I have puchased 2 vacuums from Bret and his dad. Great service on every aspect and a yearly check up. I have never had an issue

We do NOT live in California - We live in Brentwood, TN ( and the other reviewers here probably…read morelive in Franklin or Brentwood too!) 1/31/2024 - Our KitchenAid microwave oven wall unit (model KEMS378sss05) quit pre-heating and quit maintaining temperature correctly, so I called several appliance repair people and chose King Appliance Repair, owned and operated by Ray Diaz. I chose him because of the good first conversation we had when he asked me to describe the oven's symptoms. He came 2 days later as scheduled and fixed us up by replacing our lower bake heating element, which he had thought to bring with him based on my description of the problems when we first spoke by phone set up the visit. I was glad that we did not have to wait for parts! He was on time, courteous, conversant, knowledgeable, informative, competent, and careful in his work. Best of all, he was reasonable in his approach and pricing, so much so that we have ranked him among our very best "go to" providers for repair. His parts are warrantied for a year and his labor is warrantied for 90 days. While at our home for that couple of hours, Ray spoke with both me and my wife and answered questions, and also looked at our other appliances and gave us tips for whether to repair or replace each of them dependent on how each of them might breakdown in the future, as well as telling us about the dependability of various brands and models based on his many years of experience. He was just great, and we highly recommend him.

SHAMEFUL, DISHONEST, AND PRICE GOUGING COMPANY! If I could…read moreleave no stars I would do that. Run from these guys before they rip you off. Our oven quit heating so I called based on their "Google Reviews", now I know they have to be fake. Service guy showed up within the hour window they quoted. Had me turn off the breaker for the oven, took out 4 screws and saw the element was broke in half. No need to put a meter on it, this is the problem, simple enough. Mind you, he was here less than 10 minutes at this point. He says let me do a quick quote, I happen to have the part with me. Great I say. Then he hits me with $412 to swap out the element. Folks look on YouTube at how simple and little time that takes. When I question the bid and the time it will take he says, I can do it for $350. I asked how much the part was and he said $105. This is also a lie (more to come). I told him I couldn't spend that much for what seemed a really quick repair. So he packed up and left. Now the rest- I called A1 appliance here in Nashville for the part and they have it in stock for $58, or if I can wait a day Amazon will deliver the same (factory whirlpool part, number W10779716) for $42. But he lied and said the part was $105. I did the whole repair myself for $65 and it couldn't have been quicker or simpler. Wait I almost forgot, it actually cost me $142.68 more because I had to pay this awful company that amount for the 10 minutes they spend in my house removing 4 screws and looking at a broken element. There's an old saying that if you can't trust someone with the small things, how can you possibly trust them with big things. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! $412 charge for a 15 minute repair and a $42-65 part (the exact same part he walked into my house with because I took a picture of it) is PRICE GOUGING and taking advantage of honest homeowners! Shame on you! You represent everything awful about the service industry and give a bad name to company's that actually DO THE RIGHT THING! Please go out of business!
