This had nothing to do with the new screen so it would have been fair if the team at Auto Acoustics had said that they weren't experts in phones and recommended my parents go home and do some research and call if my mom couldn't solve it herself. Instead they continued working with my parents, doing some online research themselves, and patiently and politely making good suggestions and listening carefully (I was on the phone so I could hear the interaction) until they got everything working and they made sure my mom understood how to use the new setup. I am grateful for their help since I live in another state and can't be there in person to work with my parents. A gentleman working was standing outside eating a donut and drinking coffee on a car and completely ignored me. When I asked what time they opened for inspections, he told me 10:00 a.m. and turned his back to me. I returned at approximately 10:20 a.m., and the same gentleman saw me and ran toward one of the back buildings to avoid and ignore me. I went inside the main building and asked a female employee if someone was available to perform an inspection. I was told that someone would be available in 20 minutes. I returned again at 11:15 a.m. and asked a male sitting at the desk if someone was available. He responded very flatly and dismissively that he was the person who performed the inspections, he was busy, and inspections were not their priority. If inspections are not a priority at this location, customers should be told that upfront rather than being made to repeatedly come back and wait. I chose this location because I recently had surgery and needed somewhere close by, so I was especially disappointed by the way I was treated. I understand that businesses get busy, but there is no excuse for being rude or dismissive toward a customer who is simply trying to get a basic service. I will never return to this location, and based on my experience, I would not recommend it to anyone looking to get a vehicle inspection.
