The spot itself is small, but it has a nice, chill vibe that makes you want to hang out for a while. The music was on point and added to the overall atmosphere. The place looks small from the outside but it has a decent intimate dining room. The decor is decent, the wooden tables stand out the most, divided by a piece of glass, nice touch. We ordered the elote, which was by far the best elote (Mexican street corn) I ever had. It was full with so much flavor. It made me upset that we ordered only one. I ordered Al pastor tacos and my lady ordered shrimp tacos. They didn't have the traditional green and red sauce, they had this mixed dipping sauce. Caution it's so spicy that you might yell for the waiter to bring you water (light weight I know). My tacos were decent, however when I saw other people's orders I kind of regretted my order. Lastly, my lady doesn't eat meat, and her shrimp had pieces of meat on it. Definitely some contamination going on back there. We just wanted to bring that to your attention. The waitress, she was amazing, coming to our table and making sure we were ok. She was very sweet. Oh yea, the food came out super fast. The wait wasn't too long.

Tacos does not come with any kinds of salsa like other Mexican places. Also becareful of their taco Tuesdays and the (+2.99 Platter) it's just an add on for beans and rice and a salad that they don't specify. I tried to get a refund for the platter because I didn't know and to just keep the tacos but they apparently can't do it cause it's "paid online". You might as well don't get scammed like me and order the lunch version on their menu since it's a cheaper version of the "platter +2.99" without the extra charge. They also do not answer their phone often so that should've kind of been my red flag for this place. Service was not the best and had not only me but a lot of other people waiting for a long time to get their food. I genuinely love Mexican food places so it saddens me that I had to write this review cause it was that bad.

We walked in and sat ourselves. The server came over with the menu and we decided to share the mixto fajitas. The server came and brought some complimentary chips and some beans with cheese on top. Very small serving but enjoyed the "starter". She then brought out our mixto fajitas with 3 homemade tortillas. They were a little thicker and puffier than regular tortillas. They were very good! We wished we had gotten one more so we could each have two. The amount of meat and veggies was perfect. Much more shrimp than I had anticipated. The shrimp were big, butterflied and flavorful. I can imagine other dishes on the menu being very good. The decor was festive. There is a TV that is blaring which was a little distracting. They have a few cases with drinks and some desserts and Mexican snacks. We would definitely go back.

Out of all of my visits, my favorite is the weekend brunch menu. There are so many yummy things to choose from like the breakfast burrito, the banana Forester French toast, the various of Benedict's including crab, and there were a bunch of various breakfast sandwiches, but the most menu appealing one that I liked is the pork roll. On my last trip I wound getting a chicken brie apples bacon on brioche bread. It was a special of the day. From the moment I bid into it, I knew I would love it for the savoriness, the crisp and sweet tasting bread. There was a side of potatoes... Very nicely seasoned and the perfect crunch to them. On my last visit, it was a total of 10 people in our group and the customer service was great. We were all able to pay with separate checks... Always a perk. The waiter was super super friendly and kept our coffee refills going. Inside it is busy which could lead away from the quiet ambience, but I didn't mind it at all.

Former home vibe, i was one of the earliest weekday diners. Since it a solo dinner, I opted for a few sides: Kimchi rice Cucumber salad Brussel sprouts (no meat or butter) The cucumber salad was so good, I ordered a second portion!! The tofu burnt ends and bbq jack fruit sounded so intriguing that I almost begged the kind server to ask the chef if they could serve a side portion. Otherwise the bbq is served in pound increments. For my lucky tummy, they obliged and wow those are both delicious vegan options! Maybe next time, i will visit here earlier during my trip to be able to take home leftovers. Booth was cozy and love that water bottle to refill my glass is on my table which sounds weird but I drink alot of water! Small place , would recommend reservations for weekend dining. Parking lot was limited too. Enjoy!
