I chose him because of the good first conversation we had when he asked me to describe the oven's symptoms. He came 2 days later as scheduled and fixed us up by replacing our lower bake heating element, which he had thought to bring with him based on my description of the problems when we first spoke by phone set up the visit. I was glad that we did not have to wait for parts! He was on time, courteous, conversant, knowledgeable, informative, competent, and careful in his work. Best of all, he was reasonable in his approach and pricing, so much so that we have ranked him among our very best "go to" providers for repair. His parts are warrantied for a year and his labor is warrantied for 90 days. While at our home for that couple of hours, Ray spoke with both me and my wife and answered questions, and also looked at our other appliances and gave us tips for whether to repair or replace each of them dependent on how each of them might breakdown in the future, as well as telling us about the dependability of various brands and models based on his many years of experience. He was just great, and we highly recommend him.

I received a text the next day just confirming my address and my delivery for the following day. It did say we would get a call/text about the time frame the day before, which we did not. We began having issues with the dryer and I called them to come out. It took them 2 weeks to come out. Finally some man comes and replaces a part and says it's fixed. He acted like he couldn't get out of our house fast enough. We checked the dryer. It actually was COLDER than before so he made the dryer worse. We called them back and they said they couldn't get to us again for about another week. They messed it up and made it worse and they couldn't get over to fix it??? SO horrible service. This place is horrific. All the employees couldn't care LESS. We finally got in touch with another company that does warranty work on speed queens he came over within an hour and fixed it. The guy from MCcalls was TOTALLY wrong and fixed the wrong part. We are so disappointed with this company and will NEVER buy or use them again for anything. You are WARNED.

I will say I was taken back at the price in total. It was very expensive to change a heating element in our dryer. He charged us 295.00 in total and was here all of 30 minutes. All in all I'm glad my dryer is fixed but I feel like the price was very high for the time spent and the part cost in my opinion. Also want to point out that he did not take credit card.
