Ooh ooh, Elbas! Such good food! Pork is insane, yo! Chicken is sick! Outstanding and delicious! Big heaping portions of rice. I had a lot of fat in my meat, which I could have used to mix through my white rice to flavor it, but eating in the car didn't allow me to risk a mess. I didn't get enough meat but what I got was extremely good. My son gobbled his empanada. Normally he's picky about empanada spices but this one he loved! My husband's chicken was out of this world too. He was raving after every bite! Plantains were perfectly sweet, a little crisp, and mushy inside. Will be back soon! read more

2 for 1 video, Bacon, Egg & Cheese on Toast and a Cheesesteak Empanada. It was early. Door was open. I walked in. I ordered. I waited. I was tired, hungry and cranky. I googled Elba's. They weren't open. The man was waiting for the grill to heat up. I was still hungry but happy they opened early for me. Bacon, Egg & Cheese had a good amount of food and was very nicely made. The Empanada, I over reheated it in my air fryer. Good little empanada. $2.50, I'm not going to complain. read more

I definitely don't want to tear down a Latino business but the food was mid. I've definitely had better. Also I'm 100% Puerto Rican so I know my stuff. I went once and haven't been back since. The ladies are nice tho and the place is nice. read more

Elba's is a little Dominican place where the food is made with love and care. The video below shows an assortment of different foods Elba's has on a daily basis. The food is fresh all day long! The service at Elba's is like speaking to family, very warm. Elba's establishment is small but has a couple tables that you can sit and eat the food hot and fresh. Don't get me wrong tho it's just as good when you take it to go! Look no further for comforting Dominican food. read more

I was finally able to get to visit Elbas after a recommendation on Facebook. The food and service were equally amazing. I was greeted and treated kindly as soon as I stepped foot inside. They helped me order and also gave me a sample of the food they had behind the counter that day. Tender chicken throughout both items, the dish and the pastelillos - which I cannot recommend enough! You ever drive by a place on a regular basis and never pay attention to it? That was Elbas until last week. I stopped in and I'm glad I did. It's a small restaurant, clean, and has a couple of tables if you want to dine in. I got my food to go. I was torn but ended up getting the steak, rice and peas, and plantain. Everything was delicious. The portions are a good size, I couldn't eat it all in one sitting. I'll be back to try some other menu items soon. read more

Elba's Deli serves up one of the most delicious Caribbean food I've had! Their menu is quite extensive, offering breakfast options, appetizers (such as onion rings, poppers, cheese fries, etc.), club sandwiches, hot sandwiches, hoagies, wraps, cheesesteaks, burgers, and, of course, Latin fare. We enjoyed a carryout of the following: +Steak and Fried Plantains with yellow rice with beans +Roast Pork with Sweet Plantains +Oven Chicken with Rice & Beans +Fried Pork Chops with Rice and Fried Plantains +Turnovers with beef, aka pastelillos +Stuffed Potato Balls, aka papas rellenas +Alcapurrias - Puerto Rican fritters Everything was SO GOOD. No weird odors, no stringy meat, no bland flavors - the steak, the roast pork, the pork chops, and the chicken - they were so juicy and unbelievably well-seasoned. The rice & beans were one of my favorites - cooked perfectly and had plenty of beans - YUM! I loved the pastelillos - they were crispy and had a generous meat filling. The alcapurrias were addicting - I was so full, but couldn't stop grabbing another bite! Definitely a gem of a place to check out - what a great local business! Huge portion sizes of amazing Latin food! The rice, beans, maduros, and fish were all perfectly cooked. Not 5 stars due to under filled empanadas but even those were cooked perfectly. This is the long awaited Latin food place I need in the Delco area! read more

We enjoyed lunch at Elbas! Everyone was very welcoming. My husband's giant egg, avocado, onion, pepper sandwich was $5. We will be back!
