On the day of the job, Eddie and Ricky arrived on time. When they got started, they noticed a critical safety issue: the main line installed by the previous homeowner was not up to code, and it was a safety hazard. They gave me an updated quote, which I accepted, to replace the main line as part of the job. The work was done in a couple of hours, and SDG&E replaced my meter the same day. They replaced the main panel, fixed in wall wiring issues for old wires and breakers that would short out bc it was too much on one circuit (for example the hair dryer being used in a bathroom would short out the breaker if someone used the microwave....sigh). They installed outdoor electrical to both a hot tub and a free standing island kitchen bar. Both of these projects were logistically difficult due to my recessed yard down a flight a stairs and my breaker box panel at the other end of the house and upstairs. Electrical work is not cheap but I see why. Theses guys were fairly priced. Not the cheapest but not the highest prices. Communicated well both prior to appointments and during the work to ensure I understood what needed to be done. I hope I dont need more electrical work but if I do, will use them again..
