We have so many Mexican restaurants in the area so it's hard to choose a favorite. Decided to give this one a second try because my first time was just eh. Next visit I orders something I guess I really never looked for on menu. They have a baked potato with basically the fajita on top. This dish was really good. Baked potato with chicken peppers and onions too with cheese sauce. Nicely done for something different. Just a little variety from your typical burrito shell and rice and beans. Excellent service and very good food. My son and nephew both got the burrito and they were huge. Very nice atmosphere inside, cozy. Definitely a hidden gem in Hubbard. Glad to see this restaurant open and (hopefully) thriving. read more

Wow blown away, outside not very appealing but once you enter looks are deceiving, it's actually very nice, and waitress takes care of you. First time I went with group of co-workers and ordered the mole poblano not many know what mole sauce is . It was good but needed to be a bit thicker , chicken was good although noticed all Mexican restaurants make their rice the same, no flavor like back home we add knorr tomato beef or chicken flavor or consomate . Tortillas aren't hand made, hand made ones are the best. Today I tried the Milanese consists of two breaded breast, Milanesa can be chicken or beef, the breaded chicken were good but tasted like the chicken tenders from Buffalo Wild Wings but bigger, avocado was good . read more

She would remember, she was very attentive. She wouldn't let our drinks get too low. Wouldn't let us run out of chips or salsa. Our order was correct, even with us being nit picky about ingredients and everything needing to be free range and cooked on a separate grill and I'm just kidding. We don't give a crap about free range anything. But the food was great and quick and as described. And we were charged what the menu said, not like Marios in Plainview, NY where they screw you on the prices. We went here today and it was terrible we started off with salsa that had a hair in it followed by a different guy other than our waitress bringing us nasty bitter tea when we asked if there was sweet tea, but that's not the kicker we ordered some to go food for my mother, I ordered two combos, one was supposed to be bean burritos and I got cheese burritos instead and the other combo was the potato burritos and the red sauce was terrible. Also my combo was supposed to have rice and I got none...... it was $70!!!!! Should've gotten a refund for the hair alone! I WON'T be back! read more

Classic. We have had about 3 other Mexican restaurants in this town and this is the only one that has survived. They have your classic Mexican food but a lot better. The rice is really good. The only thing is that one time we orderd take out and they gave us the wrong order and we had to go back and get the right order, but it is still one of my favorite places to go when I want to go out. read more

Surprisingly good Mexican restaurant in small town Ohio. (No offense, Ohio). We're up here for a wedding and needed somewhere to eat that was open past 9 on a Friday. Options in Hubbard were pretty limited once you got past the truck stop placed. I had the Tacos al Carbon and the pork was tender and flavorful. I enjoyed it so much that I ate the first (of three) with none of the provided toppings. It came with the usual toppings but also included was some of the hottest salsa that I've had. The meal was pretty inexpensive and the margaritas were on a special. You really can't go wrong. read more

Stopped in for lunch on Friday. Nice place, probably brought out chips and salsa. Had the queso with chorizo, very good. Had the speedy Gonzalez with their charro beans. Food was good and flavorful except for the charro beans , which were a bit bland. A lot of food and took the extra home and ate next day. Guest had plenty of food also. The waitress was great and friendly. Will stop in again if in Hubbard. read more

This is your typical Mexican restaurant. All the same flavors and drinks. The only trouble is you run the risk of chomping down onto a rock when you take a bite of your refried beans. I think some of you who read this might think I'm exaggerating when I say rock, but let me be clear, it was larger than a pencil eraser and a little smaller than a marble. The owner removing the entree from the bill might have been good enough to suffice, but he denied blame and said it was the fault of manufacturer of the beans. I've been to this restaurant often because its close to my home. I've made one concession after another for this restaurant even though the food is average and service is okay. I stopped ordering their margaritas because they hardly put any alcohol for the price. I asked for more salsa for the chips tonight and the waitress brought cheese sauce instead, and paid for it. I ordered extra cheese on a small side order of beans for my daughter and they came out with the same amount of cheese as they normally have on it, but was charged $2.00. I know $2.00 isn't much but if you ask for extra, you should get extra. I complained nicely about being charged $2.00 and not having anything to show for it, but the owner/manager told me he had to make money. I guess I paid for the word extra. I'm thinking this restaurant must be having trouble because the last few times I've gone, the food has gone down hill. Tonight, my Pollo Loco had so many onions, hardly any mushrooms, and it was greasy. I stated nicely that I was not coming back and was told fine, and he didn't care. My meals average over $60.00 2 to 3 times a month. I guess losing $180.00 over $2.00 is making money! I guess the next customer will be charged $3.00 to make up for us not returning. read more
