This was a serendipitous encounter. We walked past Happy Appliances a few times and were hesitant…read moreto go in, as the store's exterior looked more commercially-oriented than for retail buyers and the online reviews were sparse. Don't let the exterior and lack of reviews fool you though, once you talk with them, you'll discover they really know their stuff and have some great deals. After further chatting, I also found out they do have a commercial sales team and real estate developers who buy 143 washers at a time don't write Yelp reviews. Happy Appliances has an incredibly-wide selection: from everyday names like Samsung to higher-end such as Miele and they can procure pretty much anything. John and his team worked hard to find specific models, such as a Bosch 800 series dishwasher, that we were searching for. From start-to-end, our team was very responsive to all follow-up questions via email and even with the pandemic supply chain issues, they tracked down and delivered all appliances within the quoted timeline and price--to a multi-floor walk-up nonetheless! Other retailers, such as Lowes, Home Depot, AJ Madison, and PC Richards were quoting 8-10 month backorder for some appliances. We got all of ours in three. Additionally, Happy Appliances (and its parent company: Happy Electronics) is an authorized vendor for all products we bought (did some independent research before purchasing), so warranty was never a worry. I feel like we discovered a hidden gem and we readily recommend them to our family and friends. As a matter-of-fact, I just went back to replace an old washer/dryer. Ask for John when you go. He's great and really down to earth.

Tim did the research on the top brand name appliances based on dimensions governing the tight gallery sized apartment kitchen. He offered me choices so I could compare and read the reviews. He was upfront about the delivery, installation and haul away costs. He was able to provide a Certificate of Insurance required by my building. Despite a glitch due to the building's aging plumbing, the delivery team was able to reschedule the installation of the dishwasher for a nominal extra fee. Everything fits in its proper place and is working. Very pleased with the selections. Tim is honest and provided great service along with reasonable pricing. I won't be dealing with big box appliance stores any more. Happy Appliances has won my business.

Mike knew what I was looking for and made it happen at a decent price. I always hated the pushy arrogant sales staff at other store's. I recently visited the PC Richard & Son Francis Lewis Blvd branch to purchase a new washer and…read moredryer solution for a very limited space in my home. I was assisted by Mario, who was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and truly exceptional throughout the entire sales process. After explaining my space limitations, Mario recommended PC Richard's $50 in-home assessment service, where a surveyor visits to take measurements before purchase to ensure the appliance will fit. I was interested in the LG WashTower, replacing my previous GE washer/dryer combo. The surveyor completed the measurements and advised that the installation would be tight but feasible. I returned to the store, and Mario expertly guided me through the purchase. He answered every question and concern thoroughly, never rushing the process. His professionalism and genuine connection with customers are exactly what great customer service should look like. We secured the sale and delivery date without issue. Unfortunately, the delivery experience started off terribly. The first installation crew arrived, looked at the space, and immediately said, "Why didn't you buy the same machine? It's not going to fit." I was surprised because I had specifically paid for an assessment from PC Richard's to avoid this exact situation. After bringing the LG WashTower into my home, one crew member began speaking to the others in Spanish, saying that the unit would not fit. He then stated in English, "We can't do this. It won't fit." I explained that a surveyor from their own company had measured the space and approved the installation. I asked whether this was truly an installation issue or simply a service issue. The lead installer paused and attempted to explain that I should never have been told the appliance would fit. While I was discussing the situation with Mario on speakerphone, the crew simply walked away, leaving without completing the installation or haul-away service. To make matters worse, they forged my electronic signature and marked the delivery as completed. Thankfully, Mario immediately stepped in and handled the situation with professionalism and urgency. Within an hour, he arranged for a second installation crew to come to my home. This is where the experience completely turned around. Jorge and Joel arrived and were outstanding from the moment they walked in. Jorge calmly assessed the situation, listened to what had happened, and immediately got to work. Watching Jorge and Joel work together was incredible. Their teamwork, professionalism, competence, and positive attitude were the complete opposite of what I had experienced earlier. Despite being a two-person crew instead of three, they successfully installed the LG WashTower and completed the haul-away service in approximately two hours. This review is intentionally long because customer experience doesn't end at the point of sale. A great salesperson can create a wonderful buying experience, but a poor installation can ruin it completely. I want to specifically recognize Mario, Jorge, and Joel for turning what could have been a disastrous experience into a positive one. Their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to customer satisfaction are the reason I will return to this branch for future purchases. As for the first crew, I strongly encourage management to investigate their conduct. Installation jobs vary in difficulty, and there is a significant difference between "can't do it" and "won't do it." Their behavior came across as unwillingness rather than inability, and forging a customer's signature is completely unacceptable. Thank you, Mario, Jorge, and Joel, for restoring my confidence and proving what true customer service looks like.

I didn't know the term either - I had to Google it. I asked 4 employees where their burner liners were located - nobody knew what they were. In the end, they didn't have them anyway. I also noted that they didn't have as many plants as usual. Perhaps its late in the season but still they use to have a lot, and I mean a lot, more. On the plus side, they did have an employee at self checkout to provide any needed assistance. Overall, this Home Depot is not bad, and if you need something, by all means, pay them a visit.

It first accord after washing our sheets. They looks like some sharp object would be in the drum and pull strands out of the fabric. We checked the drum, stroked over every inch with our hands, used cotton balls to see if anything stuck - nothing! I called customer service (we ordered our washer directly from LG). They told us to run the drum clean cycle 5 times in a row (that's 7.5 hours!) that should solve the problem. We did and the next load of laundry had the same problem. We called LG again, send them pictures as requested, were told they investigate and call back. They never did. Today was the 6th time I called and also send an email to the president. After telling them that I will write this review and post it everywhere I was asked by the supervisor if I use the right cycle to wash my laundry. I am 69 years old and know how to do laundry. Finally I was told he would pass it on to their service center which will contact me to find out if it is a manufactory defect. This goes on now for over 6 weeks. The service center contacted us via text and asked what are the defective parts - how am I supposed to know? The next message was they reach out if they have someone available. I would stay away from LG which is hard to say because we have LG everywhere from fridge to TVs but if something is wrong it is the worse customer service you ever experience.
