I tried Taco Moro Lakeview for the first time today since they opened this location a few months ago. I ordered DoorDash & walked to pick it up. I ordered the 3 taco meal. Steak, Chicken & Beef Birria tacos with rice, beans & limes. Yum yum yum. All 3 were delicious but If I had to choose my fave, I'll take the Beef Birria with a side of consomme, for dipping. Very tasty packing tons of mexican flavors. I also ordered a side of chips & salsa. The chips were ok (a little stale) but the salsa was fabulous. Very fresh tasting & not too hot but a nice subtle kick for good measure. Overall, I'll be coming back when I want some really good Mexican street tacos (onions & cilantro only). My next visit will be for a burrito, tostada or torta. And a bottle of Mandarin Jarrito. They have several small tables if you want to dine-in and 2 picnic tables for eating outside. I am a super picky eater and especially picky about the quality of meat in my tacos (often chewy, fatty, sinewy) and all three beef taco options I tried were outstanding! I ordered the steak, barbacoa and quesabiria and all three were fresh, tender and well seasoned. The rice was also delicious.
