Visiting Biloxi from NJ, SC and FL. Was craving great Mexican food and found El Rincón on Yelp. To say it did not disappoint is an understatement. We were immediately greeted by Oliver, whose positive attitude was just as addictive as the chips, salsa and black bean dip. His sense of humor had us rolling and he customized a delicious queso fundido for us with queso, shredded chicken and veggies that we have trademarked "Michaela." The Benjamin shrimp tacos were outstanding. As were the chicken street tacos. This is the best Mexican restaurant we have ever experienced and we are representing three states. Run...don't walk...to El Rincón and when you get there give Oliver a high five from us!!! read more

On th hunt for the best mexican food nearby Biloxi! Again, I don't know how this restaurant has this high of a score. The service was not good at all. I was there dining in and did not get asked one time how I was doing, if I needed anything, nothing but I noticed they asked the other tables... that was weird. The chips and salsa... The salsa was liquid. It just taste like tomato had no other taste to it. I was so disappointed.. the chips were whatever nothing special. I got al pastor and shrimp tacos with rice and beans. Tacos were less than mid! the tortillas were super thick, it just was not up to par, personally. I tried Al Pastor, which had no flavor at all. They drench the tacos with toppings.. I guess to hide the fact that the meat is so bland. Unfortunately, it was the same thing with the shrimp tacos + the shrimp was chewy. Pretty expensive and not worth it. Would not go back for the food or service .... maybe for the drink specials tho read more

Do NOT drive past this restaurant!!! Turn around and march right in there! Such a cute and vibrant place. You will be met with chips, salsa and a delicious bean dip. I love Agua de Jamaica and they served me a massive glass of it which made me quite happy. My husband ordered their ribeye and shrimp. I was having a hard deciding on what exactly to order. Melissa to the rescue! Full of smiles and eager to answer any questions that you may have about the menu. She helped me narrow down my choices and I ultimately went with their volcano fajita. Let me just say, she did not steer me wrong! She's an excellent server. The plates are massive and so I warn you not to fill up on chips the way that I did. I really liked their salsa and bean dip. My husband barely spoke as he inhaled his meal. He said that the steak was full of flavor and the shrimp were fresh. It had a cheese sauce poured all over it which made him incredibly happy. My volcano fajita came out hot and sizzling and it was piled high with different types of meats- steak, chicken, chorizo, and bacon. Grilled onions and peppers and their cheese sauce. That poor potato was fighting for its life holding up everything! I cannot tell you how delicious my meal was as it was served with flour tortillas, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, rice, and beans. I instantly regretted eating my weight in chips. Everything was delicious. The restaurant was full on a Saturday afternoon. We will definitely be back to try more of their delicious food. Add this spot to your list! read more

ITs a small restaurant slightly out of the way and worth finding! the food was delicious, the menu was large and the drinks were imaginative. We even took pictures of the drinks! We all ordered different entrees and we all liked what we got. there are several things I want to go back to try. So much better than the chain restaurants. read more

I don't often give 5 stars but man, the fundido (one of the ribeye entrees) is this good! Came out sizzling with grilled onions, mushroom and cheese. It came with tortillas that were a little crispy, oily and not enough (could've used more than 3-4 since the steak was that big!), beans and rice. Don't let the excessively bright red rice fool you... Very tasty! But back to the steak... Flavorful and the burnt cheese on the bottom of the sizzling plate... Don't let that go to waste! I really can't wait to be back to try the other ribeyes! Oh, complementary chips and salsa and a Honduran/Central American black bean paste dip that was all very good. Skipped alcohol this time but there is a variety available. Staff friendly - they're not overly hovering so you may be left alone for a bit after food arrives (aka for your own good, they don't quickly refill your chips and salsa). Place clean. There's a side room/enclosed patio that can host a large group also. read more

The food was good in this tucked away little joint. The restaurant is pretty small, and was very busy for 7:45 on a weeknight. I had the Birria tacos. They were very good. If you are going to order dessert, do the churros. read more

Welcome to Margarita Paradise. This is my favorite place for Mexican food on the coast. If you like margaritas, you MUST try this place. I recommend the Bubbly Margarita, which is frozen margarita with fruit and a small bottle of champagne. Look, that drink is so good, that on my way back home to Houston, I could not stop thinking about it. I even bought a special blender to try to recreate it. Mine was good, but El Rincòn's couldn't be matched. I need some mixology lessons from them! My friends had the Blue Hawaiian margarita and the Mango margarita. Of the two, I preferred the Mango because the Blue was sweeter than what I usually drink. Still, the Bubbly Margarita is elite! The chips, salsa, and queso were all very good. The salsa isn't spicy, so if you like heat, request some jalapeños. I am a vegetarian, so I had the cheese enchiladas with no meat. The kids had quesadillas, nachos, and fried ice cream. They were happy with their food. The servers are always nice, and I really like my name twin - Sonia! If I had a suggestion for the restaurant, it would be to offer a few vegetarian options. Spinach enchiladas, veggie enchiladas, bean tacos etc... That would be appreciated, and could bring in more guests who might otherwise overlook this super cute, incredibly yummy, uber friendly, margarita paradise. read more

I had three different tacos and honestly couldn't pick a favorite. The shrimp was crispy, the chicken was smoky, and the beef had great seasoning. Everything came out hot and freshly made. They also had horchata which was a nice touch. Chill place to grab a quick and tasty bite. read more

Wow! I had friends both recommend El Ricon recently for their favorite Mexican spot, and it was definitely the BEST Mexican food I've had on the Coast! Service was excellent and the food was amazing... from the fresh salsa, the bean dip they serve when you're seated to the great entrees we ordered. I had the Birria Quesadillas with consommé with rice and beans for only 14.99. They were excellent... perfectly seasoned, rich consommé along with some fresh salsas. I was full and satisfied after eating this tasty dish! My wife had steak tacos that were full of strips of steak seasoned to perfection inside homemade tortillas. I traded one of my quesadilla wedges for one of her tacos and it was soooo good! We can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu! Definitely worth 5 stars!!!!! read more

Add another one to the 5-star club. This place is amazing! Authentic, made-to-order Mexican noms all around! We were headed to our favorite restaurant and since it was closed we decided to head to El Rincon. We dine at mexican restaurants regularly but havnt been here in a couple of years. First off between the loud music and people screaming to talk to each other it's extremely noisy and good thing it's not summertime cause AC seemed to be out and a little warm inside. As others have mentioned their seemed to be a language barrier with servers and good possibility of messing up your order. I really not sure about my partners meal but I ordered the chicken fajitas and they were possibly the worst I've ever experienced. Chicken sliced thin and thrown on flat top without seasoning and ended up dry and simular to jerky only flavor was some char from burning. The small flour tortillas were semi hard and stale. I have no clue why this place gets such high reviews cause I've had better $10 fajitas from the place down the road. Only reason I scarfed them down was cause I hadn't eaten all day and was starving! The term dry as dirt comes to mind. Epic failure on these chicken fajitas! read more

I raved about this place so I'm so disappointed to write this review We walked in, this time bringing another couple with us, and continuously hyping it up. They were busy and we understand this, but it took 15 mns for waters. 30 minutes for queso. We watched every single table come in, get their food, get drinks, pay and leave and we were there for 1 hr and 45 mns just to eat! Y'all know Mexican restaurants are fast AF. So this was unbelievable. Everything took SO long. We probably won't be back because it was that bad. To top it off my quesadilla was cold, and my friend who got the pineapple fajita didn't get the tortillas or rice to go with it. read more

El Rincón - Carnitas and el pastor tacos. - Mexican Near Me - Biloxi, Mississippi

This is the spot for the best Mexican food around! We love everything on the menu. The food is so fresh and the service is great!

If you are near St. Martin-Biloxi this place is a must visit. Check out their Facebook page, Elrincon in St Martin. The drinks are to die for and they have alcohol in them that will sneak up on you, so you better have a side of water. The Elricon dip is awesome and tasty and the guacamole is hand made and delicious too. Ask for their spicy sauce/dip you will either regret it or love the heat, have a towel to wipe your forehead. The pineapple fajita is awesome and so delicious. The street tacos are excellent, I thought I found the best last week in Tennessee, but I may need to correct that. The staff is wonderful and you get what you pay for they make sure you have enough. The place gets fu fast, but the food speaks for itself. You may have to wait a few because everything is cooked to order. Which makes it even more special. Stop by you will not regret it. read more

I really like this restaurant, however; I'm sitting here in the emergency department waiting for my wife to be seen. horrible servive my server (FERNANDA E) was so rude to me im guessing becuase i asked for a SHIRLEY TEMPLE. everyone but her was nice and she didnt even try to take my order and just walked off. no one who acts like this should be working in customer service ever. and they were talking shit about me behind the counter and referred to me as the girl with the queso and I didn't even get queso. never come here unless you want to be treated with disrespect and ignorance. never coming back xoxo read more

Sigh.... Customer service means everything. I walk in and get ignored for about 10 minutes I'm patient so finally the waitress gives me a menu.
