0 stars is what I would like to enter. Extremely poor service, came 2 times to fix a leak. Caused a new leak and they refused to take ownership for it. The owner, Brendan, was extremely rude when I tried to explain what occurred. This is an example of how Brenden responded to me via text: Brenden: "I'm not gonna fight with you over it the video clearly shows the line isn't leaking the blue valve housing is. There is no way you had a drip that bad for 2 weeks and just noticed it today. You noticed a tiny defrost water leak 12 hrs after they left. They didn't unhook the water or turn the water off or mess with the water in any way so there's no way they cracked the valve. I am not replacing a part we didn't break or damage. Period. " Me: "Brendan, thanks for your time. You know this isn't right. I was referred to you by a very good friend, disappointing. Referrals go a long way as you know. I've used this company for my kitchen appliances for three years. These guys are a locally owned REPAIR company, NOT a upsales/replacement company. They just repaired my prized. Fisher/Pakel two-drawer dishwasher. Gave a 60 day guarantee. Not cheap, but properly repaired with original manufacturer parts. They tell you truthfully, if they can work on an appliance. They show up when they're scheduled to, and they charge what they agreed to before hand. you get to do your part, though, at least have the brand of appliance and preferably the model number so they come prepared. i'm a pure customer, I have no financial or personal interest in this company. I think they did a fine job fixing our washing machine. But the price was so different than he quoted me on the phone. I initially chose the company because of the great reviews on Facebook. The gentleman on the phone informed me my rotors were needing to be replaced on my 5 year old washing machine. He quoted between $350 and $400. I was assuming it would end up being closer to $400 (trying to be as realistic as possible). They came on time, the technician who did the work was great. Very nice, wore a mask, etc. Sadly, when it came time to pay... it was $664 ! That's basically a new washing machine! This did not break our family financially, but it definitely threw me for a loop and I would've loved to know it was going to be $660+ to fix it. We probably would've just purchased a new washing machine for $1,200. I tried calling them multiple times to find out why it was so expensive, no return phone call. I've left them a message as well. Still nothing. Obviously the entire experience was disappointing because it was $660+ ! Not sure many washers are worth fixing at that price. Bummer. read more

All better was contracted by our property management company to deal with our very old dishwasher. It was not draining. First dude came, sucked up the water, poked around a bit and said "fixed" Nope, next time we ran it, same issue. Water not draining all the way. Second dude comes out, says it's the drainage hose, it's blocked. He says they will order a new one, and come back. Finally on third visit, while installing the new drain hose, tech says "hey there was a big clog by the drain at the bottom, I cleared that out" This did in fact fix the problem. I am left wondering, if the problem was in fact Dishwasher not draining, why didn't they check that on the first visit? So, in summary, took them 2 weeks and 3 visits to fix what could have easily been fixed in one. Train your dudes, All Better. read more

Several months ago, we noticed that our freezer had severe frost. We took everything out, thinking it was overloaded, cleaned off all of the frost, and only put about 1/2 of the contents back. A few days later, the frost returned. We called All Better Appliance who sent out a nice serviceman. He said he believed the problem was lack of proper sealing, and applied Vaseline to the seal. Unfortunately, this did not fix the problem and the frost immediately returned. We called All Better Appliance again, and the same serviceman arrived. He said he believed it was still the same issue, but wasn't certain what else to do. He never inspected the unit's motor, but only faulted the seal. On a Saturday morning, at 4 AM, the door open alarm on the refrigerator started sounding off every 15 seconds. We noticed the freezer and the refrigerator felt warm, and called All Better a few hours later, but they were not open. Not wanting to loose all of the food in our fridge / freezer, and not being able to bear hearing an alarm intermitting sounding off all weekend long, we called ASAPappliance, who offers same day repairs. They sent out a very nice and extremely knowledgeable serviceman who immediately diagnosed the problem as the high speed of the 3-speed freezer fan not working. He showed us how to turn the alarm off, and ordered parts for us. He came back on Monday, with the parts, and installed them. Since his visit, the frost has not returned and we have had no further problems. I called All Better Appliance to ask for a refund, since I believed that the frost was a sign that the fan was going out, and since they never checked the motor/ fan, but only faulted the seal. I spoke to Brandon who asked me to get a letter from the other repair company it stating that fan was causing the issue of the frost. I called ASAPappliance who was kind enough to send me a letter explaining the repair they made to resolve the problem. Brandon has refused to issue a refund saying it was our fault for, "not doing the proper thing and waiting until Monday" to call them again to come out for the 3rd time. It was frustrating that he wasted my time, and the time of ASAPappliance, in writing the letter, when he knew he wouldn't be issuing a refund. I would recommend skipping All Better Appliance and calling ASAPappliance instead, who will resolve the root problem the same day. Used them to come fix a dryer. Paid nearly $500 to get it fixed for a client. Dryer hasn't been used since and now still has the same problem. I called to ask them to come assess it and they said because we are over 60 days ( we are at 68 days now) they won't come assess for free. Even though it SHOULD have been fixed already. They told me I had 60 days even though I was never told that, nor was that information sent to me. The receptionist brought it to the attention of repairman and owner and they both agreed I should have to pay another nearly $100 for an assessment. It's poor business to split hairs over 8 days ESPECIALLY when I was never told about the 60 day warrantee. I will never be using this company again and am taking my business elsewhere. read more

Our first technician showed up hours late and installed the wrong water valve -- the manager came out and fixed the issues himself at no extra cost. Our Whirlpool front loader washing machine was not working. I called All Better and they came out that day. They diagnosed the problem as a bad control board and quoted a price of 303.06 plus tax to repair it. I paid the trip charge and said I'd get back to them. I assumed (my mistake) that like all reputable repair companies I've dealt with in the past, that if I had the repairs done, the trip charge would be deducted. It was not. Had I realized that the repair would be over $400, I'd have gone to Lowe's and got a scratch and dent machine. I won't be using this company again. read more

Our refrigerator repair was done through our HMS Home Warranty policy. HMS assigned it out to All Better Appliance. Their scheduler called us within an hour and scheduled Brandon (the owner) to come out to do the service on our Sub-Zero refrigerator. The problems with refrigerator was that it had suddenly stopped cooling which, to us, felt like an urgent issue. Brandon was very professional, honest, friendly and highly knowledgeable about Sub-Zero refrigerators. He also was very responsive with respect to making time in his schedule to do the repair, was even willing to add us on to the end of a fully booked day so the it could be diagnosed as quickly as possible. He accurately and quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it just as quickly and professionally.
