Honestly, the food was really disappointing. I usually don't leave negative reviews, but this was bad enough that I felt like I should. The portion of beans was tiny, the food did not taste fresh, everything was stale, and the overall quality was just not good. My partner ordered tacos and ended up getting sick afterward, which made the experience even worse. Maybe this place is considered decent locally, but compared to other Mexican food I've had, it was extremely disappointing. The service also wasn't great, so overall I would not come back or recommend it.

WOW. A true sleeper on the coast. Extensive menu. Awesomely good find. Great service. One of, if not the best, taco salads I have ever had! The California burrito plate was huge, hot and tasty. The churros and fried ice cream were spot on! Our server, Stephany, was super friendly. Very knowledgeable about menu items and ensured a great experience! The ambience is awesome, a true cantina feel. Decorated tastefully with a lot of thought.

Great food. I had a chile relleno and a chalupa (tostada). It was delicious and authentic. The chips and salsa were typical American style chips, very thin Tostito style. I would have preferred Mexican totopo tortillas chips, but the salsa was good. I could tell they were heavy on the cumin. The service was great; my server spoke both Spanish and English. There are few tables in the small dining room, but much of their business is take-out, and there is a drive through window. Parking spots behind the restaurant are also limited, but I did find a spot. The music was very loud, so I changed tables to one farther away from the speakers. I would not consider this an intimate restaurant for a date, neither suitable for a business lunch because of the loud music. The limited seating makes it unlikely for groups. But if you like great Mexican food, this is your place. I recommend them.

Not bad. I have to say this place is authentic and great for Mexican street tacos. They had great flavor and good customer service. If you are looking for some good authentic street tacos this place is not bad. They also have $1 taco Tuesday deals but that's for your regular American Tacos which are not worth it to me. If I'm going to have a taco, I want a real Mexican street taco and that's what this place serves. I had the Pastor Taco and the steak and chicken combo street tacos. They had great flavor and the toppings were grilled perfectly the hot sauces were flavorful and not too hot. I would eat here again for Tacos... the street kind not the American tacos. It's just not the same.

I got here pretty often. If you want something authentic then I was suggest El Potrillo! The tacos are amazing and the staff is always ON IT! They remember your order when you walk in the door. These ladies work hard. The place is a little small but it gets pretty packed around lunch from experience.

Your typical Mexican taqueria, simple, affordable, and flavorful. Their salsas are spicy (served on the side), you been warned. The food is made fresh and fast, but full of flavor. The tacos are served with rice and beans on the side. The meat is served in really good portions, if you were used to eat 5 tacos in other taquerias, you will be fully satisfied here with 3. There are fountain sodas, Mexican bottle sodas and others.

This is the coziest Mexican place I've been too not at all what is expected from the exterior Small dining area but very adequate seating And the food and service is top notch. I had the taco salad and my company had the steak and peppers fajita and both were more than enough and absolutely delicious for the price my only concern was the taco shell and plating that had water on the bottom which cause my shell to be soggy like they put the lettuce in wet but didn't take away from the taste at all.. could not finish the whole thing

Best street tacos in Biloxi aside from La Bamba restaurant and supermarket (also amazing located on judge sekul Ave ) . A small orange joint on pass road that's easy to miss. They never disappoint. The closest thing to authentic California street tacos I could find.

Lots of seating inside and the server was great. I highly recommend their tripas tacos as long as you don't mind no chitlins. Delicious!

Visiting Biloxi from NJ, SC and FL. Was craving great Mexican food and found El Rincón on Yelp. To…read moresay it did not disappoint is an understatement. We were immediately greeted by Oliver, whose positive attitude was just as addictive as the chips, salsa and black bean dip. His sense of humor had us rolling and he customized a delicious queso fundido for us with queso, shredded chicken and veggies that we have trademarked "Michaela." The Benjamin shrimp tacos were outstanding. As were the chicken street tacos. This is the best Mexican restaurant we have ever experienced and we are representing three states. Run...don't walk...to El Rincón and when you get there give Oliver a high five from us!!!

I was there dining in and did not get asked one time how I was doing, if I needed anything, nothing but I noticed they asked the other tables... that was weird. The chips and salsa... The salsa was liquid. It just taste like tomato had no other taste to it. I was so disappointed.. the chips were whatever nothing special. I got al pastor and shrimp tacos with rice and beans. Tacos were less than mid! the tortillas were super thick, it just was not up to par, personally. I tried Al Pastor, which had no flavor at all. They drench the tacos with toppings.. I guess to hide the fact that the meat is so bland. Unfortunately, it was the same thing with the shrimp tacos + the shrimp was chewy. Pretty expensive and not worth it. Would not go back for the food or service .... maybe for the drink specials tho

Sorry for the long review but this place deserves the time…read more This restaurant is in a blink and you will miss it location, which is a real shame. We received an enthusiastic greeting upon walking in the door which felt truly genuine, and not the forced feeling that usually accompanies the scripted entry greetings. They weren't busy so we were told to sit wherever suited us. Our server, Jairo was super friendly and eagerly answered any questions we had about both the food and the restaurant itself. I was interested in the panela lemonade, which I loved. It is a darker almost smokier version of lemonade made with brown sugar, which mellows out the acidity with more complex flavors. For an appetizer we had the empanada sampler which is now only 3 ground beef empanadas( my fault for not reading the description because it does clearly say it), it was explained to me that they used to be an actual sampler of flavors but that it is now just the ground beef. They are corn flour based empanadas. This gives the dough a slightly sweeter earthier taste which I personally preferred. They were perfectly filled and the sauces accompanying them were perfectly suited the them. For entrees we both ordered Picada platters. Usually when we go out we make sure not to order the same thing so we can try more things, but his time neither of us would budge. They come with grilled steak, chicken. cased chorizo, and rellena, fried pork belly, plantains, and yuca, served with roasted Colombian yellow potatoes and an arepa. DUDE! I'm glad I didn't give in and order something else. This was fantastic. The steak and chicken were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Sausages were all crispy. The only thing remotely negatively that was can come up with is that the fried foods did need a littl bit of salt. That being said I was more than happy with what was on the plate. I assure you the only reason everything didn't get smashed was I hadn't been awake long and it takes a bit to get my appetite, bit have no doubt I got the rest boxed. There is one key thing I want to say about something else that I ate here. Rellena, ie. Columbian black pudding/blood sausage. Just put it in your mouth, chew, and don't panic. It's amazing. I've had British black pudding and wasn't really a fan. This is different though. It has a much better texture to get off the bat. Crispy on the outside and a perfect density inside. The deep smokey seasonings elevate this to a piece of art. Just trust me on this one and don't descriminate against this sausage Find this little family owned restaurant and stuff your face, you won't regret it.
