Hands down the best Mexican food in South Jersey. Every dish is made with authentic flavor, and the people is just as impressive--genuinely warm and welcoming. Today's special, mixiotes, was absolutely phenomenal--tender, flavorful, and unlike anything you'll find elsewhere around here. I've tried nearly every so-called Mexican spot in the area, and nothing comes close to the real-deal experience this place delivers. You can taste the heart and soul in every bite. This is the kind of small, hardworking local business that truly deserves our support.

Was hoping for it to be a bit better, shrimp tacos were decent pork tacos were a miss. Drunk college kids will definitely enjoy this; a-little pricey for one taco. Id definitely go back again though to try more on the menu.

Carne asada burrito and nopales huaraches

What an amazing addition to the area! This is real deal authentic Mexican food... even better than what i ate in Mexico which was darn good. I've ordered the burrito which comes w fries. It's perfect. Everything is so fresh - it's one of the best I've had in the country, whether Bay Area, SoCal, Chicago, Sonoran Arizona, nyc Burroughs. The fries are also spectacularly delicious. The chili verde and rojo dips are delicious and so fresh. My husband ordered huaraches (open corn based flat bread which here is homemade) piled with cactus/nopales, Mexican cheese (queso fresco), refried beans, mozzarella, mushrooms, and corn. It was divine - again, so fresh especially the corn handmade base. I highly recommend the Jamaica drink which is a sweet hibiscus drink, in this case not too sweet. The flavors are complex, fresh and spot on. The ambiance is warm and hospitable. The owner, Petra, harkens from Puebla, best known for 'mole poblano' and it's famous food (and chefs - in many nyc restaurants). The decor is also quite modern Mexican and lovely. The food stays fresh to go, and even better eaten in person! On weekends, they make tamales which we are looking forward to trying. Thank you, Vicki's, for your delicious homemade food!

Grabbed take out for the first time. Very good burrito and tacos. Love the corn tortillas. The rice and beans were very good too.

Very good food could possibly be better than Mariachi also in Glassboro Nj. I don't feel like writing 85 words to describe this place

However, the portions were very limited in comparison to the price. I think they are getting a little greedy with pricing and portions. One person in my party ordered the mixed fajitas and it's was more than $20 for about a 6oz a chopped meats with vegetables, a hand full of rice and half a cup of refried beans. The person in my party that received the food looked at it, look up at me and said "really". Another person said "isn't that more than $20?". The person that ordered it cringed and apologized for ordering since we were paying. Another person ordered a burrito and it came all by itself on a plate. The put nothing to even make it look good. Another order was tacos and the meat was not even hot. Soft drinks came to $8 for the large and $6 for the small. Place hadn't been bad before reason why we decided to go this time, but I felt like I got robbed. Tab came to $100, when in other places that serve high quality food would charge $80 or less for the same things we ordered. The place looks nice though and the service was good. I just think those prices need to be checked or the portions need to be larger. I have been to the Mariachi Loco in Hammonton and with this kind of tab I would have fed an extra person or two.

Unfortunately, this was our last visit here. We're over it. We ordered to-go at 6:11pm for a pick…read moreup time by 6:26. My husband gets there to get our dinner...for us and 2 of our children. The oldest is working. When he arrived, Dane came up and asked his name and checked for our online order. He ended up bringing food back for 2 other customers then proceeded to ask "what's your name again?" My husband repeated his name and he went to the back to check on it again. Several more minutes pass and Hailey comes and asks "what's your name again?" Once again, he tells her his name and she goes to the kitchen, comes back and asks to see the order. At that point , he clicked the order on his phone along with the confirmation text and showed her both. She then goes back to the kitchen, comes back out and continues her job as a server with constant eye contact and no interaction. Unbelievably, then comes back for a FIFTH TIME ATP AND ASKS HIS NAME AGAIN. Hailey then pulls up a tablet, finds his name, goes back to the kitchen, comes back after almost 40 minutes total at this point, and asks if we want a refund tomorrow. SERIOUSLY?!? Then has the audacity to become more and more combative like we have done something wrong as opposed to being apologetic. SMH. My husband tells them to make the food instead of a refund because we were actually hungry and have been traveling all day. He comes back to pick it up 10/15 minutes later and was given our "order" by new guy Joel (finally a helpful one). My husband thanked him for taking accountability and attempting to correct the situation. You would think it was over now, right? Food in hand. Headed home. Good. NOPE. My husband had to go back. Our 13yr olds Birria tacos weren't there and neither was the dressing for my salad. Or the extra we paid for. Lastly, I ordered a fajita salad. Aren't the peppers and onions supposed to be cooked/grilled something? See pics. Full transparency, they did try to compensate with free dessert but, this was way too much. And the dessert came before they forgot a whole meal. Oh and when I called back to explain the issues, I got to speak with the sweetest peach - insert sarcasm - Naomi. She spelled her name out nicely for me and then hung up on me, instead of again, either being apologetic or taking accountability for your company. I wasn't even being nasty because I knew we had to get more food that my son would be ingesting. It's not personal sweetheart, if you work in an industry that customer based, be ready to accept feedback. Good or bad.

The building itself is a festive bright Orange color. I was greeted warmly by the owner as I walked on. The dining room had about a dozen tables but I got our order to go. It had an open kitchen with a small bar section so you could eat right where they cook. It was decorated in traditional Mexican decor. Now for the food, I ordered the enchiladas , one with Verde sauce and the other with Molé. The food smelled wonderful as I opened the bag and it looked just as delicious. The tortillas were fresh and homemade and the flavor was on point. The verde sauce had a great flavor and had just enough kick to make me know there was some spice. It was covered in lettuce and cheese and specked with diced tomato. The chicken was moist and tasty. The Molé sauce was deep and rich and had excellent flavor. It came with beens and rice. The beans were light colored and not black beens and the rice was standard Mexican rice. Overall it was really good. I will be going back again. They accepted debit cards but also had an ATM in the corner. The only drawback is that they didn't have any menus to give me so I will have to search that up on the inter webs. A small inconvenience for a wonderful meal.
