The first time I came here I did not enjoy the birria tacos. The tortilla was not very good in my opinion. However, it's close to base so I've come back and tried a few more items. I think the carne asada tacos and menudo are great. Service is hit or miss. I've had great service some days and okay service others. Tacos are the best ive had so far here in Biloxi! For the chips and salsa, the chips were pretty good. The salsa was just like tomatoes. It was no spice at all which is not my preference, but for some it could be good. The salsa served with my food were so good!! they were spicy and had great flavor. I am on the hunt to find the best mexican food here, tried a handful and this is number 1! For tacos ... haven't tried anything else on the menu yet, but I will definitely be back to! Honestly, the food was really disappointing. I usually don't leave negative reviews, but this was bad enough that I felt like I should. The portion of beans was tiny, the food did not taste fresh, everything was stale, and the overall quality was just not good. My partner ordered tacos and ended up getting sick afterward, which made the experience even worse. Maybe this place is considered decent locally, but compared to other Mexican food I've had, it was extremely disappointing. We had sort of a random stop here for lunch with a group of 6. Service was fast and we all had our food within 10 minutes, absolutely negative to say about it. As a Californian, I had to try the California Burrito as it's been years since I've had one. When the plate arrived, I was a bit confused because it was nothing like I'm used to (usually there's carne asada, fries, guacamole, etc.) but instead I was greeted with a burrito filled with steak and peppers. I can only assume that's how they do it in Mexico...nonetheless it was still tasty and they give you A LOT of steak, enough to make me forget it's not what I was expecting. My friend gave me one of his Birria tacos and it was great even if the cheese they used was a bit unorthodox. The star of the show was the sauce, it was so good and actually spicy which might scare away some people. I believe the green sauce is more mild if you're not feeling like living on the edge. Outside of the service and food, the interior is very stylized. For a second I forgot I was in Mississippi...take with that what you will. My expectations were blown away, it's not the best Mexican food or the most authentic but I can definitely see myself coming back. For that, 5 stars as I came away from this happy. read more

Great food. I had a chile relleno and a chalupa (tostada). It was delicious and authentic. The chips and salsa were typical American style chips, very thin Tostito style. I would have preferred Mexican totopo tortillas chips, but the salsa was good. I could tell they were heavy on the cumin. The service was great; my server spoke both Spanish and English. There are few tables in the small dining room, but much of their business is take-out, and there is a drive through window. Parking spots behind the restaurant are also limited, but I did find a spot. The music was very loud, so I changed tables to one farther away from the speakers. I would not consider this an intimate restaurant for a date, neither suitable for a business lunch because of the loud music. The limited seating makes it unlikely for groups. But if you like great Mexican food, this is your place. I recommend them. read more

My husband and I went to lunch with our son for his birthday. My husband and I split some chicken fajitas, and I don't remember what our son ordered. We enjoyed our entrees. My husband and I split a flan, and my son had churros. Both desserts were served with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. The service was wonderful. The only complaint would be the salsa for the chips, it was on the watery side. But other than that, we had a great experience and would return again. This place has really great food and it's inexpensive for what you get. They have a Taco Tuesday special where beef or chicken tacos are just $1.15 each. Other dishes like chile relleno and their burritos are great, and they don't skimp on cheese. Inside, it's fairly small and they don't have many tables, plus parking is very limited, so on busy days you may have trouble getting in or find it sort of cramped. I don't mind that when the food is good. You should definitely give this place a try. read more

If we could give this place no stars, we would. We placed an order to go and when we looked at our bank statement, the total was $5 higher than what we were told. We were given a receipt that confirmed that we were over charged and when we asked the cashier about the price, she said they charge $5 more for to go orders. If you are looking for some good authentic street tacos this place is not bad. They also have $1 taco Tuesday deals but that's for your regular American Tacos which are not worth it to me. I called this location thinking that they had the Birria tacos like how the Gulfport location advertise. WRONG. They were not the birria dipped tacos that I am used to having with the consume. Normally birria dipped tacos you take the tortilla and dip it in the broth, grill it with the meat and mozzarella and it becomes this crunchy taco and on the side is the dipping broth with pieces of the meat, onions and cilantro in it. The Biloxi location version of a birria taco was regular street taco with a bowl of oily broth on the side. If you're looking for a true authentic birria taco, do not go here. Unfortunately the Gulfport location were sold out of their birria tacos which is why I went to the Biloxi location. Although I have not tried the Gulfport location birria taco, the picture looks true to an authentic birria taco and I look forward to trying it there. read more

Doesn't look like much. Depending on the time you go, you may have to wait for a table. However, the food is amazing!! First time I went, I ordered two pork tacos with pineapple (very small pieces). This is personally my favorite. You can have grilled onions and jalapeño with them. A delicious meal!! Salsa is tasty and a favorite. Hot sauce is spicy. They also have a drive through. This is a bit of a dive BUT the tacos here are amazing! You have to order and pick up yourself so don't expect fine dining. The horchata was great. I don't like eating off of Styrofoam and using plastic but that seems to be the thing in the south. Definitely no frills place but the food makes up for it. Every time I went to order my food there's always a problem. The tacos are soggy by time you get home, food is missing out of your order, wrong food given to you . Staff very unprofessional owner doesn't speak English so you can't complain to him about your order. To many young kids playing around that's why they can't get your order correct.
