There's also a mild salsa (with large chunks of onions) and black refried beans that comes with the chips. Both were decent. I ordered the chicken enchilada burrito without cheese and sour cream I added a side of rice since the burrito doesn't come with rice inside. The rice is almost certainly precooked and isn't cooked at the restaurant. It has peas and carrots in it like something in the frozen section at the grocery store. It wasn't bad, but certainly nothing to brag about. The waiter was friendly and attentive. I would come back since the food is so low cost.

We enjoyed sitting on the patio-- even in August, it cooled off as the sun was setting (which was gorgeous). Our margaritas were great. I had smoked pineapple and it reminded me of a mezcal marg. We also had the trio dip, and those black beans are phenomenal! Loved the decor of the restaurant, and the bathroom is big, clean, and cute (you know girls love a good restroom). We stopped in here for lunch and ended up with a sampling of what in my opinion is probably the best example of cajun food done right in Houma and for miles around - everything was delicious and the service from Sarah L was outstanding. We started with the Charbroiled Oysters served with toasted french bread, the plump Louisiana oysters were succulent and dipping the french bread in the cajun butter became an obsession, definitely a must do starter - I wasn't leaving here without trying their chicken and sausage gumbo, perfect texture and complex flavors it will make you a believer, my hats off to the chef, definitely authentic - the fried catfish filets and jumbo fried shrimp platters were outstanding although we didn't do it these are the foundation of an amazing po-boy (maybe next time) - all the sides were exceptional from the fried okra and onion rings to my personal favorite the skillet fried potatoes and who could leave without a few beignets served hot covered in powdered sugar - what a meal they should have a place to lay down in the back for a "cajun nap". In my opinion if you craving some authentic cajun dishes you can't go wrong here, the portions are nice and the prices are very reasonable. Our schedule didn't allow us to return as we had planned but will definitely return when we are back in the area...
