We love this place and every time family visits they all request Line Thai. My favorite is the green curry but we also love the egg rolls.

Their complimentary water tasted and smelled absolutely disgusting and the dining room was not clean on 2.15.2025. Christmas decor was still up. The service at the register was okay - a bit too neutral. While we were waiting, the folks in the kitchen were yelling and making so much noise. I'm glad we decided not to stay. So when you walk in you order at the register then they bring the food out to you. The outdoor seating area looked nicer than the indoor, but it was quite chilly that night so we took our food to-go. Red curry chicken = $12.90 (good, but not much chicken and huge slices of red bell peppers) Chicken Satay over rice = $12.90 (probably the best dish we shared) Spring rolls (3) = $5.50 (okay) Shrimp cake (4) = $8.90 (I'd pass on these again) Sticky rice with ice cream = $5.90 (both of my daughters liked it, I passed on it) Sales tax is 8.25% (wow, West Texas) = $3.80 It's probably a really good option on a normal basis, but there is some work to be done. First off-- order at the counter. Food: The menu wasn't super hearty. They don't serve beef which put a damper on our plan to order "Beef Pad See Ew." We were, thankfully, able to order the rest of our typical Thai Restaurant order, though: Pad Thai Chicken-- Basic and satisfied the craving. Noodles were sweet and nutty, veggies were fresh and cooked just right, chicken was plentiful. Yellow Curry Chicken-- curry had decent flavor. There was a good balance of veggies and chicken. Tom Kha with Shrimp-- Hate to say that it was not good from the moment it hit my mouth. Was giving dog-food flavor, ngl. Ordered an extra rice as we usually need to and they brought out three large bowls with at least three hearty scoops each. Not complaining; my family of four ate most of it, but you light not need an extra rice if it's just a couple of you. All the food came out on/in disposable plates and bowls which made us raise an eyebrow. After being on the road most of the day, we were too hungry and tired to care all that much, though. Chili sauce came out in packets. Looked like some thought was put into the decor. Tables and chairs were nice but there were a lot of different conflicting decorations everywhere which made it feel too visually busy. Bathroom was tidy but needed a good cleaning. Ladies working there were kind. Worth a stop if you are in Alpine on a weekday evening and you don't feel like fast food. read more

Not a bad Thai spot in the middle of the desert. There was a long line. We prob waited 30 min for the food. The Pad Thai with chicken was good but I was not used to the uncooked scallions or raw carrots. Their spicy fried rice was quite good with the right amount of spice. read more

My wife and I came to this restaurant after we finished our visit at Big Bend National Park and we both agreed the food here couldn't have been more delicious, the atheistic of the cafe outside and in fit perfect for a small town vibe, service was quick and easy. Good food, good service, very nice outside dining area. This was a great restaurant when I first started going to it (1 1/2 years). Has been starting to go down overall in the last 9 months. Today, ordered shrimp spring rolls as I always do. They came in a paperboard tray. Not a good idea, the spring rolls stuck to the paperboard and peeled the spring roll open, so I had a shrimp salad. Saved the second one for when I got home. Even worse outcome! Tore the paperboard trying to unstick the spring roll. Ended up tearing the spring roll practically in half to get rid of the paperboard. This is some of the best Thai food I have ever had. I've eaten Thai food in San Antonio, Houston, Austin, and College Station. I've even taken a Thai food cooking class from a woman from Thailand. The Pad Thai was incredible with amazing flavor and the Tom Yum Gai soup was amazing. My friend had the Thai Basil and loved it (when they have 3 chili peppers know they mean business on the spice level). Amazing food, friendly service, and a cute little place. Great fast food Thai food. They do a lot of takeout but have plenty of indoor or outdoor seating. Expect, if eating in, to be served like fast food, but it's worth it. Cool little place across from the railroad blues. They have outside seating and a gravel parking lot. I had the Pad Thai Chicken, and it was good. I wasn't able to eat all of it. Solid Thai food for lunch. We were passing through Alpine and looking for something besides TexMex. This was a great pick! I almost always get Pad Thai the first time I visit a Thai place.
