But Senorita's is a family-run taqueria that offers so much more than those wonderful things. Before it was Senorita's I enjoyed the space when it was El Limon and when they moved into a bigger space with better outdoor seating, it made sense that another local neighborhood-style taqueria was moving in. And all the good things I heard about the Havertown location of Senorita's had me especially looking forward to this one. The Quesa Birria tacos were so majestic and juicy that I would have bathed in a tub of the birria consomme if I could, and the meat was especially juicy and tender! For my second visit, I went with my go-to order of shrimp enchiladas with mole, and theirs might just be the best mole that I've ever had! But with fajitas, burritos, ALL THE TACOS, and then some there's plenty of options to enjoy! For beverages, non-imbibers will enjoy fresh horchata and all the Jarritos. Meanwhile, imbibers will enjoy a decent margarita and a couple of other cocktails. But the best offering is the fact that they brew their own pale ale and refreshing lime cerveza for the win!

We also shared an empanada (there were 2) from the happy hour menu. The bar was lively, but once happy hour was over, we had made reservations to sit at a table in the attached dining room (the restaurant is small but there is a large outdoor patio). We started with the tortilla soup which could have used more cilantro, lime, and seasoning. The flavor was lacking. The same was true for the tiny bowl of ceviche I had as an entree for $18. It needed more cilantro, lime, and seasoning. Overall, that was the theme. More flavor, please. The dining room started to get loud, so fortunately we were finished. Next time, we'll just stay for happy hour.

Well besides my partner who doesn't drink during Ramadan so it was spirit-free for him. He tried the tropical avocado Fresca and the prickly pear lemonade. Yumm!! I'm normally a Cadillac Margarita girl as long as it's 100% blue agave and no box mix I'm good to go. I was a sucker for the Aztec Old Fashioned though and it was a great choice. Tuna tacos to die for. Overflowing with tuna. All the other tacos I tried I loved and pour me some of that hot salsa please. Staff was great and friendly. Happy to be there!

I had a prickly pear spritz mocktail. It was tasty and refreshing. The menu had 4 different mocktails and all sounded good! I also had the birria tacos. They were delicious. The consommé to dip them in was flavorful. The tacos had a lot of meat. The manager also comped a tres leche dessert! This version had a strawberry jam center with strawberries and whipped cream on top. It was good but I'm not a big fan of tres leche. It's a little too soggy for me. The strawberries and whipped cream were fresh. It was a great birthday treat!

Seems my red sangria ($11, tasty but not worth a second one) wasn't on special anyway regardless of day, and son ordered a Pink Pony Club cocktail $13 which was really fun. We dove straight into entrees, son ordering the non-traditional cheese steak quesadilla and absolutely raving about it. Not bad for a kid who was an insanely picky eater as a child! His girlfriend chose the pork carnitas, with 3 corn tortillas underneath it made succulent tacos. Husband had the enchiladas de pollo, a nice plate of chicken tinga and corn tortillas with crumbled cheese over red sauce. Interesting none of these dishes include a side but the individual prices are around $15. I had the 3 blackened mahi tacos, and found them to be really dry. I asked for some salsa. Waiter brought out a fabulous roasted salsa that I literally wanted to drink what was left after I put it on my tacos. Bravo! Only bad thing was the $1.75 up charge we found on the bill for the morita salsa was not mentioned before it was delivered to our table. I let it go because the salsa was so excellent. It was not a bad meal, but $97. And because it was more than $50 they added a 20% gratuity automatically. It is at least highlighted on the bill so you don't pay it twice. Service was fast and efficient. We had paid for an hour and a half of parking and needed only 45 minutes, not a busy place on a Sunday night in 100° so service and kitchen were speedy. I look forward to coming back on our next visit to Manayunk and trying the happy hour!

The decor was so fun and detailed, you could tell each piece told a story. They had a full bar. A few slot machines or games in the back. Two huge TVs on the wall The sounds of Mexican music playing throughout. My server came right over to take my order. I ordered the birras tacos and the guacamole & chips, and a Mexican coke. The guac & chips came first, I could tell the chips were homemade and fried. The guacamole was very creamy. I like mines a little chunky but it was fresh and delicious. The tacos arrived. I've never had birras outside of my home. The flavor profile was mild and confirmed I'd been making them correctly. The consommé good mild also and a little oily on top. Everything was fresh. Next time I'll try the birria Ramen. Now let's talk about these prices! Of course the things I wanted was not on the lunch menu. They are pricey. That bill can add up quick if you're trying different things. My lunch came to about $40 . I didn't get a lot, seems like everything is à la cart. I'm gonna give them 4 stars only because of pricing .. I feel like the tacos should have came with a side of rice or beans. My waiter was good very attentive. Definitely a place that probably jumping on a fri or Sat night.

The first time I walked into the restaurant to order takeout - I ordered fish tacos and loaded nachos with chicken... The cashier was pleasant and helpful... When I opened my food and hubby opened his, we were pleased with the presentation AND the taste matched! I didn't try his fish tacos but he did comment on how good they were (and he ordered them on our second visit); my loaded nachos were amazing and what I loved most is that while there are a lot of fixings on the nachos, they did not get soggy - it was the perfect amount of fixings and the flavor was perfection! And my appetite was satiated after...The chicken was thinly sliced but not too thin, all of the ingredients married together for an excellent fiesta of goodness! I was highly satisfied. The second time that I ordered from here hubby ordered fish tacos (again) and I had chicken tacos and a side order of tortilla chips and salsa. Everything tasted fresh and delicious again! This may be my new fave "go to" when I'm undecided on what to eat. I can't speak to dining in as both times I had take out however, from what I experienced when I did walk in, the atmosphere was upbeat and relaxed and the restaurant appeared clean from what I saw.
