I don't care how friendly you are, that's just effin annoying. yes, I have worked retail and understand. I am sorry. I just lost a pet and then went to the dentist for an intense cleaning I wasn't ready to go home to an empty house so.. I went to peruuuz the clearance section. Sometimes things make it into the clearance section that aren't actually on clearance so you have to be kind of careful. With my absolutely stuffed cart seriously... full of stuff, I pulled up to the checkout line. I waited an incredibly long amount of time because the checker was being absolutely delightful to someone who required a lot of assistance. The person in front of me commented to this checker how they have the patience of a God. I was about to say the same thing. I mean, she didn't even look put out. She was still just as friendly and just as helpful with the person in front of me. When I finally pulled up, I explained to her that I needed to be quite careful with what I purchased because I am broke let me tell you she was just incredible. She told me the original price and then discounted price, then explained how much of a percentage it was off Each item on clearance! THEY WERE FAST. She totally understood that I just couldn't buy things unless they were under a certain amount. I felt like I had a teammate --instead of someone making me feel ashamed or embarrassed, or that I was taking up too much of their time. She was fast, polite, super helpful, and incredibly understanding. Andrea, if you read this, you were the friendly person that I needed today and I appreciate you. Then, when I brought it back, the person handling the return gave me a skeptical attitude as if I was returning it after use rather than because it was defective. The issue was clear: air was flowing out of the wrong pipe, making the tank unusable. This was a product defect, not buyer's remorse or misuse. The whole reason I purchased online was to save time and avoid inconvenience, but instead it created more hassle and wasted time. This was a very disappointing experience, and I expected better customer service and a smoother resolution from Target. Target can do better.

    I love coming to the Best Buy, Mountain View location. Located in a small strip mall, this Best Buy…read morelocation definitely has a presence that makes it the focal point for this area. Located literally a block away from the freeway, this location. Also makes it convenient to get on and off if you ever need to go towards the Peninsula or the South Bay. Because it is a retail store, the services are vast and the value can range from medium to higher price points. It has everything from Home entertainment, to appliances, to computing. Literally, it has tech everywhere. This place will get you and your wallet in trouble, if you're not careful, lol. Finally, this is one of the last locations in the Bay Area that actually has a car/ auto installation bay. Meaning anything from speakers, car radios, and even alarms can be installed here. Although, it doesn't have a full staff working regularly in the installation space. The team that does work regularly, are very competent and professional. I do wish, at times, they could be a little bit more engaging. Especially, to customers who are unfamiliar with what the installation entails. but the rest of the store is fantastic and very friendly. As I stated earlier, it's one of my favorite locations to go to, and I will continue to go here if I'm in the area. Heck, I will drive out of my way to go here. Haha.

    I worked with the Magnolia Home Theater team at Best Buy Santana Row for a home A/V project from…read moreDecember 2024 through February 2025. Alfredo Villagomez was assigned as my point of contact. Prior to project payment, communication was prompt and responsive. During installation, I was advised to order more materials than needed (speaker wire, RG6 cables, power conditioner) as a precaution, with the clear assurance that any excess would be returned and refunded by Best Buy. Following completion, I personally returned all excess materials to the store, exactly as aligned with the Magnolia team. Fast forward to today -- it has been over 7 months and more than 15 calls, emails, and messages, with zero response or resolution. Alfredo has effectively gone completely unresponsive. I was advised to escalate to his manager, Austin Nicholson, but it has now been 2 months since escalation with still no acknowledgment or follow-up. This reflects serious organizational and accountability issues. At a minimum, excess inventory should be flagged in their systems -- yet no action has been taken. What's most concerning is the complete lack of ownership or effort to reconcile the issue. This is the first time I've experienced a large national retailer effectively keeping a customer's money without explanation or response. Very disappointing experience from a brand I expected far better from.

I haven't been back here in a very long time, and it slightly looks different inside. This is one of the nicer Stores, it's Two Stories. I went to pick-up my new Sony - WH-CH520 Noise Canceling Wireless Headphone - Black, I checked Inventory, it was the last one in Stock and in the Case here, so I had to get it. I'm glad that I got it.
