Hands down, the best tanning salon I've been to in a very long time! The staff is absolutely amazing--so sweet, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. You can tell they truly care about their customers, and the prices are definitely worth it for the quality of the tan! And can we talk about the fact that they open at 8 AM?! As a mom, that is a game changer! You can drop the kids off, head straight in for the best tan, and start your morning feeling amazing read more

I have been coming here for a long time, and I've always had a wonderful experience. Lori, the owner, and all of the staff are so kind, friendly, and welcoming. Such an amazing experience with Electric Tan!! It was my first time ever getting a tan and all of the staff has been great at explaining everything every time I go in. They are really nice and welcoming, very informative and put my worries and questions at ease. They explain the products, tanning beds, weekly specials, packages, and pre/after care to have an amazing tan. It's great they have all the products needed to have that amazing glow, and it smells wonderful every time you go in. Love going back!!! read more

My fiancé and I decided to come here to get a base tan before our wedding and honeymoon. The women here are so kind, helpful, and understanding. As someone who hasn't tanned in years they made us feel comfortable and at ease. Lori and Kristi gave the best advice and truly helped us get to where we wanted to be. I trust them with the process and it worked great. Definitely recommend for all your tanning needs! read more

Amazing customer service, the workers are so kind and welcoming !! Such a fun vibe 10/10

I use Electric Tan to help start a base tan in late spring. Each year I return (not sequentially as I'm not a regular tanner) I'm still so happy to be back. Clean salon, friendly, helpful staff and great prices. I'm never pressured into buying more than I need and they seem genuinely glad to have your business. Shout out to Michelle and Nora who are both so sweet. read more

The ladies are super nice! It's a cute little spot. Parking isn't the best since it's also by a gym so just plan time for that. I did not like my spray tan and would not recommend that (to no fault of the employees there. I've tried various spray tanning beds and Mystic is good, but I didn't like the results I got from this one compared to the Mystic Spray Tanning Beds I've been used to but can't seem to find anymore!). I'd definitely be back for regular tanning though and absolutely recommend checking Electric Tan out. read more

New-ish to the area, needed sun-kissed skin! Electric Tan is meeting my needs! I love the mid-level, stand up tanning bed. Everyone is so helpful and cheery. The salon is very clean and ALWAYS smells good! Prices are fair and I even got a holiday discounted package on Memorial Day weekend. Give them a go! read more

I've been tanning since I was 16 well into my 50s now this is the best tanning salon I have been to they have just recently added red light therapy and I started using it and it's amazing. I highly recommend anyone to go here. It's very very clean owners friendly as well as her employees great place go check it out read more

Michelle at Electric Tan in La Mirada is a total tanning wizard. This woman knows everything there is to know about getting that perfect sun-kissed glow without the sunburn. She gave me the lowdown on the best times to tan, the optimal lotions to use, and even how to avoid those dreaded tan lines. Her energy is as bright as the bulbs in those tanning beds. If you want to level up your tan game, Michelle's your go-to gal. Highly recommended! --- Bask in that five-star glow! read more

Great service with all staff members especially Michelle. Very helpful to determine best choice.

I'm updating my review (see below) not only because it's been a while but because I have been so super impressed with the way things have been handled at Electric Tan! My first review still stands... firmly stands! But I've got a few things to add.... So, sometimes in the winter months, I don't want to tan every day. Kind of stinks to have to stop my membership and start over again in May or June. Well, that's not the case! I can put it on hold for $5/month and continue to have the same pricing as I've always had per month once I start back up, rather than having to sign up all over again with a new contract. Then those $5 I paid into the hold get to be used as credit for upgrades, etc! FANTASTIC!!!! This just proves that there is amazing customer service and love for their brand. The same employees are almost always there, some for years! This also proves that there's something to say about this wonderful place. Electric Tan, you are definitely a ray of sunshine!!! My Original Review (2017): Tanning can be expensive, so no matter where you go it will cost you a pretty penny. (unless it is in the God given sunshine).... Prices at Electric Tan are very comparable to other spots and I think even may be even more reasonable. Plus it is the only long-standing tanning place around! Others drop like flies. The secure feeling of purchasing a membership here is worth it! You know they aren't going to just close up shop and run off, Electric Tan is a stable, established store that seems to not be going anywhere soon. Thank you for this peace of mind!! I have been a member here, off and on, for many many years and I'm always welcomed back with a smile. Most of the long-term help here is very friendly and greet me by name on each and every visit (even if it's been weeks or months!) Electric Tan is always offering specials and deals, they even have some daily specials posted inside. You can earn upgrades fairly easily and discounts on products just for checking in on their rewards system. Very customer friendly. The salon itself is spotless and smells great always! They run a tight ship and it is clean and fresh every time you walk in. From the bathroom to the beds, you will receive top-notch cleanliness. Great job!! Thank you for always being awesome! CHEERS!!! read more

Moved right around the corner and have gone to Electric Tan two times now, good experience both times! I like the mystic tan, they have multiple levels + scents and undertones you can add. My tans have both lasted about a week and a half. More affordable than other places I have tried - I even signed up for the 10 pack spray tans which brought the price down overall. The only thing I wish they had is the little things you can put on the bottom of your feet so they don't get all the extra spray tan on the bottom, but this is minor! read more

I've been coming here for a little over 2 years. The owner, Lori, is so kind and friendly. Making your very first visit easy and smooth! All the girls that work here are friendly and very helpful knowledgeable. This tanning salon is clean and they sanitize each bed after use. They offer a good range of products, tanning lotion, after lotion, and sample packets. read more

Just started tanning here. Everyone that works here is great the beds are good. It's always clean and has a friendly environment. The only thing I don't like is the hours they are not very Busy nurse and mom friendly. So at best I can tan on the weekends if I'm not super busy but at that their weekend hours are horrible too. This is the only tanning place close to me besides planet fitness. but other then the crappy hours it's a nice place just wish I could go more for the money I spend a month there read more

I've been to this location twice during My visit, this is after not tanning in a salon for many years and I had a great experience both times. Today it was Rae and I'm not sure the name of the brunette from this past late Sunday afternoon but both of their customer service was outstanding. Both gals were very patient and extremely helpful in answering My questions regarding the difference between the 3 different options they have. The quality of the beds are also really good. I did the "mid" and they have similar specials on Sundays as they do on Wednesdays. A must check out if you're into salon tanning! Most Latinas don't really go or like to admit going to tanning salons. read more

Second time there and I love it. All the ladies are so nice and friendly! They make you feel welcomed.

Went in earlier this morning because I saw they had a special, and I was so impressed!! Christi at the front was so informative and helpful since this is my first time she showed me which service would be the best for me as a newcomer. I loved the results, loved how clean and welcoming everything was. I'll definitely be getting a membership! Thanks for everything! :-) read more

I've been coming here for over 2 months and it's always super clean. Lori has your room ready to jump start and go! Fabulous! I'm sorry I haven't yelped this sooner I totally forgot but was reminded when I just received a 20% off coupon because I signed up for their email club. I came her before a trip to Vegas last month and desperately needed a tan so I opted for a quick spray tan. I want to say her name is Jordan, the sales associate who worked there who had helped me. Short girl curly brown hair about 19/20 ish. Anyways she was amazingly informative. She literally talked for about 15-20 minutes prepping me on everything before I got the tan and how to do every thing correctly. She recommended a cream to put on before you tan to make sure you get an even coat so I figured I would try it it was only like $5. Tan takes about 20 seconds in total front and back you go naked into a booth and then wipe off. Shower and exfoliate before you go it helps makes it look softer and more even. I never looked streaky or orange I did level one and it made me a really nice color. I am definitely going back here for my next fun occasion!! read more

Electric Tan - Such a pretty tan!! - Tanning Near Me - La Mirada, California

This place is ok. Too pricey in my opinion. I called in for a mystic tan on a Monday and I New it was the special. But when I called in the lady quoted me the regular price. I think she just wanted to get one over on me. When, I used the mystic tan it's the old machine. It didn't dry right and it left me streaky. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. But it's the only one around. So I may be back. read more

I love this place! Really friendly and knowledgeable staff, super clean facility, and always get me in in an acceptable amount of time with little to no waiting. Also, they have a variety of beds and stand-ups to choose from, as well as a leg bed (which I'm using as we speak!) and sprays. Highly recommend!! read more

They also helped me pick which 2 free upgrades I should use since I signed up this month. Thank you again McKenzie and Rae!! You guys were awesome read more

I haven't been tanning in almost seven years, but I needed a quick tan before an upcoming Vegas trip. I used to come to Electric Tan back in the day and I did a month to month membership plan. It was nice because they automatically billed you and you didn't have to worry about it. I came in today after printing one of their coupons off their website. The coupon was good for 7 tans within 7 days for $15. When I went in, the girl at the front was super friendly. The owner was there and we talked for a little bit about lotions. It didn't feel as if they were trying to sell me on anything, but more like a conversation with a friend. I ended up purchasing a sample of lotion for $8. It smelled so good that I'll probably purchase the $45 bottle at some point. read more

I would have to say electric tan is the best tanning place I have ever been to. Their packages, daily specials and monthly rates are something that other salons can't compare to. Their staff is very welcoming and the owner is nothing short of amazing. I have been coming here for about three years to get tan for stagecoach and every year I am surprised when I am greeted walking through the door by name! They take their time to explain the beds and take the time to listen to what you want from your tanning experience. Overall, the best I can ask for and that's the reason I come back year after year. read more

Best tanning salon in Orange County. This is not, low end tanning bed ! They offer a variety of tanning options. Low pressure beds, mid pressure beds, high pressure beds also mystic spray tan. Lori at the front desk always greets you with a smile. She also has the knowledge of helping you pick the right package that best fits your needs. Also her experience of knowing which bed best fits ( first time client's, or for those of us who have not ran in a while ) She helped me decide on the proper amount of time. I'm a senior & have a farmer tan from morning walks yet my belly is Lily white. Nothing worse than getting a pink belly ! She started me with 4 minutes, it took me longer to put the lotion on ( LOL) working on my base is coming along. Long story short, take the time to talk with her and you will have no regrets. Beds are very clean & well maintained. Enjoy your time at Electric Tan & don't forget to use Yelp discount. read more

Theres always been something taboo about guys going to the tanning salon unless you live at the Jersey Shore where it seems to be a religion. But if you don't have time to go layout at the beach or want an awkward farmers tan from playing golf or riding your bike, this place is a quick fix. This place is super clean and great customer service. Plus there's nothing cool about being pasty white or looking sick, everybody feels better with a little color. perfect kick start before summer. Highly recommended from someone who doesn't leave a lot of reviews. read more

I absolutely love this tanning salon!!! All of the employees are super sweet and so helpful. The beds are amazing, clean and have all worked great! The front is always very clean and inviting. I've been coming to electric Tan since 2009. It is always immaculately clean, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the equipment is great. When I first started tanning here I only used the mystic and had great results getting instantly tan for a weekend event. Now I use both the high and mid pressure beds. The high pressure is my favorite because you get bronze color without redness and you feel much tanner after just 1 to 2 sessions. I've tried alot of other tanning salons and even though electric Tan isn't the most convenient for me i always end up coming back here. read more
