The menudo was not good. At best it was passable. There's some kind of spice that stood out and a lot of tendon, much more than actual menudo. The tortillas they gave were freaking microwaved. Really!?!?!? Yes microwaved. If it's one thing I cannot stand is microwaved tortillas. And for that, I would never return. How much longer does it take to put tortillas on a COMAL!?!?! Small and cozy little birria place. Food was good and service was ok. You order at the counter and look for a place to sit down. They have 4 tables so chances are you won't find seating if you go during the early mornings. I came in a Saturday morning and had a craving for birria so we came to check out this little spot. The quesadillas were big and the burrito came with consomé on the side. We also got the birria platter but you have to order rice and beans on the side which we did not like. Absolutely NOT! We saw this place on TikTok. The videographer did a good job selling this place. Greasy! Dirty and sticky seats and tables. A simple little bowl of menudo is $15. They give you 3 little tortillas. If you want more thats an additional charge. Missing seasoning. Had to add salt because it was just flavorless. No hominy in their menudo. The Birria "ramen" $10 was greasy af too. Its just instant cup of noodles!!! I thought actual ramen noodles like i've had at other places. Your cholesterol will be high after eating this. Absolutely delicious!!! Such friendly service, everything we ordered lived up to the hype. The cleanest and most delicious menudo broth . the birria and tendon taco was off the charts tasty. The handmade tortillas, ever so meaty and tender birria mixed in with the yummy tendon was awesome. Then came the birria ramen. Another delicious broth, ample tender birria. Let me tell you... it had a big piece of pata, lots of nervio and a good amount of tripa. They are definitely not stingy with their portions. Went this morning after seeing all the good reviews, paid about 50 for 1 Hoya full and 2 birriah tacos the tacos were good lots of flavor , but the menudo was a rip off they promised nervio and Pata. We literally just got broth and 1 Pata very lil nervio and stomach. I also thought I paid extra for hand-made tortillas and ended up getting store bought wtf is that about . Today's visit was disappointing, the corn tortillas lacked salt, and they were not seasoned with any birria broth. The meat was tender but lacked the soaking of birria broth. The young man & girl said that they do not apply any birria broth to the tortillas because the handmade corn masa won't withstand it. These were not the style of Birria Tacos I had on the 2nd day of their opening, a mature man served them the same way as their stand at the other location & exactly how "MexiPapa had on TikTok.
