After eating twice from here I can definitely say the food is delicious. My wife ordered through Uber eats both times. I've so far tried the burrito delicious, the tacos delicious, and the gordita very delicious but very spicy. I haven't gone to the restaurant yet but I definitely love their prices and food so far. After a few years away I finally went back today! The tacos were still as delicious as ever! I couldn't even wait to eat them!!! Chips are awesome and crunchy! The salsas are amazing. But my favorite are the pickled veggies! The flavor of everything is so authentic! I had machaca tacos today! I could easily have eaten 4. 2 each of machaca and carnitas! Service was great. I love that I live so close to this place. It is so good. They have some of the best tacos and burritos. They have lots of items but that is what my boyfriend and I usually get. Everything tastes so fresh and they give you super reasonable amount of food. Prices are fair and pretty average especially with how much you get. You almost miss the place in the little plaza it is in. It is a few doors down from 7-11. The service is always good. Lines move quickly. You will probably see who I assume may be the owner, always on the grill and a hostess taking the orders. Its a small place, but there is several tables to eat at. They also have a small sauce station. Parking can be a pain. It is an older plaza, so the parking spots are limited. You most likely can still spot the place with the Christmas decorations still in the window. read more

I've lived one block away from this place for the past 10 years, and it is my go-to spot. Whether I order a bunch of tacos a la carte to enjoy with some friends around the pool, or my usual 3 taco combo. The Al Pastor tacos are my favorite but I also love the chicken, carnitas, and asada. (Always with onions and hot sauce!) Like some other reviews, I have noticed the prices went up in the last few years but let's be real - the pandemic wiped out so many local spots. Show me a restaurant that didn't raise the cost of their food to keep up. This place now accepts card (and is no longer cash only) so I'm sure that contributed to prices as well. That said, the combos and meals are still VERY reasonably priced for hot, delicious food. The staff is always prompt and helpful, I don't expect them to be my best friend, just to make my food. The reviews that say "staff was rude" are pretty baffling. Have you tried tipping? That always makes employees nicer. Hah. I brought my cousin in there to have one of her first tacos ever in America, and she was completely disgruntled and appalled at the lack of service. First of all the meat was poorly seasoned. I actually ordered delivery from another restaurant for Cinco De Mayo using Grubhub, at 6:30, for an 8:00 delivery. My daughter really wanted queso dip, so we ordered from the only restaurant around that had it. I was starving at 7:30 when I got a text saying my order had been cancelled. I was really hangry, and didn't want to wait another hour or more to get delivery, so I went here because it's the closest Mexican restaurant to us. I forgot how much we love the food and service here! We didn't get the queso, but the chicken tacos were delicious!!! I didn't have to wait long, and as usual, the service was wonderful. My friend and I walked around in this neighborhood, it was a very lovely and warm day in the valley. My gf wanted Mexican food so we chose this lil hole in the wall. The guys who were working this evening were very welcoming and friendly. I ordered the fish, and my friend ordered the tacos and tamarind juice. The fish I ordered was tilapia, it was super crispy and not bad at all. It was bit of a challenge to eat. I ate it plain without the tortillas so I wouldn't be bloated. My gf loved her tacos. There was another couple ahead of me, tick tick, so I cut my losses and went next door to Taco Llama. Well hello. Now these two places share a common wall but couldn't be farther apart. Israeli flag painting on the left side of the wall and Mexico representing on the right. Walk in, look ahead. A porcelain figure of a crucificed Christ was bolted to the wall next to the flat screen playing a WILD film on Telumoooondo about prisoners and their corrupted keepers, blasting. I must say that I endeared myself here. I'm probably not the common type who walks in and orders a number 11. "The Burrito?" He clarifies. No, the fish. The Mojarra. Fried whole - and an horchata. The drink came and I sat down to take in the movie. At one point the General in the movie is being accosted by chained prisoners. "Maricones!" he shouted. I don't know a lot of Spanish, but this surprised me and I let out a delighted laugh. Crazy. So I think they liked that. Soon enough, the fish came out looking just like the painted one on the specials chart. They ushered my attention to the salsa bar. I loaded up and sat down to dig into this hot juicy morsel. I wanted this moment to last forever but cruel fate only gave me 15 minutes of heaven. Not sure if this is the way, but I tossed the utensils and went hands in. The bones meant I had to be careful, but I became one with that fish. Every part had something special to offer. The tail had a darker meat. The middle had tufts of white meat without bones that I could hide into the corn tortilla for later as a taco. Rice, beans, salad, tortillas.. this was a meal for a king and a peasant. This was why I came. This was a true hit. I gathered my treasure together for dinner and rushed off back to the office, buckling my dear pisces friend in to its own seat. But before I left, I cleaned my table out of respect for my new friends who took a chance on this unlikely candidate and as I left I shouted with nearly teary eyes. "It was so delicious. I will be back." If you want some diversity, and perhaps a religious experience, I suggest you visit this mini mall where an orthodox Jewish fish market shares a wall with a Catholic themed Latino place, next door to a Sri Lankan or Bangladeshi 7-11. For a "cash only" business, their prices are way too high. The presentation of the food was a big pile of slop; meat was not tender, but rather chewy. The salsa bar had only two types of salsa, and pickled onions and jalapeños. It looked like it had been sitting out there for quite awhile. The place is a hole in the wall, but the interior was quite dirty. ATM charged me an extra five dollars to withdraw 20 dollars. Did not make the "cash only" salient on the exterior but rather hanging above the cash register. Twenty five dollars for two people is way too much for a cash only business if you ask me. Won't be coming back here. Could have saved the ten dollars by eating at virtually any food truck, and for higher quality as well. read more

I love Mexican food!! But I am a little picky when it comes down to it because I HATE when the meat has little chunks of fat in it. This place has the cleanest and most delicious carne asada than any other places that I have been to hands down. I have tried most of the stuff on the menu here because this is my go to Mexican food place and everything is delicious here. My favorite dish is the burrito mojado and the chile rellenos. I have tried many or both of those dishes in my day and this one is my favorite because the cheese they use is so delicious and the sauce is so tasty. It also is not spicy which is good for me. The people that work here are very nice and never look at me weird because I am Filipino. In fact, I always see a lot of white people and other races there. The food here is just delicious and if you try it, I guarantee you will not go anywhere else so with that being said it is worth a shot. read more
