I thought it was way funnier than they did for some reason. I was there for pizza night and it was one of the better pizzas I've had in a while. There's also a food truck - it's both a little restaurant and a food truck - I didn't try the food truck, but I will next time! Then I came back in the morning and had a bacon egg biscuit. That was also excellent. There was music outside and everyone was happy and there's a funky little hang out room to the side with seating and art. Also, there was a very friendly shop dog named Mole - like the sauce, not the rodent. I liked the dog. Definitely worth a stop. It's a different experience at different times of day.

I've visited the winery twice now and both it and the Too Hot for TABC food truck are a permanent stop on the itinerary I plan to Marfa. The food they're serving up over there is legit some of the best I've ever had from a food truck and I'm still thinking about the amazing sandwich I had the last time I was there. It was a daily special but it needs to be a full time item. Hopefully if you're lucky they'll have it for you - prosciutto, brie, and some amazing jams. If you're not lucky, however, the award winning burger is always a delicious choice and the charcuterie board perfectly compliments an afternoon of drinking wine. Don't visit the winery without sampling some of the yummy dishes being served up at Too Hot for TABC!

The joint is a food truck, served out of an airstream, with seating at the winery. Just go- you won't be disappointed. The winery was awesome and staff super friendly. Gordo's is local, fast, and very good…read more While we were in Terlingua this food truck was our go to... we made three trips to this place ordering different things and it never let me down. We travelled there in mid-July and the options in Terlingua were somewhat limited, but this is one you don't want to skip. The first evening, we stopped by coming out of west Big Bend NP, and I just needed something easy and not messy. So, I got an horchata and an al pastor burrito. Liz had the al pastor tacos, and the burrito was a self contained version of that deliciousness. The agua de melon was very sweet and energizing after a long day of hiking in the park. The horchata was creamy and thick, but just as cold and refreshing as its fruity cousin. We went horseback riding with the Terlingua Stables and before checking out Big Bend Ranch State Park. This time around, Liz grabbed a burger, which she was happy with. I tried another burrito - the chicken fajita bacon ranch. The fries that came with Liz's burgers were good... i stole some. I went back for seconds and ordered a small order (6) of wings with a not so spicy version of the mango habanero. I was able to enjoy them, and I tried their third agua fresca - hibiscus/jamaica. In the end, i was impressed with Gordo's they were always there for us, during the Terlingua "slow" season. The service was very friend, and the food served was very good. Don't miss out on Gordo's.

I don't remember Cow Dog being here before so after driving by a few times and deciding I could do better than McDonald's as I was leaving town, I dropped in to see what they had to offer. The cashier was friendly and when her credit machine wouldn't work after a bit and all I had was $8 cash, she was gracious and gave me what I wanted at a dollar discount. Extremely reasonable prices for the caliber of breakfast burrito I received. I got the bounty burrito and it was definitely worth the wait! Packed full of roasted potatoes, freshly sautéed bell peppers, chunks of breakfast meat and flavorful egg I was bummed I was leaving and wouldn't be able to enjoy another one on a different day. There's ample inside seating and even more patio seating. There's free street parking, but take into account it's on a one way so plan accordingly. I think people might pass it often because there was a sign on the other one way back to remind you where to turn. I hope this place lasts a long time like all my other favorites up there. Support local businesses when you travel through because you never know what simple delights you'll enjoy unless you try.
