This place used to be Mas Fuego. I ordered the 3 taco plate. The tacos consisted of of a corn tortilla each soaked in oil, not even crunchy. Suggestion to restaurant: please put another tortilla in the tacos. After adding salsa the whole thing crumbles in half! :( You have your choice of two proteins out of 5 meats. The carnita meat was delicious but oily AF. The ribeye meat was good but could've been more tender. They put cotija cheese, pico, avocado bits and a slightly spicy red salsa on it served with lemon and nothing else. No chip, no salsa, nada. The service was stellar. As for ambience, it's half restaurant and 1/2 sports bar. Kinda noisy. 5 tv's in restaurant area and 3 in bar area. I would come back.

Pineapple aguachile *** I got mango because they were out of the pineapple BUT I preferred the mango it was perfect*

My team took me here to have a little baby shower, the restaurant is beautiful. I wish I had our servers name! When I went to order I made a comment about being sad I couldn't have the stuff that wasn't cooked and I'm so thankful she told me they would cook any protein I was looking at. The pricing is a little expensive but if I'm going to love every bite of my food then it's worth it! Also the strawberry horchata was delicious and I loved every bite of my aguachile. I can't wait to go back! The only reason for 4 stars is because the bathroom had a strong sewage smell, hopefully that was fixed

Fresh off the plane and starving. Found this spot near my hotel. The whole plate was beautifully presented and absolutely tasty. The fish was flavorful and perfectly seasoned with extra garlic, with the sautéed onions adding a great touch. The rice was tasty and complemented the fish nicely, while the fresh salad and grilled lemon brought a refreshing balance to the meal. A special shout-out to Frankie for the excellent service. She was friendly, attentive, and made the dining experience even better. Great food, great service, and a very enjoyable dinner. I would definitely come back!

So the sign outside says Mas Fuego and have been wanting to try. I guess it was renamed. On Yelp it says Mas Fuego is permanently closed and this place should probably be too. The service was horrible. It started out good; they were nice and smiles and seated us right away. It is nicely decorated but the music was so loud you couldn't have a conversation. We were sat there for a good 10-15 minutes and no one ever came to get our drinks or order even when a waitress came by and was serving the table behind us. She didn't stop at ours and just ignored us as she walked by Very disappointed. We ended up walking out and didn't get a chance to try the food so no reviews on that.

First time here and was not disappointed. Came on a friday afternoon and it wasn't busy surprisingly. The food was amazing. The ambiance was really nice. Definitely will recommend and return.

The food was delicious. I don't remember the name of the foods we ordered but was tasty. Our server Mirta Castaneda was excellent. She was very kind, and nice. She was able to help us explain the sushi we've ordered. The restaurant was decorated so beautiful. Very high class.

Molcajete advertised to have nopales , but didn't have them because " they were out "
Brianda M.

Came here with high hopes, but unfortunately left pretty disappointed. The drink I ordered looked completely different from the picture on the menu - what I received was underwhelming and didn't match the presentation at all. I also ordered the molcajete, and it was missing nopales, which are typically a standard part of the dish. It felt incomplete and not true to what was advertised. This dish cost $68, there should have been better communication. Their reasoning was that they " were out " .This was only communicated once I asked and in no way was there an apology or any time of efforts to make this right . I visited this establishment at around 11am on a Sunday. Overall, the experience didn't live up to expectations. Hoping they improve consistency between what's shown and what's actually served.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant! From the moment the food arrived, you could tell it was crafted with care and authenticity. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of vibrant colors, and even better in flavor. The chef truly deserves recognition. The balance of spices was perfect -- bold but never overwhelming -- and each bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. the meats were tender and well-seasoned, and the salsas had just the right amount of heat. You can really taste the passion and skill behind every plate. It's rare to find food that feels both comforting and exciting at the same time, but this chef has mastered that balance. Thank you for creating such an authentic and memorable dining experience. I'll definitely be coming back!

I came to this restaurant for dinner, I don't have a high expectation, but I think the Mexican food shouldn't went wrong at all. The food is very disappointed. Definitely overpriced.

Maple Sage Fried Chicken. My favorite! The chicken is uniquely textured and the sweet sage flavor really makes it stand out. As a person who is actually not a big breakfast food fan, I think this dish has the right balance of breakfast hashbrowns, toast, and eggs mixed with "regular food," the chicken. 2. The strawberries and cream stuffed French toast was pretty good. One of my daughters had this dish and enjoyed it. 3. The house pancakes. My wife thought she has had much better classic pancakes at Orphan and Sunnyside, but they were decent. Probably would not get again. Great service as always. The server said the chicken fried steak was really good, so that was my choice. I thought that I would also enjoy the pork sausage gravy served on top of it since I love biscuit and gravy. I was quite disappointed in my choice because the steak as very tough, and dry, like it was not made in-house but probably frozen, and deep fried in house. The generous serving of gravy on top was lacking any flavor and was on the pasty side, so it didn't help the steak in any way. My toast was cold, which was not too much an issue, but the hardness of the toast was like day old left over toast. I told the server the steak was pretty tough but he chose to ignore my comment twice. I did like the potatoes, which were nice and crispy, but if anything, would've like a fresher piece of toast. One of our guest gave me her butter and that did not spread well on the hard toast. I took the steak home, and heated it a little because I was still hungry, but after one bite, I just tossed it. Just wasn't good. The guest next to me did order the omelette, and her omelette did look very good. I was just unhappy with my meal, for the price, which would've been worth it, if it were good.

Really fun little restaurant that really captures that homey Southern charm…read more We were seated right away, and the host was really nice and fun, offering his recommendations without us even having to ask. Our waitress came over shortly after. I see a lot of mixed reviews about the service, and I think some staff members are friendlier and more outgoing than others, but even the less friendly servers were still attentive, helpful, and quick. I think it just depends on who you get and whether you value a really friendly interaction or care more about the food and basic service. We tried a cappuccino since the host said they make all their coffee in-house, and it was pretty good, especially coming from someone who doesn't drink coffee. We chose the fried green tomatoes as our starter, and they were delicious. I'd never had them before but had always heard how iconic of a Southern dish they are. They were really well balanced with the aioli and feta, and the tomatoes themselves were juicy and fresh. I had to go with the shrimp po' boy, which was also really good. The shrimp were pretty big and tasted fresh, complemented well by the really light, airy, buttery bread and fresh vegetables inside. The fries were also a plus! I enjoyed everything I ordered and would definitely come back to try some other things. I will say it was a bit pricey for brunch for two people, with the bill coming out to around $80 with tip. I guess that's just the day and age we live in now, though. I thought the portions were decently sized. Not as huge as your typical diner portions, but still large enough that you could probably expect some leftovers.
