Molcajete, Choriqueso,Pineapple Fajitas

All so delicious and quick service! Drove all the way from NOLA for this! The pineapple fajitas were phenomenal! I highly recommend this place!

I'm being extremely generous with the 3 stars. The only good thing here was the napkins! It was soft, white neatly folded into cute little triangles. -service 5 outa 10, she made the slanted eye gesture because we were Asians. But I'm guessing she's older so she didn't mean any harm, so I'll give her a pass. -food was trash, flavorless, cheap cuts of meat, rubbery, worse than Taco Bell, the water tasted good at least. Horchata was decent came in massive jugs per person. -ambiance 6 outa 10 felt like Mexico, like your in a dungeon with old greasy sticky heavy wooded tables and a leather menu.

We stopped here for dinner based on a recommendation from a local. I should've have trusted my "Yelpsie senses" based on the reviews. The service was great and waitress was super nice and prompt. However the watered-down margaritas and flavorless steak & shrimp with my fajitas were a definite miss. I probably wont try this place again but they did have reasonable prices and a military discount.

Pretty good mexican spot. The wait staff was attentive without being overbearing and the food arrived quickly. The complimentary chips and salsa were just ok. I ordered tableside guac that wasn't made tableside but was decent. It lacked seasoning. We ordered chimichangas, beef tongue tacos, and this giant melting pot of meats (I forget the name). The food was ok. I didn't like that the melting pot of meat, which is big enough to feed 3-4 people, only came with 3 tortillas. They charge $1 for an additional 3 tortillas. I've give this place another chance if in the area again.

My verde enchiladas made with canned? Chicken.

My first not so hot review here in Mississippi. Hubby wanted Mexican and while driving around found this place. I had the verde enchiladas. I was underwhelmed with the quality of the chicken. The meat had the look, taste, and texture of canned chicken. (Had my fill of canned chicken during Hurricanes Jeanne and Frances). The rice and beans were just Ok. At least it was not over salted. I ordered the happy hour margarita. It was mix with a little bit of tequila. Didn't order another.

$2.50 Happy Hour Margaritas

Great spot! Happy Hour Margaritas $2.50 are the BEST!!! If you are in Biloxi, stop by, you won't regret it!!!

Great lunch specials. I had the beef burrito, Tomales and crispy beef taco. Very good! Kat had shrimp skewers with guacamole salid. She lived both! Wait staff was prompt and curtious.

Stopped in here today. I was in a "hangry" moment. Hadn't eaten breakfast. This place seemed it would be good. The parkinglot was 1/2 full at lunchtime. Decor was your average mexican style place. Hostess was friendly and seated us promptly. I'm not a fan of pepsi products and all they had was pepsi. I prefer diet coke. Took a little longer than usual to get our drink order in. After that we waited. I noticed all the other tables had bowls of tortilla chips and salsa. Almost every mexican place I've been too, gives you complimentary chips and salsa. So out of curiosity, I got up and walked around the dining area. Every table had chips and salsa, even the people who came in after us. Everyone but us. So I pondered if , it was a side app that you order or if perhaps, it's not offered on Sunday. After 5 more minutes , I stopped our waitress and asked. She said it was coming right out. Lo and behold 2 minutes later, our waitress came out with the chips and salsa. My wife got the beef taco salad and I got a chicken fajita quesadilla. The food more than made up for the earlier lapse in service. It was quite good. I was disappointed that this restaurant doesnt have chicken tortilla soup. You would think this would be a standard. That's like going to an Italian restaurant that doesnt have garlic bread. Anyway, the food was good, service could use a Improvement, the prices were very good. I would eat here again.

The borrito I had to put the cheese dip on very pissed off

It should not take 30+ minutes for an order of cheese dip! And when it finally comes out we have no chips left and now have to wait for them :( It makes no sense at all. I also ordered cheese on my borrito and I had to use the cheese he final brought out for it!! Do not recommend to anyone in the area

If you come to this El Rancho ask for Gustavo to be your waiter but give him a hard time and be as difficult as can be but leave him a good tip he's just a senior trying to pay these ridiculous prices

Love the complimentary chips and salsa!

I think the carne asada tacos and menudo are great. Service is hit or miss. I've had great service some days and okay service others. I will keep coming back here for quick carne asada tacos and menudo for sure! I usually just order through the drive thru but when I have eaten inside the restaurant has been clean and comfortable.

I also took advantage of their lime margarita deal, which was a solid 2-for-1 for $8. Here is how the food stacked up: Tacos: The beef was a bit too moist for my preference, while the chicken unfortunately lacked seasoning. At $1.50 each, they're a decent budget bite, but the flavor profile needs some work. The Burrito: I accidentally ordered beef instead of chicken, which didn't help, but the preparation itself threw me off. It came out drenched and "wet," eating more like an enchilada than a standard burrito. Combined with the beef, it ended up being pretty mid. Drinks: The 2-for-1 lime margaritas for $8 were a definite highlight--good deal and refreshing, even if they only offered lime. The Verdict: Overall, it was just okay and nothing very special. It's a fine spot if you're looking for cheap Tuesday specials and a decent drink deal, but I probably wouldn't rush back for the food.

El Taco Larry? Yeah, we'll be back soon!!…read more Our Order: 1. Taco Appetizer. This comes with 5 tacos with meat of your choice. We ordered 2 asada, 2 carnitas, 1 tripa. We'll be ordering more tripa next time around as that was our favorite!!! 2. Quesadilla Loca. Hello? Just look at the picture and video. No regrets. 9/10. Would order again, again, and again. Would be 10/10 however, doesn't come with rice & beans. Easy fix though, we ordered it on the side. 3. Burrito de Carne Asada. The pico and guac typically goes inside however, i ordered on the side as a personal preference. Not the best i've had but pretty good overall. Honest rating 6.5/10. I'd like to try the other burrito options as this one was the most basic. 4. THE HORCHATA IS DELICIOUS!!!!! Not too sweet and just hit the spot. If i'm ever in the mood for some, this will be the go to spot. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and felt homey and welcoming. Enjoyed the atmosphere!! Hasta Luego Larry!!! (for now)

It has an odd but memorable name, and they only have a social media presence and no website that I could find. I've been here a couple of times in the past several months and forgot to take photos, but their Facebook page is loaded with pictures of different dishes as well as their menu, so you can see what you're getting. They have an extensive menu with traditional offerings plus a lot of stuff you won't find in other Mexican restaurants. Last time I went, we were seated in a booth and it was very poorly made because you can feel every movement of the person behind you. The guy behind me was violently enjoying his meal because I was getting bumped around every time he moved. It was incredibly annoying and uncomfortable, like the back had become partially separated from the seat. I had the quesadilla combo, which was only $10.99, and it came with rice, beans, and salad. The "salad" was a small bit of lettuce with a dollop of sour cream and a few bits of tomato. It's not a side salad in case that's what you're expecting. The quesadilla actually had a good bit of chicken in it, but very little cheese, and everything was dry. It wasn't bad, but I don't think I'd order that again. If you're looking for a unique non-alcoholic drink, I highly recommend the Mangonada. It's a frozen blended fruit drink with lots of mango chunks and the straw is a tamarind candy stick. I really enjoyed mine but it does take a while to drink since it is completely frozen. Our server was great and friendly, and the food came out quickly, so this is a good place for lunch. It was packed last time I went, and I think it's helping to fill the void left by El Saltillo closing near the mall.
