    Shrimp mofongo Monfongo De Camerones
    Brittany A.

I had the shrimp Mofongo. Forgot to add the sauce that goes on top but it was SO good! My friend ordered on one of the many apps out there. They came quickly. Food was hot and ready even sitting around while I had to finish some work. They included fresh lime slices and these little containers of sauce (I think l hot sauce). The sauce was delicious too. Only slightly spicy but had a nice kick. I feel like when you order shrimp Mofongo some places try to charge an arm and a leg. This was reasonably priced and delicious. Definitely looking forward to ordering lunch here again.

My co worker orders from here all the time. I decided to order breakfast with him today i ordered a Bacon Egg and Cheese and Ham Egg and Cheese both on a roll ( I would save one for lunch) When the delivery came I was very surprised to see it was not on a roll but a long hero bread. The food was hot and fresh, the Ham and Bacon cooked to perfection and not salty at all . Delicious and well worth the $5 as other places I order, the sandwich comes on a smaller roll Thank You El Rey for breakfast this morning, will be ordering again

Have been there many times and they are very consistent with the good food and cocktails. My favorite it the shrimp mofongo with white sauce. Salads are also large and good.

I got a guava tres leches cake with my order and was excited to try it. I had a spoonful and thought, "Hey, this isn't very sweet at all....". But maybe it was my gringa tastebuds fooling me. I tried another bite. I was WRONG :((((((. Mold was inside my piece of cake, and I accidentally took two bites without realizing. This is NOT guava, people! That is a fungus tres leches cake. Everybody please pray for me, I will be in the bathroom all day tomorrow. Dios me bendiga.

This is a small Spanish sit down restaurant in Queens.Did takeout out goat with rice and beans. The food was really good however, I got a lot of bone pieces not enough meat. Overall, this place is well replenished in food from chicken to pork to goat.

A neighborhood favorite . I had the scrambled eggs, mangu(crushed plantains), beef salami with cheese breakfast dish . Definitely filling and am sure you'll probably have a late lunch after eating this. Good space for family and children as the space is abundant with 6 chair tables that can be pushed together or apart based on guest dining size .

    Skirt Steak & Butterfly Shrimp.

Skirt Steak was cooked a bit past my request for Medium to almost well done but was great. The Shrimp was butterflied and had a really good bite, I loved that I got the roasted Jalapeño with my order. Nice bite and would definitely order again, good helping of rice with beans on the side. Came on a Wednesday evening and was seated and greeted immediately. Vanilla Shake was done very well and a good compliment to everything else.

    mofongo con chicharron, take out.

Options were very limited so that was disappointing, we opted for the 1/2 price bottles of wine (also limited, 2 options). It was a quiet night so the bartender was also our waiter, he was great, very attentive and offered recommendations. Party of 6 we ordered a bunch of things and shared. The guacamole & mussels were very good, garlic shrimp were underwhelming. Tuna salad was huge, needed sauce or a better dressing. Dessert was disappointing (molten cake was cold, churros needed to be cooked more). Nice spot for a drink & app or a date but for dinner I'll stick to Tu Casa

The food menu looks amazing but we were just there for a night cap. I got the Cola de Leon with bourbon, lime and bitters. Damn was it perfect. The place is small, but has so much character. I'm obsessed and can't wait to come back for food.

I searched Yelp for Dominican restaurants and came across El Campeón de Los Pollos--and we were definitely not disappointed! I was especially impressed by how clean the restaurant was. The food was beautifully displayed buffet-style, and everything looked fresh and appetizing. You order and pay at the register, and they serve your food on a tray with your drink. I ordered a lunch with a drink for $16.33, which I thought was very reasonable considering how expensive everything is nowadays. The food was good, the portions were satisfying, and even the bathroom was very clean--which honestly made me happy! I would definitely come back. My only complaint is that it's a little far from me! It's right in front of a bus stop and next to a school. There were so many options. I settled for Combo 2, which includes 1 whole chicken, rice, beans, small salad and soda. The chicken was a bit dry and the pieces were huge. The rice and beans were really tasty, the beans had so much flavor. The salad was simple and small. I tried the Colombia coke and it was a cream soda, very refreshing with the meal. I also ordered a medium oxtail with rice and it was $14. The huge amount was pretty worth it. They didn't skimp on the oxtail. It was more on the saltier side, but still very tasty. I will come again when I'm in the neighborhood and tried their soup. Next time I might even get a small size to try a bunch of other options.

After an appointment in the city, the Honey casually mentions he wants to have lunch here. Apparently, he discovered this neighborhood gem years ago when he worked in Queens. Uhh excuse me sir, you certainly have been holding out on me!! We walked in and were greeted promptly by Sophia who seated us. She returned shortly with a smile and asked if we wanted drinks? This part became easy once we opened the drink menu and saw Spicy Margaritas! That happens to be our thing. We started with the octopus and steamed clams appetizers. When I tell you that both of these dishes are bursting with incredible and delicious flavors! I suggest you save some of the warm bread they provide, to soak up the sauces. I was doing my happy dance, in between bites! My Linguini Com Frutos Do Mar entree' was bursting with fresh clams, mussels, shrimp and calamari. His Bacalhau Assado, with hot olive oil and garlic?
