I reached out to Rudy for a quote on replacing a bunch of recessed lights. He came back with a quote which I thought was reasonable. Came on time within the scheduled appointment. Had a few more lights to replace than originally planned and he took care of it. He was careful with not making a mess and also cleaned up afterwards. Friendly and honest, would reach out for any electrical needs in the future! read more

I have used Rudy several times over the years. He's honest, trustworthy, and very knowledgeable. From installing, recessed lighting, installing Ring cameras, to a complete panel upgrade........ My home here in D.B still had the 100watt panel since the house was built in 1987. these are no longer up to latest code. Rudy handled all the permits, and the entire job took just 2 days from start to finish. My power was off for only 8 hours during the process. He has over 40 years of experience, and his prices are very reasonable. Great quality work.... Thank You for a great job, Rudy. Last thing he's very busy and sometimes will not answer the phone, texting him is also an option...Leave message he WILL respond. read more

I have confidence that everything was done correctly and up to current code. I have had mixed success with Facebook referrals but have no concerns with Electech, they are absolute professionals. To date, he has completed 6 jobs for me and counting. 1. Kitchen Island Outlets 2. EV charger 3. Circuit for Electric Oven 4. Recess Lighting 5. Replaced garage service panel and installed outlets and lighting throughout the garage on dedicated circuits 6. Exterior Light and outlets for holiday lights. read more

Rudy was very helpful and knowledgeable with our requests to install exterior flood lights, add new outlets to more convenient locations inside the house, and set up a light fixture for our backyard. Our home was built in 1946, so there quite a few challenges, but Rudy never seemed bothered by the extra steps it was going to take. Overall, I am grateful we found such a reliable electrician with tons of experience! read more

Where can I start, this company is old school type of company, trustworthy and fair two qualities that make any business grow. Rudy experience and customer service surpassed all our expectations. We were looking to get our motion lights fixed and install our outdoor security camera powered by a solar panel. I called around and found Electech on Yelp. Rudy was unavailable, however, he assigned Ishmael to come out to assist us and he did a fantastic job. We communicated via phone/text and then he was able to start the job the very next day. Ishmael was friendly and very knowledgeable in his line of work. He was able to fix our motion lights, install our security camera (with solar panel mount), and answer all my additional questions. It has been a few months and everything is working great! I highly recommend Electech if you're looking for professional electricians at a reasonable price. Ask for Ishmael! He will take care of you. *5-star service* read more

Came out for an estimate on two projects. Seemed to have an idea of one way to do each project and would not entertain alternatives even something as simple as expanding a single switch plate to allow for two switches. After consulting with my other contractors I left a follow up message requesting a quote for the other way to do the primary project (meeting the requirements of my other already hired and experienced contractor) and never got a call back. ******** I don't see how to reply to the owner directly, but it was Rudy himself who came to give the estimate. As I never heard back and did not enter into a contract, I did not keep any additional records or proofs read more

I would highly recommend Rudy from Electech for all of your electrical needs, especially if you live in Diamond Bar or any of its surrounding cities. All projects were completed according to current city/state codes and in a careful, thorough, and professional manner. Here is a brief list of services that Rudy performed: Installed a bathroom ventilation fan (with attic exhausts to push the steam out of my house) Separated my bathroom switch in order to isolate the ventilation fan from the main light Repaired several sockets throughout my house that were loose Replaced my Electrical panel from 100 to 200. Another reason for why I would recommend Rudy is his massive network of business connections. Since he has worked near the Diamond Bar area for decades, he has formed strong relationships people that you will need for other home renovations. For example, he has great recommendations for people that can patch drywalls and stucco (which are things that all home renovations will have to deal with). He also seems to have connections with local city inspectors (which helps the homeowner with doing projects according to local codes). On a personal level, Rudy was a wonderful person to chat with. He is very personable and showed patience during my 100 trivial questions. Hope this helps! read more

I am a member of my city's group on Facebook. I needed electrician services for several tasks around my house so I inquired there first. I like to support my city and hire local, when possible. Rudy came highly recommended from that group so I contacted him. I was also glad to read all the positive reviews, here at Yelp.com Rudy and I exchanged several emails for a few days to iron out the details of my project. During the email exchanges, he made some recommendations. All the work I needed done was an improvement so there was nothing urgent that needed immediate attention. We picked a convenient, future date to start the project. I needed the following done: 1) Move porch light from the side wall to the ceiling, right outside the front door 2) Install ceiling fan with light in the home office 3) Install ceiling light in the second bedroom 4) Install AC plug in the attic for that occassional need when I go up there. 5) Last but not least, install an attic fan to keep it during the upcoming summer months. BTW, having an attic fan will reduce the need to run AC during the summer months. Rudy arrived promptly, actually 15 mins before the agreed start time. I also met his helper, Ismael who was there to assist with the workload. Both Rudy and Ismael work well togther. I laughed often from listening to their banter. By late afternoon, all tasks were completed and everything exceeded my expectations. Rudy is a hardworking electrician who aims to please. His prices are fair and I am thrilled to recommend him whole heartedly for all your electrical needs. Just call him. =) I now have a go to guy for all my future electrical needs. I plan on contacting him for additional work at my house as well as my parents house. Thank you !!! Rudy and Ismael for all your hard work. It is greatly appreciated. read more

For my electric vehicle, I needed a 50 amp circuit and outlet installed about 30 feet from my panel. Rudy came out, and provided a couple options and reasonable estimates. Rudy did a great job . He did a above and beyond our expectation!!! He was there to do my ceiling LED light. End up doing more electrical job. The price is super affordable. I end up adding more job on top of what i want originally just the ceiling light. It did not cost me a lot for all the job he did. He is kind and understanding. Accommodate my hour I'm available. Wonderful guy highly recommended. I will try to find more electrical job for my house I do not want to loss connection its so affordable I do not think other contractor or handyman will do that price. Thank you Rudy. Watch for Blue Truck ElecTech driving around Diamond Bar CA if you need help. I sure will call him again. read more

I'm highly recommending ElecTech, Rudy the owner, for electrical residence and commercial work. As many of us know, when we need to get something fixed you want someone who is highly recommended, competent, conscientious, professional and a friendly personality that you'd want working on your house. Rudy's da man! Rudy was on time for my appointment, provided a professional and detailed quote that was emailed the same day. After a couple comparisons, I believe ElecTech's quote was a reasonably priced for upgrading my electrical panel from a 100 to 200 amp. I chose a commercial grade electrical panel that he has over a couple decades of experience installing. He added a couple convenient outlets in the garage for a security camera and garage door opener, an additional switch for a bathroom fan, a switch for outdoor lighting (used a deeper switch box to house the electrical wires properly), two garage lights and an outlet for an electric vehicle. He took the time to walk me through the details of the projects from start to finish. The work, listed above, was scheduled, then the actual work was completed in only two days. Conscientiously, Rudy obtained the initial permit, then coordinated with the city inspector to be present during the first and final inspection. I didn't need to be present because Rudy was there to make sure everything went smoothly and in compliance with city regulations. Regarding the electrical panel, he does not replace the stucco and paint. He also does not patch the cutouts in the drywall to run the extra line for the bathroom fan switch. But he made clean cuts in the drywall and replaced the drywall cut outs for minimal drywall patching. Rudy sticks to what he does best, which is residential and commercial electrical and leaves the other stuff to homeowner to save a few dollars or another contractor. Well, Rudy helped coordinated with a reasonable and quality contractor, Victor, to finish the stucco, drywall and paint in a timely manner. By the way, make sure you know the name and brand of your paint color. I was extremely satisfied with Rudy and quality contractor's work. In the past, I haven't had the best experiences with contractors or the like working on my fixer upper house. So, it was a pleasant surprise to have Rudy work on my house. To me and my wife, Rudy is just a quality person and we had a positive experience, start to finish with ElecTech. Again, we highly recommended Rudy as a quality electrician. read more

Rudy is the best. He was able to help me upgrade my main breaker box and did clean work. His assistants were great. All knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves. He found me a guy to re-do the wall and work on my hvac at the same time. If you want efficient, and clean work that the city inspector likes the work and knows this guy so he will clear your work and get Edison up to your house to check everything out quickly this is your guy. He's pleasant and nice which counts in my book, also. I'll send before and after pictures later so you can see how good the work is even with the plaster guy who needs to waterproof the surrounding area of the box. read more

A few months ago in February, our electric panel burned out and melted. Yes, we were very lucky it did not start a house fire! We called Rudy, and he provided a quote and some education on electric panels. Who knew there were so many steps in getting an electric panel replaced? He did professional, clean, and timely work. AND he facilitated the city approval and Edison inspection approvals. I'm sure we would be sitting in the dark much longer, if it wasn't for Rudy quickly securing the approvals. We now have a beautiful new and upgraded electric panel. :) read more

Rudy did a great job replacing all my fluorescent fixtures indoors with led fixtures I had purchased. Been working with Rudy for a few weeks now to replace our electric panel. He has been totally responsive, lots of delays by Edison. He kept after them to move the project along. This is not a cheap project, but the house is 50 years old, and it seemed prudent to bring it up to current code. His price was very fair, he is an electrician, not a handyman. They worked fast, and clean, and were respectful of our property all along the way. A very smooth project on his part! Very happy with the work. read more

Look no further for an honest, sharp, and experienced electrician!! Rudy and his team are the very BEST!! Rudy was fast to respond to my request, to schedule an appt., and to help diagnose and RESOLVE our electrical problems in the yard: The wrought iron gate had stopped working and the pond's filter and pump had stopped, as well. Rudy was extremely knowledgeable and capable of determining to causes of all of the problems. He first checked the main breaker panel to ensure all of the breakers were working. He also gave great advice about many of the electrical lighting issues he saw throughout the yard. He fixed all of the problems I called about within such a short amount of time!! Thank you , Rudy !!! You are such a kind hearted man. You and your team will be my first point of contact for any future electrical problems!!! read more

This is the first review I have ever written and am doing so because it is well deserved! Called Rudy for an estimate to install new lights on each side our garage and he came out the very next day. I found him to be a very nice and honest man - very engaging and patient, especially with my little ones who were trying to dictate the job! We were happy with the estimate and went forth with the work, which he completed timely and cleanly, a big deal for me. Job turned out beautifully but there was a mishap with one of the dusk to dawn lights we bought at Lowes - the photocel on one was not working, so he offered to come back the next day and install the replacement! He didn't have to do that but he did! He went above and beyond! He will definitely be our go to man for any future needs! Thank you Rudy, it was a pleasure! Great work!! read more

I had an issue at my rental unit involving ONE recessed lighting unit. Unable to fix it myself, I contacted a few electricians and decided to go with Rudy after speaking with him on the phone. Rudy advised we take a look at the problem to see if he can save me some work and cost. He came out the very next day. I was expecting the fix to require significant work, but Rudy took a look and said he can fix it quickly and easily. This saved me a lot of work, time and money, which I greatly appreciated. He also gave me a free advice on another project to make the work easier. Rudy is a very personable, honest and ethical person, which is what you want in a contractor. With my lack of expertise, he could have easily made a bigger project out of it and charged me more, but he chose to make it a simple fix and save me money. This says a lot about his character and work ethics. I would definitely call him for future projects and strongly recommend him to others. Thank you, Rudy! read more

Rudy is professional, skillful and honest. You will NOT be overcharged or oversold. I bought a house & was told by inspector several outlets need to be grounded. Every electrician I called before Rudy made it sound like it's a major endeavor. Rudy walked me through the process and gave me a very reasonable price for the job. And he completed the work on time and at the price he quoted. He also made sure to use the least invasive way to pull the ground wires to minimize damaging the walls. I re-hired him to install Ring security system throughout my property and had the same positive experience. Can't say enough good things about him. read more
