I've been getting electrolysis for a couple of months and I have seen great results. Theresa has been working with me to get rid of those unwanted hairs, and she has truly just been amazing. She makes sure that I'm comfortable and will adjust the setting as needed to be stronger or weaker (there's also numbing cream if needed). So I tried another place in the area, and wasn't impressed, so I tried again for an appointment, and think I've found with Janice's businesses one of the better electrolysis shops in ALL OF SOCAL. I believe Jackie worked on me. We discussed the pros and cons of various technology, and I found that her understanding aligned with mine on which electrolysis method(s) worked and were most efficient. She worked steadily and quickly, which is all I can hope for with electrolysis. I'm still reserving one star, as I originally had difficultly getting an appointment. I've reviewed Janice and her associates before, but my first review was one of the ones that got randomly filtered. However, I still feel the same. I have had 3 sessions here, after previously going through laser hair removal to no avail. The treatments here worked, and the hair treated has not come back. The staff work quickly and make you feel very comfortable. I saw Janice today...im must say I'm a fan. I have been getting electrolysis elsewhere and decided to try it based on the reviews and because it's closer to home. The salon has been there for 30+years and is very close to DTF. It's an odd plaza but the store front itself is nice. Janice is very patient and her technique is virtually painless! The plAce I went to before I found Janice , I could barley make it through an hour without clenching my fists in pain. So happy I found this place! I've tried everything for stubborn facial hair and nothing worked. I even tried laser hair removal and it just seemed to make it worse. Here, I am seeing great results. They save me at least 20 minutes a day in plucking and my skin is doing so much better with the treatments and their recommendations. Everyone is very nice and knowledgeable. The rooms are clean and serene with soft colors and gentle music playing. I have seen just about all of the electrologists there and they are all excellent. They also give you more than you pay for, willing to go over your time limit by 10 to 15 minutes, just to be thorough, without charging you -- amazing!
