I visited El Vallarta during a trip home to visit my brother and sisters. There was plenty of parking and reservations are not needed. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. El Vallarta offers a full bar with all your favorites. We were seated quickly and offered chips and salsa as soon as we sat down. The menu was full of traditional Mexican foods with seafood, beef, and chicken. The food is authentic and made to order using fresh ingredients. I ordered the Fish Tacos. They came with rice and were delicious. We had great service and enjoyed our time at El Vallarta. This is a place to visit if you are looking for real, authentic Mexican food. read more

We had THE BEST birthday party here ever! Our server was top notch!! I mean he made the night!!! I'm so sorry I forgot his name. Family lunch here this weekend. The service was really fast, and once we decided what we wanted, it came out quickly. The menu is huge - and they also have brunch offerings. I had the mahi tacos. They had big chunks of blackened fish, with avocado, and I enjoyed it. My mom had the shrimp quesadilla, and it was huge. The shrimp were large and well cooked, and there were fajita vegetables too. I also had the hibiscus refresher, which was delicious. It was a deep fuchsia color, and lightly sweetened, and I'd agree with the name - very refreshing. read more

This place is wonderful for authentic Mexican and the vibe and ambience is clean and the staff is friendly. Great for small or large groups. The margaritas and drinks come in all sizes and there is something here for everyone as far as a cocktail is concerned is tequila isn't your thing. We only got appetizers but the cheese and bean dips are non negotiable. I would ask for a side of tortillas as well to dip in. FOOD: 2/5 Left much to be desired. The burrito; chili relleno; and enchilada was overpowered with the taste of vegetable oil. Flavor was not bad, but it was over-oiled affecting the taste. The shrimp fajitas had very few shrimp and was not filling. SERVICE: 1/5 The waitress was sweet and kind, but absolutely terrible service. When she sat us down, we were neglected until the very end. We needed drinks and hot sauce and never got our drinks. We asked the associate who brought our food out for hot sauce. He said "okay" and never came back! We did flag what appeared to be the manager, but it was a hassle. Terrible, terrible service. PRICES: 4/5 Prices where fair, but not for the quality of the food. After he left, I thought how unprofessional and actually borderline rude he was to 'remind' me they closed at 9. So I went to Los Gallos which always had better tasting food. Just had a late lunch here. First time to the new Restaraunt since they moved. Great suprise! Mar's peach Daquari was spot on, they had Tecate Beer which is excellent but hard to find and Brain was a great server. Quesadilla was great as was my Carne Asada, refried beans and guacamole. Presentation on platters was excellent. Great salsa but mediocre chips. Wish they had El Fenix (Dallas) chips, but then I'd probably ruin my meal. We will be back and ask for Brian to serve us. I was there last night as an out of town person visiting a friend who lives in the area and MAN I loved it. I got the Taco-dilla de Camarones and it was so good. Everything about it from the sauce to the breading on the shrimp were fantastic, let alone the fact that it was in hard taco that was wrapped in a cheesy soft taco. The lack of a fifth star was because it took a really long time to get our check as our waitress disappeared for a bit, but we got it. I'll definitely be back. read more

Oh what a night. I'm going to tell you now, DO NOT COME HERE, this is one of the most DISAPPOINTING places I've been to in awhile. For starters ALL our drinks were watered down, even the shots. I had a double Jack and coke and it tasted like they mixed it with Jaeger. The shots were jack and quervo and my god they tasted like water. The waiter couldn't, for the life of him, get our order right and missed two meal orders. My sister-in-law ordered a steak taco, so they brought her bean tacos....of course. we have visited this restaurant several times a month since 2020. we have, until this evening, always been impressed with the service and food quality here, and the speed at which it is served. tonite, with a party of 6 (relatives), we arrived for dinner at 6pm and were seated immediately. no beverege service until i flagged someone down. a guy showed up 10 mintues later with our drinks and took our food order. about 20 minutes later, 4 meals delivered, 1 delivered incomplete, and 1 not delivered at all. had to chase down people asking them to follow up on missing food for the next 30 minutes. waited 30 minutes for the bill, finally gave up and ended up with the manager. sincere apologies for lousy service, and an offer to take the charge off the bill for my brother in laws 1/2 hour late meal. all to say, this is usually a great place for a nice Tex Mex meal. we will never go back to this restaurant on a Friday evening with any more than 4 people. and after this frustrating experience, we'll avoid Fridays altogether for at least a few months. i have wonder if this restaurant has been recently sold, or there has been some kind of mass staff turmoil and turnover. read more

I absolutely love this place! They have the best chimichangas around. We ordered take out and you can now order online so I took advantage off that. It's still new so be patient while they work out the quirks. I didn't like how I was supposed to call but still had to come in to get my order, it didn't matter to me but maybe to some so you may want to call and ask. I've had their fajitas before and those were also excellent. The new location looks amazing and so warm and inviting.
