We have had many croutons and toasts in our lives ofcourse that didn't feel and taste like stale bread but we just took it as a funny part of our Marfa stop experience. Not a place I'd come back to consider the quality for the price but definitely a memorable end to our short stop in Marfa. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I've visited the winery twice now and both it and the Too Hot for TABC food truck are a permanent stop on the itinerary I plan to Marfa. The food they're serving up over there is legit some of the best I've ever had from a food truck and I'm still thinking about the amazing sandwich I had the last time I was there. It was a daily special but it needs to be a full time item. Hopefully if you're lucky they'll have it for you - prosciutto, brie, and some amazing jams. If you're not lucky, however, the award winning burger is always a delicious choice and the charcuterie board perfectly compliments an afternoon of drinking wine.
