I had to pick up a friend who had had a procedure as they do not allow public transportation such as Uber. I was called regarding the pickup time and left the house to go get her. On the way there the Endoscopy Center called and asked me if I had arrived. I said no, I haven't called you yet so I am not there; I'm on my way. I arrive at the facility and there is no signage that you have reached the Endoscopy Center; just the Urgent Care facility. So I park where I was told, in the handicapped section and called to let them know I had arrived, only to get a recording that they were currently closed. Tried calling my friend, no answer. Tried getting help from the Urgent Care facility with no luck. Waited some more, called again and finally my friend called and came out in a wheelchair with one of the staff. So an errand that should have taken me 30 minutes round-trip, tops, took twice that long. I cannot believe that a business operates like this! If I were in charge this type of thing would not have happened. Since they knew she was being discharged after they had closed (at 3:30!), why didn't they give me another number to call? Complete inefficiency and a blatant disregard for people including the patients. read more
