entire winter it kept shutting off every few days, eventually getting worse until it was shutting off every day. I called them again, they claimed it was the controller that was malfunctioning but they never changed that, which was a lie, it was attached to the pump and totally different from my old one, which had the button on the side, I had to pay them 350 for a tech to show me how to reset this new controller. He claimed it was irrelevant since it should still be under warranty. 3 months later I got a bill for 850 for changing the controller. I called and explained and they said they would get back to me. They never did. Instead they paid my service bill with money I paid for oil delivery, then sent me a bill for the same amount for oil delivery. all oil deliveries were paid in full the day after delivery. It's a lie and scam to get me to pay for a junk pump. When I try and call they hang up on me.

Patrick convinced us to go with a Kohler generator versus a Generac or any other brands because of the efficiency and after doing some independent research, I did not disagree with his assessment. Unfortunately, we've had some issues with the unit over the years, and this company becomes less and less visible with each and every time that they are needed. I would say that Kohler is the brand to go with but find another authorized installer and service company that handles Kohler, which is not this company. They are a one tech company with owners who are completely removed from the day to day.

It finally dawned on me that when I really need it to perform in an emergency it needs to work, and professional maintenance is essential. I reached out to Generator Power Solutions some years ago. I didn't know them nor was I sure of their reputation or their professionalism. I was lucky! They annually perform a nuts to bolts inspection, change oil & filter and make sure the machine is performing to specs and is ready to work properly whenever needed. Their office staff has always been pleasant, courteous, and professional and their techs have been top notch. Sue has serviced my machine for the past several years and has been great! She knows her stuff, takes her time and doesn't leave until she's satisfied that the generator is fully up to specs and ready to work if called upon. I couldn't be more pleased with this business! I wish all businesses were as dependable and competent as these folks, they have earned my unequivocal recommendation!
