First time eating here, despite it being not far from home. The service here was super friendly and accommodating. From ordering, to refilling beverages to checking on us throughout the meal - always friendly and helpful. Food was delicious! To start, the chips, salsa and bean dip were wonderful. Tasted really fresh. I ordered the Azteca Molecajete and it was super tasty. The steak and chicken were perfect and I really enjoyed the Molecajete salsa. I was able to taste some carnitas nachos were were also amazing. Overall, a great experience and nice to find such a gem so close to home. read more

My girlfriend and I tried El Rincon for the first time this past weekend. We enjoyed the decor and layout of the place. They have booths as well as tables that can accommodate large groups. There are several TV's for watching sports. The service was friendly, prompt and seamless in spite of having a team of three servers helping us. We had the house margaritas and they arrived quickly and they were good. I had the Dos Amigos combo- chili relleno, carnitas enchilada, rice and beans. Very good. My girlfriend had the steak fajitas and she loved them. The serving sizes were more than adequate. Thankful that we found this East Ventura gem. read more

Service is great, we were greated & seated as soon as we walked in. Servers were friendly, funny, and very attentive. The food was so delicious. I love this place, the food is amazing and so is the service! The aguachiles are the best in Ventura! The tortillas they use for the tacos aren't tiny ones, they're the slightly bigger ones and they are PACKED w meat! Also the best in Ventura! Don't even get me started w the micheladas, so much flavor in their mix. One last honorable mention, the molcajetes! So good and honestly my favorite in Ventura, probably the cheapest too! The service was great! The ambiance was wonderful! The food was fantastic! Corn burritos that have lots of delicious beans, melted cheese and choices of sauces (red, green or salsa). A friend took us here for brunch and we all loved it. Our food was delicious as was their salsa and bean dip. I've beeen looking for a "restaurant style" salsa I liked from somewhere local and I finally found it! Not too mild, not too hot. And, when I went to go buy a bucket of it for home, it came with chips and I found out you can also get their bean dip and guac for home. Win! Friendly service too. I know this place has gone through different names and owners but somehow I never got there until now. It's a great hidden gem place here in East Ventura where we tend to lack many places to go. We stopped in because it was close to our venue, and honestly, I'm blown away. The staff is so attentive and genuinely sweet, the atmosphere is welcoming, and then the food... wow. The presentation and seasoning were absolutely out of this world -- way beyond what you'd ever expect, especially at these prices. Speaking of prices, they are mind-bogglingly low. I kept double-checking the menu because it felt too good to be true for the quality and care that went into every dish. The best Tostada, filled with lots of flavors from the sweetness of the pineapple a bit of acidity of the lemon and to top it off with chili oil and avocado. Hits the spot with a nice cold michelada. The food is simply delicious. It's MEXICAN FOOD. I don't know why it only says drinks, though the drinks are outstanding. I've never tried anything that I didn't find amazing! But it's really the people that make El Rincon a gem. It's owned by 3 siblings who each work there, and it feels like you're in their home. They really make you feel like treasured guests and, if you become a regular, family. I love going there. For so many reasons. Tried El Rincon for lunch yesterday. Super yummy. I had the chicken chimchanga and it was great, filling, and very good flavor. I absolutely love there fresh salsa for the table it's not bland you can taste the fresh cilantro .
