I had a problem with an outdoor electrical plug that was causing problems with my swimming pool lights. I tried to change it myself and turned off the main breaker. After changing the plug and didn't solve the problem, I turned the main breaker back on to my house. Well, the main breaker would not turn back on so I had no power to our house. This was on a Sunday afternoon so I called few electricians and NO one was available. Yikes... Wilson took my call right away and he was able to stop by the same day to address the problem. The main breaker was pretty much done and fortunately, he had a spare one in his truck. Once replaced, he tested other breakers in the panel and found others were bad. That was the reason why my new central cooling and heating system was shutting down for no apparent reason. I worked with the AC company going back and forth for months and was not able to find the problem. They suggested replacing the thermostat as the next step to troubleshoot the problem. Wilson found the breaker for my AC/Heating was bad and also my 30-year-old electrical panel needed replacement as we saw sparks coming from the panel as we turned on other breakers. I contracted Wilson for the replacement and discussed few options for my house and after conducting my own research recommended by Wilson, I agreed and signed the contract. I contacted Edison and they gave me the green light for the project so we started as soon as he was available. As he started the project, he found other issues and surprises and the job was a bit more complex. There was another old electrical panel that was hidden that needed removal and patching to the wall was also needed. Wilson promised he would restore power the same day he started the job and he did. After the work was done, the city inspector came and only recommended few corrections which are always expected. Wilson addressed them right away and it was signed off and approved for the permanent connection to the power pole. Overall, I was very pleased from start to finish and I also had other minor electrical items to address as well as moving NEST cameras and installing a NEST doorbell. Everything worked work and I am very happy with the end result. Later this year, I will finish it up and paint the wall where the panel was replaced. We were looking to add more circuits to our new 200 amp panel. Homes back in the day didn't account for appliances with a lot of electricity so we needed separate circuits for our microwave and washer/dryer. I contacted Wilson, and he gave me a rough quote. All of a sudden we only had partial power, some things worked and some didn't; lights were on but weak, lights in the garage worked but not the garage door opener. He was able to determine low voltage coming from Edison. I called SCE and got confirmation of low voltage issues in our area.
