Re: delivery order...How do you forget the tortillas with an order of fajitas? Also, why is the steak and chicken always overcooked in the fajitas. It is the driest chicken I have had in my life. Ruins the meal. I think you can afford to give more than a tablespoon or two of the corn cake, especially when we order a side of for $4.25. Would love it you would put more options on the delivery menu, such as subbing refried beans for the whole beans you serve, or a different salad dressing. When I come into the restaurant, the chips are good, but when I order delivery they are terrible. read more

If at all possible never allow yourself to be conned into eating there on a Sunday afternoon. Made reservation for Sunday at two in the afternoon so that we could order off the menu and not partake in the brunch, whoever answered the phone said that was fine and read back our contact information. Showed up at two and the hostess said that we were wrong and must have contacted a different restaurant, showed her the confirmation on my phone and magically we were in the right spot!!!! Was shown a table in the bar (which was fine) and noticed that every television in the place had lines running through the screen (like maybe someone had missed a cable bill). After our drink order was taken was informed that the had ran out of complementary chips and salsa (absurd right?). Now on to dinner, it tasted like it was left over from brunch, put in a warming tray and brought to our table. The only saving grace was our waitress Christina, a true professional and left us needing nothing besides (chips and salsa, television reception and freshly made food) all of which was beyond her control. read more

Here again a year later I thought maybe it's new staff and they finally have it together! I was greeted when I walked in. But once I came home my order was alllll messed up! Only one plate came with Corn cake when it should have been 2! My carne was not cooked good at all pink in each piece!! Best thing the food was hot but I can't eat it because the meat was not done! I'm so upset I spent over $60 for this mess again! I WILL NOT BE BACK AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN! I want all my hard earn money back! Decided to come for HH today. I never come to El Torito but today I gave it a try and wow it was ah-maxing . The taco Tuesday menu was great and delicious !! Al pastor was BOMB aF!! I'm so glad I came. Erika and Jocelyn were super attentive, professional and had great customer service skills. My daughter loved the Al pastor , corn and cornbread ! $4 beer hell yes ! Definitely recommend my favorite was also the chorizo cheese dip , like wow ! Left that place super happy and satisfied foreals . Will be back for sure ! read more

I hate to leave a 3 star review since I really like coming here, but my experience wasn't too pleasant. I want to start by saying that our waiter was nice and friendly. But with that being said, everything else went wrong. I had first asked for water with no ice since I was cold and don't drink any water with ice, but I was brought water with ice. Okay, no big deal, I didn't say anything. Then, I ordered the bar menu flautas. (Appetizers) with no cheese, since I can't have any. And my husband got the tostadas which are also from the bar menu. So they're no big plates. We waited and waited.. a really long time. Everyone who was seated after us got their big meals before us. And we're wondering why our food is not ready when we have small plates. Finally our food arrives and of course, there's cheese on it.. and at that point I'm starving from waiting so long. The waiter takes it back and then comes back to tell us that they can't make it without cheese.. Here's what's upsetting, if that was the case, why wouldn't I be told from the very start?? It makes no sense. Instead I wait for over 40 min just so they can say it can't be done. Also, I had previously been able to get them with no cheese so clearly, someone didn't want to make them. Also, he said they're "premade" which means they're not even fresh. At that point my stomach was hurting since I'm pregnant and hadn't ate. Except chips. And it's a shame to treat a pregnant woman like that. My husband was upset so he wanted to just pack up his meal to take home. So we did, paid and left. This service was poor after everything that happened. It could have been handled in a better way. Not sure if we want to go back now. read more

We had web order of a Fiesta Platter w/ a side of Tortilla Soup and when we opened the bag , the soup had nothing inside but broth & a piece of onion. Is that the best you can do? SLOW SERVICE AND A LIE: My friend and I had dinner on Saturday evening. We ordered two margaritas and dinner for two. My friend didn't care for the black beans that were part of her meal, so I asked the waitress to give them to me instead. She smiled and said that she would. When we received our meals there were no black beans in either order. The server who brought our order couldn't wait to drop off the plates and leave. I stopped him and asked about the beans. He didn't know much but said that he'd ask. The waitress finally returned and I reminded her of our previous conversation. She said that she'd take care of it. She brought our margaritas very late, almost halfway through our meal and finally brought a large bowl of black beans. The margaritas were very, very weak. When we received the bill, we were charged an extra fee for the beans. I complained and reminded our waitress of our earlier conversations. She then responded that black beans were NOT part of my friend's meal and were simply extra. She continued by asking if I wanted the charge removed. I said that I'd pay if it was, indeed, a legitimate charge but said that they were supposed to be included as part of the meal. She repeated that they were NOT part of the meal. I paid the bill with the extra charge. When I returned home, I check the menu online and discovered that the black beans were, INDEED, part of my friend's meal and should have been included. The waitress had looked me in the eye and lied to me. This is unacceptable. The two issues are that the bar is severely understaffed on a Saturday evening and it took entirely too long to get our drinks. More important is that the waitress is incompetent and doesn't know the menu and wouldn't bother to research the menu but simply LIED to me. I may not return. read more
