Hart Ace Hardware sits directly on Highway 100 in Bellevue just past or right before Kroger, depending on which way you are headed. I have been to many Ace Hardware's and I must say that Hart Ace may be one of my favorites for a few reasons... - Staffing - There were several Associates and all were friendly and helpful! - Size/Layout - This Ace is pretty good size with a good outdoor space, grilling section, a few specialty desks (hardware/paint) and it was all laid out quite well! - Stock - The place was stocked to the brim with all the goods that you need or never knew you actually needed! I stopped by for a few things and left with all I needed and an extra car cleaning tool that I did not know existed! Overall, Hart Ace is a solid Ace Hardware! One that I will certainly visit when needed...or when I just want to walk around and look at cool things. read more

The last 3 times I have been to this hardware store the service@ check out has been abysmal. Otherwise, this is a very nice hardware store with nice gift items and regular hardware products, but the service is worse than lacking. I do not plan to go back even though I prefer to support local businesses rather than the big box stores. Try Tractor Supply-they have lots of same items you would normally go to hardware store to get. save yourself the frustration. read more

It's convenient but only if you have to. For the third time now the sale price isn't the actual price and they hope that you won't look at it on the receipt or challenge it at the register. Don't believe me? Go try to take advantage of the current stereo buy a 6 pack get a free bottle sale. (Today is 4/21). They will repeatedly tell you to your face you are wrong. Like I said, third time this has happened. You're better off going to the nearby Home Depot with better selection/prices if you have the time. Edit: one star. After neglecting our air filters for the past few months, our air conditioner was threatening to call it quits. In a desperate attempt to remedy the situation, I drove over to Hart Ace Hardware on Hwy 100 for filters and a ladder. Im not the best at these things and really rely on the staff to help me get what I need. The associates who work here are have you in mind, as a fellow homeowner. I wasn't pushed to buy the $370.00 ladder I didn't need. It did not cost me an arm and a leg. After all was paid for, and we realized I couldn't get the ladder on the roof of my car, the store kindly offered to delivery the ladder, same day, free of charge. I had everything at my house in 10 minutes. It really doesn't get any better than that. read more

Arrived before 05:00pm on a Friday. Store hours are until 07:00pm. They decided to close early as I was about to enter to pick up an online order THEY notified me was available to be picked up. They then refused to get it or refund it and insisted that I pick it up tomorrow. Don't waste your time here. Not going back; chargeback it is. read more

So the service is fine but the prices are rather high on particular items. For instance four 9 volt Duracell batteries on sale $2 off for $14.99. That's $3.75 per battery. Wow. ! Costco has the same batteries Duracell eight for $17.99 or $2.25 each. A $1.50 less give me a break. read more

Always helpful, typically greeted at the door. Staff will stop stocking and help you find what you need. The advice I receive there is always spot on. The items I price check with Home Depot most of the time are in line, maybe not cheaper but close. Add in the convenience, help and I don't need to wander through a massive store for a few screws it is worth the few pennies I pay. read more

Ace always seems to be more expensive than big box stores, but the service normally makes up for it by far. I've been driving by this one on Hwy 100 when I head to Nashville, it looks so nice outside I decided to give it a try. Huge disappointment. Prettiest Ace I've been in, but with the worst prices and service. Honestly if this was my only Ace option, I'd probably settle for the box stores. Even though I'll never give this store a penny, I'll at least give you 2 stars since it was quite clean and well kept. Every time I go in to this store the new employees seem enthusiastic and proactively helpful, however the employees who seem to have been there a while have a crummy attitude as though customers are inconveniencing them. No eye contact, rude, indifferent and it seems management is quite alright with that. Seems the entrenched indifferent employees are probably running off the new enthusiastic employees because you sure seem to see news faces cycling through yet the old employees with the crappy attitudes remain. read more

Needed a tube of grease for my chainsaw sprocket. Since I was at Kroger's next door to the Ace Hardware store I went there to purchase it. When I checked out I was astonished to find the cost was $16.99 plus tax. This item sell for under $4.00 in other stores. I went ahead and took it, but I promise that's the last purchase I'll ever make at Ace Hardware in Bellevue or anywhere else. Buy beware!! read more

I went to Ace Hardware in Bellemeade, PPG, and Home Depot trying to pick out stain colors for a large screened in porch we added. Seriously Will and Mike Hwy 100 were the BEST! They spent so much time helping me and seemed to be the only guys out of all the locations that knew anything about stain. I highly recommend going here for paint! read more

I sort of have mad love for my local Ace Hardware store. The kids love it because they have cool dime store things like gumballs, free popcorn and bags of colored rocks as well as a fair number of candies around to distract them while I run around with paint cards quizzing the whole store about color choices. "Does this color say super secure power professor who doesn't need anyone's guff? WAIT don't answer that!!" They have great services like filing your paint colors so you can know a brand and finish that goes in your room, they also sharpen knives, fix windows and screen doors and are generally very helpful with projects I've done refinishing household items and doing minor repairs. They have a very impressive furniture and grill area outside but the plants get snagged up quickly. Sales staff are exceedingly helpful and kind and once you sign up fo their NSA based tracking software, you get coupons each month in the mail. I love that they keep the place SO much cleaner than a box store, have a range of colors in paints without being overwhelming and never make you feel like you are imposing. I'm still making enough money that I will continue to pay the increase of 15% over Home Depot for some customer service TLC and cheering from the staff peanut gallery that yes, I did pick the right color that makes me a power player :-) read more

It is a well kept store with almost any and everything you could need in stock as far as hardware stores go plus they have a wide variety of other things too. The service has been excellent and the staff always seems to be eager to help you unlike some experiences I have had in big box stores of similar theme. I've been frequenting this store for several years. While smaller than a Lowe's or Home Depot, they had a nice supply of Stihl equipment. I appreciated the monthly coupon packet they sent out & the loyalty rewards. I purchased a Stihl Kombi system and several Kombi attachments as well as a Stihl chainsaw in 2016. I took both in for annual service that took a surprisingly long couple of weeks each time. Last year I noticed the chainsaw appeared to be leaking oil, so I took it in. Three weeks & $40 later, I was told they couldn't find anything wrong. About two months ago, my chainsaw chain wouldn't move freely on the bar, so I took it in to Hart (they are an essential business and open throughout the COVID lockdown). They told me it would be a couple of weeks. Nearly a month later, the technician called me & I again explained the problem. He said he'd check it out and give me a call back. Last week, after not hearing from anyone at Hart for nearly another month, I stopped by to check. The first person I talked to said their Stihl tech had been fired and he wasn't sure if my saw had been fixed. Then someone with a little more authority addressed me with a less than congenial attitude. He said the Stihl tech had to leave for a family emergency & Hart was coordinating with another repair shop to repair the backlog of waiting equipment. I asked why no one had called me to keep me updated. The now surly manager said I could take my chainsaw if I wanted. That was an easy choice. I took my saw to TriGeen in Franklin yesterday, a tech looked at it and got the chain moving, but said I might want to get a new bar due to a groove that had developed that could cause the chain to slip again. I went ahead and told him to replace the bar & chain, which he did...all in less than an hour from when I walked in. No labor cost, just parts that were priced the same as the Stihl website. Oh, and he said a little bit of oil leakage is to be expected as the saw ages. He didn't charge me $40 for that tidbit of info. Needless to say, I won't be frequenting Hart anymore for Stihl maintenance. read more

Being a woman I feel as though sometimes I am treated like I don't know what I am doing in places like this but I have never felt that way here. Gave this place 5 stars as it's nice to have a convenient place in Bellevue. Service is usually very good and quick to help. Though prices are a little high which should really cost them a star. They usually have what I need but beware, high prices may become a challenge as other stores nearby offer more options for less. Wife likes the house goods like picture frames and nick-nacs. You can get any type of hardware you need in addition to outdoor gardening supplies, paints, equipment, hobby items, gifts - I could go on and on. Basically, anything that you need is there.
