When I walked into the restaurant, I was greeted by two wonderful hostesses and seated right away. Once I sat down, I had the pleasure of being served by Debbie. Not only did she keep it real about her menu favorites, but she was also funny and sweet. She helped me navigate the menu and made some great recommendations. I ended up ordering a cup of Louisiana Shrimp Gumbo along with the Fried Catfish and Shrimp plate, which came with red beans and rice and coleslaw. Everything was tasty. Just a heads-up, though: the gumbo has a little kick to it. The entire meal came to around $18, which felt like a steal. I spent my time watching the game, enjoying good conversation with Debbie, and just relaxing after a long travel day.
