Moving in to the area and was super excited to try this little hidden gem and of course I turned to Yelp. Let me start by saying the Salsa is sooooo good. Fresh and delicious. My sister said it tasted just like mine. The chips were perfect and the bean dip served with the chips and salsa was tasty. We agree with the other reviews about the queso. It's good but is missing something. We ordered the enchiladas and they were served quick and we really enjoyed them. The service is amazing. Highly recommend.

We found this place on Yelp, and I wasn't even looking for Tex-Mex. However, almost every review of this hidden gem was 5 stars! Out in the middle of nowhere, an old Grandy's where we used to stop for the restroom on our trips into FW. When we pulled up, the windows to the back of the gas station was cracked. So, this place was completely sketch by all stretches of the imagination in my book. Man, was I wrong! Once we braved to go inside, the nicest lady named Abby greeted us and took excellent care of us! We were seated, given the menus. Warm chips with salsa and the yummiest black bean dip was brought out! When I requested if they had a spicy salsa, Abby smiled widely, and scurried off! It was delicious... not an up front heat, but a grilled onion forward salsa, with the nicest warming notes on the back end... on a cold day (38 degrees) it was a pleasant surprise! Off came the jacket! We added queso the chips, which was nice, but nothing to write home about. The the entree's. The wife had La Gran Adela, which was two deep fried flautas, with chicken, cheese, jalapeno and bacon bits. The filling had been "pulsed" but not "puree'd", so everything came together in sort of a pate'... the filling was out of this world, and you got a taste of everything you were after in every bite. The wife admitted, she was taken back because she was expecting dry stringy chicken, but that's not what she got. I had the La Gloria, three chicken enchiladas with mole, verde (tomatillo), and sour cream sauces. I'm not the world's biggest fan of mole', because throwing chocolate chips into bean dip does not make mole' in my opinion. I would not have ordered it on it's own, but I'm glad I did. There was a smoky barbeque hint to hit, but at least it wasn't melted chocolate chips.... I really enjoyed it a LOT! If I would have read the reviews, I might've tried to the Abby's shrimp (since Abby WAS our waitress!!), and I WILL be back for the ultimate test: the fajitas! So far, so good... 5 STARS Simple food, prepared great, with happy staff... It's a winning combination!

Small restaurant connected to a Shell gas station. Complimentary chips, salsa, and black beans. Food was good and affordable. Service was quick and attentive. Usually not a place I would've stopped at, but it was good and the kids really enjoyed it.

Excellent lunch. I stumbled upon it due to yelp and I am so glad I did. It was a Grandys years ago, so I never think to stop anywhere around here but the reviews are completely on point. I got the combination fajitas and there was a lot of meat and flavor at the vegetables were cooked just right. the spicy sauce was very nice as were the Charro beans. Service was good. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. Good value for the money.

Mole in "Nowhere Texas?" Hell yea there is. GREAT Mole in fact. Big plus that this place is BYOB. The service is great and damn the enchilada's are good. Go now.

Servers are kind and attentive and the food was great! Cute little family owned restaurant near home. Definitely recommend. No liquor so BYOB.

100% favorite place. I order something new every time and it never disappoints. Seriously. Margaritas are also delicious. They give you chips with black bean dip and salsa when you sit down and my daughter LOVES the bean dip. It is delicious but I can only get one bite before she smashes them down lol. Honestly pricing is very affordable for the amount of good food, great service, adorable environment, and everything in a timely manner. I have seen it get PACKED during rush but I typically come when it's slow so that my daughter doesn't get overwhelmed and we can enjoy a peaceful lunch. My baby loves the staff that always greet her very warmly, she loves the attention they give her and I love seeing her smile every time they interact. I always tip as much as I can with any cash I have on me as it's the least I can do in return considering the pure joy I get to see on my daughter every time we visit is priceless. Also the margaritas are delicious

Their salsa and bean dip were different than I've had at other Mexican places which was nice. We ordered the chile con queso which was nothing special and would not recommend. Tasted like regular ball park nachos and cheese. We ordered the chicken fajitas for two - I'll begin with their overly sized tortillas. I don't see the reason behind this and they don't provide enough meat and onions for the use of all 6-8 tortillas provided. Ideally you and another person will eat 3 total before the meat is gone. Now - WHERE THE HECK are the onions. We were provided with such a small amount that we had to proportion it so we each got some. Ideally, it would only serve one fajita with the size of their tortillas. They should really figure out the portions here. SECOND - for it not being busy not sure why our food took an hour before we received it. It's like they could only prepare one tables food at a time. Our server didn't apologize until she handed us the bill. Will not be coming back as there are better Mexican options around.

In all my visits, I've only had one notably off experience when our server seemed to forget our table, though to be fair, they were juggling a large party. We decided to give it another shot, and honestly, I still stand by my solid 2.5 star rating, even accounting for that hiccup. The interior is exactly what you'd expect from a Mexican/Tex-Mex place...topped off with a dramatic, pointy chandelier in the center of the dining room. I personally refuse to sit beneath it as it triggers my anxiety, but it certainly makes a statement.

When I asked the server she said it was placed under a heating lamp. (Big NO NO) she said that's how they serve it. (I did try it but decided not to eat it, my husband ate it as he doesn't believe in wasting food, plus the server said that's how it's served and ended up a really bad stomachache later in the night that kept him up all night. My father also ate it and also reported an upset stomach.) I did tell the manager when he brought us our check that the ceviche was served to us very warm/hot but he didn't seem to care and kind of looked at me in disbelief as my husband and father had eaten it, understandable. He didn't say a thing just took my payment. The fajitas were decent but for the price I was expecting a better quality meat. The redfish taco was nice with the coleslaw. The grilled redfish was good but our salmon plate was sub par. It was old frozen salmon not fresh. Give 1 star due ceviche. Would have been 2 without out ceviche issues. Very disappointed.
