I had a kind of knotty problem - a GFCI that indicated a fault (not a defective GFCI - replaced it with two new ones), but there was nothing wrong with any of the rest if the circuit. I made a claim Friday evening through the First American Home Warranty web site. I was surprised to get a call Sunday afternoon, setting up an appointment for 11 am - 3 pm Monday. The two electricians arrived about 2 pm and had the problem fully resolved within 15 minutes. They were personable and really seemed to appreciate me as the customer. We had an issue with 4 outdoor outlets and a doorbell. Our home warranty was contacted and we were assigned Electrical Service Professionals. The technicians that came out to our home in May were only at our home maybe 15 minutes and made it seem as if it was a easy fix that we could have done. Well today we went to use the outlets and once again they do not work. As far as, the doorbell the automatically told me it was a Ring Doorbell issue without taking a look at the doorbell. We have contacted our home warranty provider and we have to pay another $85.00 service fee for a company to come out. I requested that they do not send anyone from Electrical Service Professionals. We're not looking for a quick fix we wanted the issue resolved. read more

They were even thoughtful enough to wear booties in the house while working... This company is horrible. I was given them thru my home warranty. My doorbell broke - which was covered on my warranty. These two techicians came out and could not fix it so they ordered a new one. They installed the new one and I paid them $75 for a service call. 3 months later the doorbell does not work. They only warrant their work for 60 days! DO NOT USE THEM! Then on another issue, I had a switch for my ceiling fan and light on my porch. It was broken and covered under my warranty. They came out and could not fix this either. Don't waste your time or your money with them. Get a REAL electrician for your problems. If they can't even fix a doorbell and a light switch I shudder to think what they do for any other electrical problems you may have. VERY SCARY!!!!!!! read more

I had these guys come out with my warranty company. They walked around my house checking things that weren't part of the problem, told me "oh no, we don't go into attics" and sent the resolution to my warranty company that the problem was due to "nails driven into walls hanging a mirror or pictures." The only problem is that I don't have 1 picture on any of the walls in the house. The warranty company agreed that this is the reason for the denial of service, so here I sit in the dark. Check has been cashed from them and the warranty company and I still have no resolution. Thanks for taking my money, I hope others read this before they hire them. read more

After a new hot water heater was installed, it still didn't work and Devyn, the plumber stated that he would contact the warranty company for a electrician to come out and assess and repair. I was out of hot water for about a week, and not happy. ESP came, and was understanding giving me immediate access to hot water. They did have to order a part to make the final repair, but they did that and in a week all was repaired, quickly and satisfactorily. I appreciate all of their help. I had reported several light fixture problems to our American Home Shield (AHS - insurance) service, and they assigned Electrical Service Pros to come check/fix. They phoned very quickly to set an appointment, and came out right on time. Phoned again when they were on the way. Very courteous and very much appreciated. They replaced the non-functioning switches. Changed out some other parts in the basement fluorescent units and got them working again. Told me exactly what any extra parts and charges would be. One light could not be repaired, so they sourced a replaced fixture, called back with estimate, then returned today to finish the job. Really polite, professional and nice. Father/son team. Good with my dogs too (one of which can be intimidating). If I need any electrical work in the future - these guys will be the first ones I call. read more

Better providers to choose from! My home warranty sent them to repair a ceiling light in my dining room. They got it to work until they left but would not come back without a $100 charge. They said my warranty didn't cover fixture repair. If that was true, they should not have come in the first place! AHS is investigating but I hired another electrician and he fixed the light.
