They do charge up to 250kW max and the best thing about these chargers is having so many businesses around. There is so much great stuff you can do/grab while your car is getting it's energy. The newly opened Bu Pastry Bar has great drinks & eats and the ever popular Mandarin Coffee Stand is another favorite. A few boutiques and clothing stores like Ross, plus if you walk all the way down to the end of the plaza there is a Walgreens. Overall, this Tesla Supercharger location is great if you want to also grab a coffee or walk to nearby errands, best for off hours. However the limited availability and unjust congestion overage fees usually keep me away.

A good close by window shopping experience is Nordstrom Rack and Dicks Sporting goods. Since I have a toddler to entertain, the best store is PetSmart but if you're also looking to find some fun things to buy there is also Party City close by. Farther walk is Best Buy and Ross which I prefer but having to rush back once charging is almost done might be a risk!

What made this location stand out from other EV charging stations was the 24/7 security and access to restrooms and a lounge area. As a woman charging late at night, the security presence made a huge difference. It made the station feel safe and monitored, which is honestly something a lot of late-night charging locations lack. The restroom access and lounge were also a big plus since charging can take a while. Unfortunately, those features are gone now. The restrooms are only available during "business hours," and the 24/7 security appears to have been removed. That completely changes the experience for those of us who charge at night. To be blunt, those were the things that made this station worth coming to. Without security and without restroom access late at night, it's really just another charger, and not necessarily one I'll go out of my way to use anymore. It's disappointing to see a location that used to feel safe and accommodating move in the opposite direction. I hope BP Pulse reconsiders these changes, because they mattered more than management probably realizes.

When did these magical chargers show up!? lol Now, no, they aren't made of pixie dust but I didn't know one existed so close to the Amazon store. I'm always going there to return stuff so this location has suddenly become quite helpful. Plus, it's in a free lot unlike a couple others I know in Pasadena. When I went, they still had a good amount of stalls open but it quickly filled up. They have 16 Up to 250kW max spaces so a larger small lot. Midnight to 8am is $0.39/kWh significantly cheaper than the $0.62/kWh usual pricing. Important to note - no dedicated bathrooms. It gets the job done and location is proper.

There's no parking attendants in the pit parking at all, so if it does get fisted and full, you probably won't know until it's too late and you'll definitely be circling a lot. I remember WAY back in the day when PMX used to be here and that was my experience going around the Paseo, but I guess nowadays, the only reason I'd be here is due to Cat Con or if I ever wanted to, Anime Pasadena. No matter what you do, unless you're super lucky somehow and can read signs, you will have to pay for parking or if you're okay walking from super far away. Currently, the Paseo is home to these businesses: -Regal Theaters -Panini Kabob Grill -Bath and Body Works -Equinox (lol) -DSW -Starbucks -Wushiland -Yard House (perfect for anime cons) There's also some jewelry stores, a book store, I think, the antique mall, and more stores I guess for people who live nearby. There's way better options in other parts of Pasadena that don't cost as much to park at. Unless I really have to, I wouldn't have to go out of my way to go here, more enjoyable parts of Pasadena with more dining and shopping options for sure.

I've only had my car a few months so I'm no expert in the fastest stations but this usually takes me about 45 minutes for a fill here. I mentioned getting coffee above. There is so much within walking distance of this supercharging station which makes it very convenient. Grab a drink or some coffee and come back to a charged car. Or sit in your car writing Yelp reviews like I am right now. WIthout validation, the lot will be $1.50 for under 30 minutes or $3 for 60 minutes - so get that validation somewhere! This is a huge parking garage with a row of back to back chargers on the top rooftop floor.

Most of the time the ice cream is cheaper than that of Whole Foods, etc for the same product. I find random deals. Last time I was there, some hummus was only a dollar and change. It is the same size as other grocery stores that charge $2-4. The small portion salmon really comes out well when you cook it. But you do have to be careful if you do self checkout. One time, I scanned the 30% off sticker. Not only did it charge me for 30% off the sticker but it also charged me for the full price. If I was not one to look at my receipt, I would've been been charged 170%. It is sad that this location is closing next week. The last time I went, I heard the last day is 03/13. No word on what's next but one possible scenario is Whole Foods moving in. We shall see... If you want to check it out, you only have a few more days.

He came to my house to give a quote for a job I didn't use him for. 3. He came to my house one additional time (and now last time), to give a quote for a subpanel install outside. Within a few minutes of the third visit, after observing unrelated electrical work he didn't perform for me, he uttered something to the effect of "I've come to your house 2 or 3 times now and given you a quote, and you don't use me. I'm not going to provide a quote without charging 2 hours of labor, to measure the distance of the cable runs". On its own, a ridiculous statement which no other electrician has asked of me, as I have had other electricians bid for this job already that have no issues with taking out a tape measure and providing an estimate within a few minutes of being onsite. At the end of the day, I invited Roobik to my house in good faith, to provide an estimate for what will amount to several thousands of dollars of work, and rather than provide a quote, I got lectured and instructed to get a quote from the other electricians that have worked on my house. There are many electricians/contractors that aren't going to chastise you for not sending every job their way, I recommend you find a different electrician as this last (and final) interaction was baffling, unprofessional, and uncalled for.
