Ended up at this little hole in the wall on accident. I was on lunch break working a construction job up in Ogden. Not being familiar with the area i put in my gps for one of my favorite places for chicken El Pollo Loco. However when i arrived at my destination i did not realize i had actually clicked on a place called El Pollo Rico. So i decided to try it out and i was not disappointed. The menu looked to be a Mexican/American mix with a lot of Mexican hamburger options but i was on a mission for chicken. 10 Bucks will get you a couple chicken thighs, beans, rice, corn or flour tortillas, a roasted jalapeño, a lime, and a little cup of pickled onions and a Jaritos. The chicken was nice and juicy and the skin was grilled to perfection nice and crispy. The green avocado salsita was very delicious and the red had great flavor and a lot of heat. I love tearing off pieces of my chicken and just dunking them in the spicy red sauce! Overall a great little unsuspected lunch break for a hard working construction gal like myself

A friend told me this place has good chicken, so I dropped by while visiting Weber state university. Got the half-chicken, which came with rice and beans and tortillas. I was surprised how huge the portion was! And oh my it was good. As in really goooood. I'm definitely coming back!

Quesadilla and 1/4 chicken with corn tortillas rice and beans! Delicious!

I stopped by while visiting a friend because someone told me about this restaurant. I ordered the Hawaiian hamburger, it was deelicious!! Since then I've stopped by to try their Mexican menu and everything is deelicious!! Definitely one of my go to places for lunch and dinner if I'm craving something healthy and not so healthy at the same time! Their grilled chicken is Soo good! Much better than El Pollo loco...

Loved the food! Not another place like this locally. I had shared the 1/2 chicken plate, chicken tacos, and small order of the Chicken Frijoles Nacho Fries w my wife just so we could try a variety. All of the food we ordered tasted delicious! Definitely gonna have to return again! Thanks!!!

Bought 3 taco combo which a drink is included, did all the math and there was $5 worth of charges that weren't accounted for.

Xalisco Tequila Bar is such a quaint, fun little establishment! While the food menu is concise,…read moreevery single option is phenomenal, delicious, and well-crafted--you really can't go wrong with anything you order. The real showstopper here is the drink menu: it's mind-blowing. The selection of tequilas and cocktails is so massive you could visit for days and still not try everything. On top of the incredible food and drinks, the seating is fun, and the waitstaff is exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended--we're already planning our next trip back to try more!

For a second I wondered if they were closed, but someone eventually came out and seated me. That initial vibe had me a bit concerned, but I stuck it out. I started with the chips, corn, and guacamole, which was decent, nothing mind-blowing but fresh enough and got the job done. The Cadillac Margarita ($20) was a disappointment though. It was basically a glass of ice with way too much lime juice dominating everything; I could barely taste the tequila. The Michelada was better, solid and refreshing, and the service was about the same: friendly and attentive enough once they got going, but nothing standout. But holy smokes, that asada stuffed burrito saved the whole meal. The asada was ridiculously tender, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor. Juicy, smoky, melt-in-your-mouth beef wrapped in a solid burrito. That one item alone made me glad I came. Overall, the place has some hits and misses. If the asada is what you're after, it's worth it. Just maybe skip the Cadillac marg and don't expect a lively atmosphere on a slow night. I'd go back for the burrito.

They were awesome. Luke and Brooke were amazing and not flustered by the rush as the drink orders kept coming. We watched them give the same amount of attention to every drink and garnish; each one looked perfect when it left the bar. My wife had a Rosa 75, on the menu, it had a Mexican gin in it that was phenomenal. No big juniper taste, bright tasting and beautiful. She also had a custom creation of Luke's called a "Sassy Marg" that used Ancho Reyes Verde liqueur. It gave the drink just the right amount of spice. I had a classic margarita and then a. Pina Colada that was dangerously tasty. If you ever go here0 make sure to visit Luke and Brooke at the bar. Well worth it!

Decided to give them a call to see if there were any tables, just in case. To my surprise there was! I got so excited. I arrived at my reservation time of 615 and was promptly seated... in a near empty restaurant. Why the need for reservations? Anyway... after placing our quickly order (since we had studied the menu at home)... finally AN HOUR LATER our food arrived. The server apologized and said we got stuck behind a large party. Now, I'm no scientist, but wouldn't you assume if the restaurant required reservations and their system was showing a fully booked house, including a large party, wouldn't you bring on maybe just one more chef? Anyway... the food was great. Service, not so much!

After a quick morning flight to Ogden, UT to visit our besties, we found ourselves hungry and…read morecraving some Mexican. A quick Yelp search lead us to No Manches Way. THE LOCATION: This is where things got a little tricky. Street parking for No Manches Way is basically nonexistent. There is a small lot in the back through a narrow alley alongside the building. THE ATMOSPHERE: Eh... Awkward is a good way to sum it up. There's a tv with a DJ, in what looks like his parents basement, blasting club music. It was much louder than it needed to be for any restraint. Especially during the day. Aside from that, there were some neat murals on the walls and a variety of seating. THE EATS: Having caught wind of the birria craze back in Colorado, I was excited to see that they offered this here! Yay! So I eagerly ordered up a quesa birria (which is essentially a cheese quesadilla with a dipping au jus). My husband chose to nosh on a massive asada burrito, and our friend chose the street tacos. The meals definitely satisfied the craving and filled our tummies. THE DRINKS: Since they're across the street from a church and located in Utah, you will not find beer or liquor here. They do feature Mexican Coca Cola, Parrot juice drinks, among other things. I opted for a Pink Guava juice drink. It definitely paired perfectly with my meal. THE SERVICE: There's no table service here. You place your order at a counter in the back of the restaurant and receive a tray with your food when it's ready. Being the first time I've had birria, I was a little disappointed that how to season the broth was not explained more to me. It came with a plethora of cilantro and onion that I was unsure of how to use. Oh well. No Manches Way was A-OK in my book. I wouldn't be opposed to stopping by again next time we're in town and checking out more of the menu.
