I've been here twice and I'm loving it so far! Dishes are prepared fairly quickly. From what I understand, Halal meat is used. There's several salsas to choose from. The staff is friendly. I've lived near this place for a while and finally got around to trying it. I ordered 2 veggie tacos and a chicken taco, my fiancé ordered a chicken quesadilla. We loved it all! However, next time i'm going to go for the quesadilla. The tortilla was perfectly crispy and the cheese was melty goodness. We ordered online for pick up and it was ready before the time we were given which was awesome! Friendly service. We will absolutely order from them again. I ordered for delivery, it's okay. The quesobirria taco was my favorite, I wish I did 3 of them. The steak was solid in flavor but nothing special. Everything could use more salt. The elote looked good but the corn was too hot causing the mayo to just become oily corn with some cheese so very disappointing :( read more

We were looking for a halal place Mexican restaurant for quite some time now and think we found the place! The food is authentic and really well seasoned. Plus the amazing salsa's really provide a great flavor to the food. We ordered the chicken burrito, taco dinner (2 steak and 1 chicken) and 1 quesobirria taco. All of it was really good. Highly recommended. The service was fast and is really helpful with navigating the menu. The ambiance was very chill and the place is very clean. This place is a hidden gem! I can't believe theres finally Zabiha halal mexican food in the city. Staff was extremely polite and the food was amazing and tastes very authentic. I can't wait to bring my whole family here thank you guys for opening! This made my day. I ordered a steak burrito, barbacoa tacos, and chips with guac. I tried Taco Moro Lakeview for the first time today since they opened this location a few months ago. I ordered DoorDash & walked to pick it up. I ordered the 3 taco meal. Steak, Chicken & Beef Birria tacos with rice, beans & limes. Yum yum yum. All 3 were delicious but If I had to choose my fave, I'll take the Beef Birria with a side of consomme, for dipping. Very tasty packing tons of mexican flavors. I also ordered a side of chips & salsa. The chips were ok (a little stale) but the salsa was fabulous. Very fresh tasting & not too hot but a nice subtle kick for good measure. Overall, I'll be coming back when I want some really good Mexican street tacos (onions & cilantro only). My next visit will be for a burrito, tostada or torta. And a bottle of Mandarin Jarrito. They have several small tables if you want to dine-in and 2 picnic tables for eating outside. We've ordered twice already. They don't skimp on the quality -- even the rice and beans are delicious. The burritos are tightly wrapped, which makes them easy to eat. I'm not normally a churros fan, but these are damn good. I'm so happy this place is in the neighborhood. Quick note: The restaurant itself doesn't have many tables. Holy crap this place is amazing!!! I am a super picky eater and especially picky about the quality of meat in my tacos (often chewy, fatty, sinewy) and all three beef taco options I tried were outstanding! I ordered the steak, barbacoa and quesabiria and all three were fresh, tender and well seasoned. The rice was also delicious. We rarely order tacos in our house because of my pickiness and this place will be added to our regular rotation. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. Keep making great food! Our office ordered a few things: a chicken torta, a steak torta, and a chicken taco bowl. The good: their chicken which I believe is pollo tinga ( I could be wrong) is good and juicy. Not knock your socks off, but hey, its chicken and definitely better than most other taqueria joints in the area. The better: their salsa verde. Its quite delicious. Great acidity and just the right amount of spice. My favorite in the area. We drowned all of our meals in this stuff The best: Their steak is AWESOME! Its charred to perfection, the meat is tender and its impressively flavorful. I also really appreciated how packed in the torta was. Many other spots casually put all the goodies in the center which makes for uneven bites. But here the avocado, cheese, tomato, and sour creme were spread evenly so each bite was delicious and consistent. Will certainly come back to try the birria which everyone raves about. Great addition to Lakeview !! I tried their tacos and burritos, i can tell they use quality meat not cheap meat to make huge profit. The shrimp was good but I prefer it cooked even lighter if possible. Flavor was good tho. The rice was long grain, which I prefer, but they do give quite a lot, I ended up having quite a lot leftover. I wish the had a bit more cilantro or other herby mix to increase the depth of flavor, but overall still pretty good. Queso was also really good, thick and creamy, not too salty, but sadly the kids didn't like it as much. Husband also liked the gochujang pork a lot, said it was actually really really good. Overall, we really enjoyed everything we had there. Love that they also had paper towels everywhere. My preferred method of keeping clean haha. Will definitely come back.
